Pearl Adventures: Nuzlocke Mode

I should first say that I'm Suds. I have black hair, and I always wear a red hat. I live in Twinleaf Town and my best friend's name is Barry. I never would have expected what was going to happen to me. And it all started because of the news.

I woke up and turned on the news. It said something about a Red Gyarados. "This is interesting." I said, lost in wonder. When the new was over, my mom called my downstairs. "Coming!" I yelled back down. I went down the stairs, and I saw Mom sitting down. "Yes?" I asked. "Your friend, Barry, came looking for you, and I told him I would tell you." She said. She had blueish hair, and a pretty good face. "I'll go to his house." I decided. I left the house and went to Barry's house in the small town. When I went in front of the door, Barry came out so fast, he was like a bullet, and he slammed into me.

"Hey, Barry." I said. "What's up?"

"Did you see the news?" He asked.

I nodded my head. "Why?"

"Well, I think there might be something like that in Lake Verity." Barry quickly replied. "Let's go! Wait, I just remembered something." Barry went back inside and came back out a few seconds later. "Hurry up!" He called out because he was running to Route 201. When I got there, he told me to lead the way.

We went to Lake Verity and we saw someone that I saw only on TV, Prof Rowan. He was there with some girl that I suspected to be his assistant. They were talking among themselves. They came back to the entrance, and we let them pass. Barry, not knowing who he was, saw a briefcase in the tall grass. "I wonder what's in it." He said.

"I don't think we should." I said. "There could be wild Pokemon that could attack us."

"We won't be in there for long." He said as he led me into the grass. "Hey, there's Pokeballs in here!"
