When Pigs Fly

Jake decided to finally go to somewhere he hasn't been yet, and looks around. He sees no Pokemon so he walks around then sits down on the ground to rest.

Jacky happened to be flying nearby "the fresh air of morning... So refreshing..." He whispered happily as the starling Pokemon kept flying. Suddenly, a gust of wind forced jacky to lose his balance and fell straight upon the Tepig "eh, sorry" the flying type Pokemon apologised.

"It's OK!" Jake said to the Starly after he got up. "I'm Jake. What's your name?"

Jacky stood up to see a very excited Tepig indeed "Name's Jacky. Hmm" he thought "do I know you from somewhere?" the flying type pokemon asked.

Jake thought for a moment. "Oh right! I saw you at Shadowhue." Jake looked around hoping to see some Pokemon, but with no luck.

"Oh yes! I remember you! I remember Shawn and that outlaw who had stolen my berries! Thank you for helping me getting them back, I really appreciated it" Jacky replied with a smile. Out of sudden, he looked over at the Tepig again "Hey, wanna have a fight with me? Nothing personal, I just missed the old good times of fighting. It's been ages since I was in a fight you see"

Jake really wanted to fight, so he said yes. He used Tail Whip first to lower Jacky's defense and used Tackle.

Jacky saw that coming and dogded the attack. With a burst of speed, he counter attacked with Quick Attack, focusing Jake's back. The starling pokemon knew that the Tepig was slow in mobility, so it would be difficult for him to dogde the attack "Dont hold back!"

Jake looked behind him and jumped up and landed on Jacky's back. Jake then used Tackle from so close, that he just couldn't dodge the attack.

Jacky obviously knew he couldnt dogde the attack "Hah, good choice" he whispered as he used detect.

"Of course, Detect." Jake said as he missed. Jake then used Tackle again and again until it hit.

Jacky flied high in the skies "Now..." with a burst of speed, he dogded every tackle with Quick Attack as he landed a powerful tackle.

Jake almost dodge it, but got scraped on the left side of his body. "Ow. OK, I need to rest now." Jake said, forfeiting the battle. "Hey, I just left my old team, wanna join me, Jacky?"

Jacky laid down and relaxed his wings. While he was pecking his wings to get the dust off, the bird heard Jake talking and replied with a suprised expression "sure, why not? Ive recently quit team bodark..." a small tear appeared on his eye and just swept it off with his wing "sorry..."

It's OK, I'm not one to judge." Jake said to his new soon-to-be partner. Well, let's go to the Guild to make it official!" And Jake got up and waited for Jacky.
