The Night Hunters

This lines flashed into Lyods mind as the wind whipped by his face he raced along the tree top in the midst of the hunt. Poor unworthy soul it was really far too easy. He thought to himself as he flipped and landed just in front of the fleeing figure he had been chasing. He stumbled back and fell. Lyod stood half in the shadows he must have looked like a grim reaper because the prey had just wet itself. He debated drawing his Weapon That Never Was to Slay this one, but that wouldn't be needed after all sunset was fast approaching. Instead Lyod fixed his tie, and dusted off the fine looking suit he was wearing.

As the group feasted, Lyod shook the idea of his death from his mind and moved onto a more important matter. Their next prey, he'd stalked the prey earlier the day before and around this time of day would be the perfect time to get him. He'd be getting off of his job and driving home. Lyod rose after he'd eaten his filled looked to the two others and then started to pad off to the prey's den.

Yume looked over to Lyod curoius, "Off for another hunt? What do you want us to do?" she asked. They often did what they wanted but she wanted to know if there was anything that thier leader wanted them to do.

Roy looked up, finished eating, and followed Lyod as he walked away. Another thing to do already? We're having a busy night. He thought to himself. Of course, he didn't really have to work with them, but it was easier to do.

" If you want more to eat you should come." Lyod replied to Yume. Lyod let out a yawn as he continued to pad off. " The hunt should be just a slight challenge Yume, it may be enough to ease your bordom." He let her know.

Yume smirked as best as she could, "Fine. This next prey should be fun." she said padding after Lyod. Yume wasn't one to rush things, she had a layed back personality and knew when it was time to step up. Although that was when she was still alive now it was like she was always board or had a bad attitude in life.

"Any information on our next target or are you going to leave this open-ended?" Roy sarcastically remarked to Lyod as he continued to pad off with the other two. He always wanted to know what exactly they were going to deal with before attacking, just to try and avoid any injuries.

Lyod yawned it was an akward thing for him to do he normally held a high level of concentration and it was nearly impossible to break him out of it. But the yawn had somehow done it and Lyod didn't like that too much. " He lives in that house there the job it'll be done in a second if he's no-" Lyod stopped and sniffed something was off. He growled and started barreling towards the house at top speed.

Yume listened to her leader but when he stopped as he sniffed the air he han towards the house. Yume quickly sniffed the air and her fur stood on end, she wasn't sure what it was but she chased after Lyod.

Roy stopped after Lyod did, a bit annoyed at the constant stopping and going with no consistent pace. Of course, then Yume and Lyod started to run towards the random house at full speed. "Just can't catch a break..." He muttered, and dashed after the other two.

Lyod didn't waste time going around to the door or anything he took off and jumped breaking threw a window the shattered glass sprinkling into the living room of the house. Lyod following his nose made his way to the bed room. He slowed now and getting onto the bed it was obvious what he though the entire bed sheet was painted scarlet in blood. " Our prey was taken." He said simply turning to the door where he knew Roy and Yuma would enter.

Yume leapt through the window. Now she knew what that smell was, it was blood. She slowed her pace and walked upstairs, when she was the red sheets and Lyod was standing there as he said that thier prey was taken. She grined in a creepy way. "Now this is a challange."

Following the two in through the window, Roy walked around the room more, trying to check for any trails of blood that could show where the body went. "Things are about to get a bit more interesting, huh?" He asked, sounding more amused then worried.

Lyod growled slightly under his breath Roy's tone irked him. He wasn't sure weather or not to take this seriously. Investigating the body he could tell this had not been the work of someone like them. There were lashiacations all down the body. The cuts when up down, sideways diagonal even swirly at some points. Looking at it in it's entirety Lyod knew one thing human sure had a lot of blood in their body. " At dawn we hunt new prey." Lyod announced. " There is nothing more to be done tonight we meet here again at dawn." He informed the other two.

Yume sighed, she was going to have to wait all day till they could find a new prey. Looking out the window and saw the sky was getting lighter. She slowly started to change back into her human form. She wore a black cloak(Much like Organization 13) and dark blue jeans. "Well It seem's we got nothing better to do till night come's. Why not go our seporate way's and meet somewhere?" she asked Lyod.

Roy also felt himself shift back to a human, wearing some jean shorts and a gray t-shirt. He looked at the other two and shrugged. "I don't know what you do with your free time, but unless it's interesting enough I'll pass." He answered.
