Jikumo was working on his mechcycle when his mother came in with lunch, “Jiku! I’ve made you your favorite lunch!” She handed him a slice of pizza with some potato chips. “Thanks mom, just put it over there, I don’t want to get grease on it,” he said. Jikumo had been working on a new hydraulics system for his new cycle. He had gotten it for his birthday when he was 15, he was 17 now, and he had upgraded the cycle from its 1.0 model to a 1.9 model all by himself with parts from the junkyard. He put down his tools, cleaned his hands off, and started to eat his slice of pizza. “Man…I really need to get a new upgrade chip; the new 2.0 model is already out…” He talked to himself like this all the time, he isn’t crazy, he just likes to hear his own voice, and it calms him down. When he finished his food, he went over to look at his cycle, it was the color blue, built for speed and precision and with the new hydraulics system, and he would be able to boost himself into the air. He needed more parts, though. “I guess it’s time to go to the junkyard again. Hopefully someone wrecked already.”
