» Natural Feats:

-Insomnia (Ability): Sleep does not come easily to Taily Po. She cannot be put to sleep through any conventional means.

» Personality: Haughty and proud as a result of being sheltered and spoiled for most of her life, Taily Po is, admittedly, a bit hard to get along with at first. While she isn't exactly openly hostile to others, her lack of a filter (which she bills as “honesty”) may wear on the nerves of those around her, and her sizable impression of herself and her own abilities borders on brash overconfidence. She brags incessantly about even her most minor achievements, and expects great rewards for the tasks she completes, no matter if she played a major or minor role. Because of this, since leaving her parent’s manor she has not made many friends, which has only made her more and more desperate to impress as time has gone on.

» Likes:

- Fire - Strangely for a Grass-type, Taily Po is actually drawn to fire rather than violently and fearfully repelled by it...to an extent. She is still harmed by it and would clearly not stay in the middle of a blazing forest, but she will comfortably sit near a campfire if allowed to do so. She also has a specific obsession with candles, and will collect them whenever she can and use them in place of other light sources.

- Leadership - Regardless of her actual ability to lead, Taily Po loves the recognition and responsibility of being a leader, and will often jostle with others (or simply just assume control if no one argues her for it) to be the head of any project.

- Praise - Relating to the above, the whole reason she had left her home was to make a name for herself, so she will revel in any recognition she gets, whether it be genuine or simply a stroke of her ego. It’s all the same to her, simply because she was preconditioned to believe she was special and destined for great things, and therefore any compliments at all must be the start of that destiny.

- Companionship: As hard as she can be to get along with, those who do see past her faults and make friends with her may see a Pokémon with an incredible sense of loyalty. Acquaintances and other Pokémon may be fair game to her, but she would never sacrifice or double-cross any mon she truly sees as a friend.

» Dislikes:

- Being Betrayed: Since her friends are few and far between, and because she forms such close bonds with the friends she does make, she doesn't take betrayal well. It is one of her greatest fears to be stabbed in the back by one of her closest friends, and, occasionally, may pester her friends to prove themselves with urgency to make sure they aren't plotting against her.

- Criticism: She is unused to criticism, and doesn't understand the purpose of it. This is mostly the fault of her upbringing, as she was the only child of a rich couple, who told her she could do anything she put her mind to and it would always be perfect, because it was made by her in her own special way. Therefore, when she tries to demonstrate her (mediocre at best) talents, anything short of a “perfect” response will be misinterpreted as an insult.

- Tight Spaces: Taily Po is very claustrophobic. If she is in a room, she will insist the door be open and a window visible at all times, otherwise she will feel trapped and panic.

» History: Taily Po was born to her Gengar father and Gourgeist mother in a manor on the outskirts of Grassveil Town. Her father, once a very influential and successful explorer in his own right, had settled down with all the money and treasures he had collected over the years and started a supply business that furnished many exploration shops with their merchandise, which kept his wife and young daughter very comfortable in their large home. Thus, Taily Po’s early life was filled with extravagance, both in physical wealth and from the wealth of love she received from her parents. Unfortunately, though her parents meant well, this behavior sheltered their daughter from the outside world, and when she was old enough to attend school, her inability to relate to the other children severely isolated her. Try as she might, she simply could not keep any friends, and when suggested better avenues to approach the situation by her teachers she barely listened, as she couldn't understand how the problem may lie with her.

Eventually her parents, worried about her continued isolation and her increasingly belligerent attitudes as she tried desperately to get others to like her, pulled her from public school and hired a private tutor for her to finish her studies with, only for her father’s business to unexpectedly go under months later, throwing their once wealthy family into massive debt as the business partner and former friend that had instigated the collapse of her father’s livelihood eagerly raked up the scraps.

Horrified by her father's betrayal, Taily Po vowed to her parents that she would leave for Grassveil to join a rescue guild, making a name for herself as her father had done and even becoming twice as successful to pay her parents back for all the love and care they had shown to her over the years. While she had little experience and an even smaller clue of what the world was like due to her short time spent outside the manor walls, she was absolutely determined to keep this promise, and both of her parents could see this.

So with the last of her father’s savings and a small bag filled with necessities, Taily Po took her official first step into the world and toward the west to Grassveil, hoping to restore her family's name...as well as make sure the world remembered the name Taily Po.

Sorry, your Character Bio cannot be approved due to the following reasons:

1.) SPIRITUAL ATTUNOPE

The Pokédex says none of that. It doesn't directly say that pumpkaboo can see spirits, or even confirm that the "saying" about them helping lost spirits move on is true. None of that is appropriate for a natural feat. Remember, you don't have to have two feats; you can leave it at just one for the ability.

2.) LIKES

May. They may see that. The general point of the statement is fine, but change the wording to respect the fact that not all characters will necessarily fall in line with how you intend for your character to be seen.

3.) DISLIKES

"Although Pumpkaboo normally may bury themselves in the ground to sleep..."

They do? Says what, the anime? We don't use the anime as a source due to its copious amount of inaccuracies and contradictions.

"This fear is a big contributing factor to her inability to sleep."

It competes with her ability literally being an inability to be put to sleep? I wouldn't quite call anything "big" compared to that.

4.) NO-SPRAWL ZONE

The location of this "sprawling manor" in your character's history doesn't exactly fit. Between Shadowhue Forest and Grassveil Town is nothing, because there is no between. A landmark such as a huge house does not fit in Shadowhue, so your best bet would be to place it in Grassveil (perhaps on the outer edge) or somewhere else entirely.

5.) SPOOKY GHOST

The history suggests that this character was born naturally, yet you still tried to list a feat that would only apply to a spirit. Just to be clear, a species that is known to come into being through their own death as something else has two options here. They can be born normally, or they can have a "birth through death" so to speak, where they live one life, die and end up coming back as the ghostly Pokémon. Essentially, new members of the species can be created either through natural birth or death as something else. You've clearly chosen the prior, so your character is not an earthbound spirit. I just want to be sure you understand this.

6.) LET ME PICK THINGS UP WITH MY... WAIT

That's what I foresee in your future. I just want to be sure you're aware that pumpkaboo doesn't seem to have any appendages to grasp things with. The best it has is a mouth and a very stubby body, which is hard to roleplay with, to say the least. This is alleviated through evolution since gourgeist have "arms," but until you get the appropriate evolution item, your character WILL be stuck with a rather limiting body. With a such a body, it will be difficult for your character to even use a bag properly. If you want a pumpkaboo, so be it, but I'd like to make sure you do want a pumpkaboo and understand what you're getting into.
