» Personality:
Skipper could be described as optimistic and cheery, but he’s mostly a calm, laid-back type of pokémon. He prefers to listen more than he talks and he will often remain completely motionless when in a conversation, making it seem as if he were ignoring others. Skipper enjoys urging others to relax as much as relaxing himself, and this can make him appear lazy. However, despite his docile appearance, Skipper is actually good at solving complex problems, albeit slowly. He’s also quite adept at socializing with others, although it might be due to his passive nature, and the fact that many things just go in one ear and out the other.
» Likes:
Skipper loves, absolutely loves, being in mud. Whenever he sees a mud puddle, he almost feels obligated to sit and roll around in it for at least a little bit. Along with this, he also quite enjoys swimming around in water, whether it be a rushing river, or a tranquil hot spring. Skipper also likes to sit/stand quietly, taking the time to look around and listen to all the things around him. One hobby that he has that’s a bit unordinary is organizing piles of objects. He can sometimes spend hours just placing sticks and rocks and the like into different piles then marvels at his handiwork. Despite his tendency to take life slow, he takes great pride in accomplishing tasks, and will work hard just to experience the feeling of a job well done.
» Dislikes:
Skipper doesn’t actually have too many dislikes thanks to his tendency to ‘go with the flow’. However he does get slightly agitated by a few things, such as very dry weather, which makes his skin feel itchy. Another thing that upsets him is when other pokémon mess with his head fin too much, which usually results in him head-butting said pokémon.
» History:
Skipper is the 5th and final child to 2 Swamperts. He and his family lived in a Estuary-side nest where his family had been living for generations. Because he was his parents’ last child, he wasn’t given too many responsibilities, and so he would incessantly follow his siblings around, simply watching what they would do. This always left Skipper with an empty feeling inside, and he strived to find something that he could do. This led him to learning about explorers and their amazing achievements. This is what Skipper believed he was meant to do, and without further ado, Skipper told his parents of his wish to join a guild, and they supported his goal, glad that their child had found his calling.
