Jake decided to go the new dungeon that was discovered recently and see if he can find any items. He was walking through it when he heard a noise in the water, but ignored it. He kept walking until he heard the noise again. "Hello? Anyone there?" He called out.

A Buizel popped out of the water. He fell in after some kid from Rainfront town decided to push him in. "Ah, you must be a friendly pokemon, I say that due to the fact the ones who attack others are mute for some reason... Never understood that." George got out of the water and stood up. "I'm George. To be honest, I wasn't expecting a Tepig to be seen in Cattail Marsh. It doesn't happen too much..."

"Well, I'm actually just looking for items. I came from the Grassveil Guild." Jake said. "And you must be friendly, too. Because a, you talked, and b, you didn't attack me."

"Well to be honest, I could've still attacked, I may just be getting on your good side, then backstabbing you and taking your loot." George said nodding towards the tepig's bag. "At least that's what a majority of some of the outlaws on this continent would do." George looked around, it was a bit foggy around Cattail Marsh today. Which could be a good thing or a bad thing. "Well, looking at the good and bad of being here today, the fog could allow someone to sneak up on someone else. Or even let someone 'Stray' away and return to steal items." George said, referencing how one would've gone about stealing loot in this area. "However, I personally wouldn't do that. Just a good idea to tell others what to be careful of. Else they may get their stuff stolen and it makes more effort for Guild members like us."

"You're a Guild member too?" Jake asked. "I've met quite a few Guild members. One of them even got me inspired to get this!" He said, pointing to his Joy Ribbon on his wrist.

"Ah A Joy Ribbon..." George said studying the ribbon. He only saw a few of those, mostly on the guild members he may see around the guild when he walks around there. "Those are quite Rare." It's so rare it's like people hack it in George stopped looking at the ribbon. He did find it interesting how a ribbon could cause enough joy to give the wearer more strength... Must be a psychological thing. George looked around to see that not many pokemon were visiting the place. "Odd, usually you see many more Pokemon from rainfront town walking around the entrance to just look at the Marsh. Maybe it's too foggy, they must've decided to not let in anyone incapable of fighting well due to the fact a pokemon could use the fog as cover to attack."

"I know they're quite rare.  I guess I'm just lucky."  Jake said, still walking along the path.  "And I just came in through a path the just randomly got me here.  I also have great hearing, so this fog doesn't do much."  Jake suddenly perked up his ears.  "I think there's someone close by."

George could make out the shape of one pokemon, he looked around to see another shape of one. He waited until they got a bit closer. It'd be highly unlikely to see three friendly pokemon in one day, but it could happen, at least George himself won't ever doubt it in case it does happen. As the pokemon got closer he saw one wa croagunk and another a corphish. He hesitated a second to see if they would say anything. Maybe even let them get the first move. Countering is always a good idea.

Jake looked at the two Pokemon.  The Croagunk used Poison Sting on Jake, but he dodged, and then used Magnitude on it, dealing a lot of damage.  "Can you get the Corphish?  I'm a little busy here."  Jake said, dodging a Mud-Slap.

"Well Leaving the water type to fight the water type is a bit odd. However I guess you are a Fire type so I'll fight it." George said focusing more on the corphish. He waited to see what the corphish was going to do. He hoped he may be able to pull of a focus punch for a lot of damage, but he couldn't risk the chance of the corphish being able to get a good accurate shot on him while he's focusing. While thinking, the corphish used bubble. Bubble? But I'm a water type also. Why would he use a water type on another water type? George dodged between the bubbles and used a brick break on the corphish. It seemed to at least catch the pokemon unexpected, but the Corphish easily got back into a fighting mood.

Jake then used Ember on the Croagunk, doing a lot of damage, but not knocking it out.  "Man, why do they have to be so tough?"  Jake said aloud, using Magnitude again, and dodging a Poison Sting.  "You need some help?"  He asked.  "I just realized something.  We haven't even introduced ourselves formally"

"Well, I'd say neither of us have-" George got cut off after being hit with a ViceGrip. He got back up, and attacked with another brick break. " As I was saying, no time for a formal introduction. Also, I don't need any help." George said looking at the corphish the entire time, having an eye on your enemy at all times is key.

"OK, then."  Jake said.  "I'll just eat my Green Gummi, I guess."  He then went into his bag and pulled out a Green Gummi, and ate it quickly.  "I rather like Red Gummis, but oh well."  He looked around, didn't see any item, and looked through his bag.  "I'm gonna use my TM Rock Tomb."  Jake said, grabbing it out of his bag.  He used it rapidly, and lost Tail Whip.

George wondered why in the world Jake was using his items in the middle of a battle, It'd be different if they were items helpful to battling But these were just a gummi and a TM. Throughout the entire time the croagunk could've easily gotten Jake. No, gotta get my mind back on track. He used another brick break to try and push the corphish into the water, right as George was going to hit the corphish, it used harden to help defend itself. George figured it might try to use Harden again as it was swimming back to the shore of the marsh. That'd be extremely helpful if it did.

Jake then used his new move on the Croagunk, slowing it down. "I'm gonna love this move." He said, getting hit by a Mud-Slap. "I really need to pay more attention." The Tepig said, think of a way to knock out the seemingly unstoppable Croagunk. Jake looked around, saw a tree, and lured the Croagunk to it by using taunts (not the move). "You can't catch my, you overgrown toad!" He called out, running to the tree. Once the Croagunk got close enough, Jake used Magnitude to knock the tree over. It fell on the Fighting-Poison type Pokemon, knocking it out from the sheer force of gravity acting on the tree.
