Wistuffly INC. Presents, Breathing Again

A most welcoming welcome to you all, boils and ghouls. Today, I bring you another lovely game to play. However, it is not like my previous games, found here. No no ladies and gentlemen, this will be a much darker tale. You are familiar with the term, "Zombie" yes? Those who were once alive, turned dead and back again to eat people? That's what this whole thing is going to be about. An undead RPG. I've decided to create this as I lack things to do. But let us shamble on to the actual game.

So, as stated, this a zombie game. It plays just like my other game, post by post. I cannot release too many details, as it would spoil some parts of the game. You will be a (most likely temporary) survivor of the apocalypse. Scavenging for supplies, forms of defense against the dead, other survivors, and all in all salvation. This will not be an easy task by any stretch of the imagination, and you will most likely die a few times. Now, you don't get booted out of the topic for dying, as it will most likely be very common. Instead, each and every time you die, you create a new character. These characters don't differ a whole lot, as you have minor influence on what your character may be. You could say your character was a cop before the zombie outbreak, but elephant people from Mars are shunned upon.

Now, in the pursuit of keeping things brief, let us begin playing the game, alright? You may begin with viewing your current surroundings. But remember those few who dare brave this tale. You are never alone.

Ant) You wrap your gun around the top of the wire, and prepare yourself to jump. The closest building the wire would bring you is the shop next to the building of survivors. A plethora of zombie wait for you in the street, grabbing at nothing in the air in an attempt to reach you. With a burst of courage and stupidity, you leap off from the building clinging to your firearm.

And it seems to work, for the first couple seconds. However, the gun begins to tilt to the side, and with the help of your weight you go overboard. You fall a good distance before crashing into the front of a van, smashing the windshield glass. Your gun falls out of reach into the asphalt of the road. The horde takes notice of the loud smashing of the glass, and begins to stagger towards you.

Curse loudly, (try to) get up, and try to find a place to hide (preferably one devoid of shambling zombies.)

Also, for the record, it wasn't a burst of stupidity. It was a last resort; any other method of going down would inevitably (rather than probably, as was the case here) lead to my death, and I sure as hell wasn't going to starve to death on the roof.

Places to hide:

- The survivor building
- Top of the building
- Manhole (Underground Entrance)

Your back hearts a lot, and you think it is bleeding. You can still get to any of those three places, but it will hurt. You have one round, whether it be moving to one of those three places or doing a different action.

I'm going to the manhole, assuming I'm fit enough to go down the ladder (if there is a ladder) safely and assuming that the cover is open.
If not, I'm off to the survivor building; there should be fewer zombies surrounding that place, what with my distraction, and if the survivors escaped, I should be able to hole up there for a bit and check my wound. Who knows, maybe blood in an open wound WON'T infect me! Hell, I don't know anything about the virus - for all I know, you turn into a zombie upon death, and bites have nothing to do with it! Or maybe zombies produce venom in their teeth, which would mean that blood doesn't matter!
I digress. Manhole if the cover is open and it's safe to go down, and survivor building otherwise.

You limp over, aching back and all. The horde watches as you leap down into darkness. And it is indeed dark. With the light coming from the manhole, you can see you're in some sort of hallway, most likely uses for maintenance or some such. The usual moaning and groaning can be heard, and you see a couple of the dead walking past the hole, or taking a quick glance at you and moving on. It seems they have gained interest in the survivors again.

You are now in the maintenance shaft. The zombies have lost interest, for now at the very least. Action, please.

So, I'd like to inspect my wound/bruise/whatever injury I have, if possible (only if there are no zombies to scare the hell out of me, of course).

You take a look around the hallway, no zombies in sight apart from the manhole. You touch your back to find a sharp stabbing on contact. You have numerous pieces of glass in your back. They hurt a lot.

Swear softly, but leave the shards in. Pulling them out myself in such a dangerous situation could lead to more blood loss, and would only attract more zombies.
Now that I'm done spitting profanities, I'm going to go down the hallway.

You can either go left, or right. Both are very dark and you have no current light source.

Um... I'm staying where I am, actually.

Ant) You sit down and bleed a little.

The zombies above you have past, and the screams tell you that the survivors have too. You are in a dark maintenance shaft. What will you do?

I think I'll get trail mix from my pack (which I DID NOT DROP ANYWHERE MKAY?!)

Ant) You eat some trail mix and bleed a little.

Do I have any bandages?
No? Yes?
If I do, I'm bandaging myself.
If not, I'll just scour my bag for something to use as a bandage.

Ant) No, but you have a set of spare clothes to turn into bandages. If you do want the bandages, do you apply them with the glass still in your back?
