Good byes



Inviting pain and showing it out.
A heart cold as ice cracking like such.
You meant so much, so many tears, to shed over these memories.
Despite the mistakes the feeling remains haunting the heart with bitter memories.
The feeling overwhelms; cold chills to cover the heart and clench at the throat.
But know this my memory you will always be in my heart.
For better or for worse your figure shall be there.

A broken heart
gathered up,
prettied up,
able to imitate the real thing.
Broken hearts move together
supporting one another;
letting us survive. We stand knowing,
suffering,
understanding,
our eyes clenched
along with our teeth gnashed shut together.
It beats like the sound of a coming storm.
