| The Random Tale of an ALTERNATE TIMELINE: Dawn Doesn't Rise Two boys stand bickering in the center of a Nameless Town. There's no memory of how the fight even broke out between them now; just sharp words and lacerated egos. Nearby, a certain flame-headed girl nearby flips through a book on Alchemy, although it's clear that she's too worried about them to even focus a tiny bit on her book. She helplessly listens to them; her mind flailing as she tries in vain to gather the thoughts flying at warp speed inside her head. Just listening to them puts her on the verge of tears, but they are too preoccupied to notice the state she is in.
Dark clouds begin to cluster in the sky, and the fighting escalates. The girl flinches as though she's been brutally struck and nervously glances over; she had been unsuccessful in breaking them up with her first and second attempts, a highly unusual predicament for her. She considers going over and trying to stop them, but something tells her she needs to stay put. Almost as if she has to in order to truly help her friends.
The calling of a fate. Of a Destiny. A girl with potential that she will one day rise to. This is her fate; the destiny she was born with.
...That is, this would be her fate until it is robbed from her. For inside the threshold of "The Gate", a black-haired rival searches through a space full of thin threads. Some have cut, some are fraying... Some are stained in spots, and some look completely fresh and brand-new. But the black-haired girl isn't interested in these strings. No, she instead looks for where a certain string in particular leads. It's final destination, one could say. She finally finds it into a place all off on it's own, bringing all the other strings with it. There is a translucent orb that looks like a planet. There is is a scroll nearby with runes on it that read, "Kitsune Dawn Fira. Deity of...," with the last few words incomprehensible. But the girl doesn't care; she's found what she came for.
She takes the orb and holds it at eye level contemplatively for a moment. She doesn't care about who the destiny belongs to, nor will she ever in any way. She only knows that she must destroy it; because to achieve fulfillment of her personal desires, that is what is required.
The girl sets the orb down in front of her feet. She raises her hand high above her head, triumphantly, and one of her two scythe weapons appears into her hand out of nowhere.
This is it. This is what she has been waiting for. With one final, eerie grin, the figure brings the lower end of the scythe down on the orb and...
SHATTER
A destiny, broken. A timeline, split infinetely. With infinite possibilities, more than one story is told. Every story means crossroads. Every crossroad means a choice; every choice, a new chapter. Each choice stens something unique from the original timeline...
As the figure exits, her work having been finished, she notices something she would not have before in the Original Timeline. There is a statue of a pokemon with one of it's gemstone eyes having fallen to the floor. The figure knows this statue is not to be touched or fixed in any way by order of the Original One, but...
She approaches. She takes the gemstone eye in her hand gingerly and takes a few minutes to examine it thoroughly, taunting the one who lives in the stone, it seems.
She finally replaces the gemstone eye, and the statue begins to crack...
