Let the Construction Commence!

"Well, now that I've been granted permission by the guild to start construction, I guess it's time to start!" Izumi observed to herself. She stood within the Grassveil Guild, directly in front of the place where the Izumi Swap-Shop was to be built. The foundation and basic frame was built, but other than that it wasn't much to look at. Izumi dug into the treasure bag she kept with her and pulled out the construction plans she had been laboring over and looked them over quietly, occasionally looking up at the empty frame of the shop and then returning her gaze to the plans.

A smiling Midreavus had come in through the wall, literally phasing through to solid material as if it wasn't there. She wasn't here to join the guild, but rather just look around. Her eyes fell upon a pokemon who seemed to be building a structure inside the guild. Curious, Midna floated over behind Izumi and peeked at the plans. She looked them over a bit before speaking up. "A 'Swap-Shop', eh? Sounds like my kind of shop. Would you be willing to take on a new employee? I could help you build of course."

Izumi was slightly startled by the voice she heard behind her, but nevertheless she quietly turned to the newcomer. She tried her best to look friendly, but at the same time she could have easily been the posterchild for the stereotype of her species. She appeared dark, very quiet, and a troublemaker (despite the fact that she was only generally quiet).

"An employee? So you have an interest in items as well?" Izumi responded in a slightly understated tone (one she generally used to greet new faces). Despite her best intentions, she came off sounding just a bit antisocial. "My name is Izumi, by the way." she tried again, making a little progress.

Midna smiled and nodded. "Oh yes, especially rare and unique ones. Treasures you could say~" Midna did a barrel roll in mid air. "Priceless jewels, ancient artifacts, never before seen oddities... I want to see it all. A Swap-Shop is perfect for that, seeing as adventure teams explore all over. I'd love a chance to try this job. I'm very good at appraising the value of any Item to the T and I'll make sure to be fair in the deals. You can call me Midna if you'd like."

Izumi smiled a little bit as she thought about her migration to Grassveil with her sister. They had encountered a great number of items and wonders along the way, and she had also discovered her keen nose for items that could even penetrate the walls of boxes. Ever since then, items had become her passion.

"I could definitely use some help in the appraisals department; and it would be great if I had a partner who could help me seek out stock..." Izumi mused quietly. "It's a deal then. Nice to meet you, Midna!"

Midna grinned and nodded. "I'd shake on it, but no hands sadly. Now the sooner we set up shop boss, the sooner we can start making money. Lets take a look at these plans..." Midna looked at them closely, nodding after a while. "Looks simple enough. We can expand later too. How about I hold the pieces in place while you stick them together with glue and nails?" Midna started at the base, holding up the first part of the wall for Izumi to put on.

"That sounds like a plan to me, and then we have to get the fountain working again and set up the glass cases." Izumi mused on as she grabbed a hammer with her mouth and started nailing peices together. "Ah brght theh lockts fer theh catheth wif meh. Thereh en mah bahg." She added as she hammered.

(Note: Sorry, I forgot to mention;
It's not just called the Izumi Swap-Shop because of Izumi. It's built around a fountain, which is what Izumi means in Japanese)

Midna held the board in place until it was securely nailed down in place. She could not understand what Izumi was saying with the hammer in her mouth though. "You might not want to talk with that in your mouth. Your foot might get smashed by dropping it and I'll be the only one out there hunting down items. Wouldn't want that, now would we?" Midna of course had a semi tangible body and therefore couldn't be hurt easily that way.

Izumi gently set the hammer down beside her and pulled out a bunch of display case locks. "I was referring to these, heh heh." She chuckled sheepishly. "My bad."

She looked over at the large and heavy semi-circular display case. It would go on the platform that was built into the old fountain the store would be built on. "That's gonna be heavy; even for the two of us..." She muttered.

Midna thought about it, gauging their strength. "Hmm... Well if you are careful, lift with your legs, and we stay balanced, we should be able to do it. Just cause I float doesn't mean I can't lift anything. I suggest going slow though. I gotta balance it on my head since I lack hands and arms. One of the weaknesses of my kind sadly. Care to place one side on my head?"

Izumi looked thoughtfully at the case as Midna spoke. "Yes, I think that should work. Allow me..." She replied, then helped the Misdreavus with her end before Izumi took her own. "Alright... On the count of three..." she said. "One... Two... Three!"

Midna grunted and lifted her side of the case, willing herself to remain solid so she wouldn't pass through the solid glass. She made sure to keep it balanced and stay slow until they got it in place. Midna had stayed under, phasing through the counter as they lowered the case. Midna then looked it over. "Looks right in place partner. So, what is next?"
