Worrysome Trio of Fighters

It was just a day like any other in the depths of the Pecha Forest adjacent to Grassveil Town.
As he had done so many times before, the shadowy figure of William the Gengar was silently wandering inbetween the trees, reminiscing about what had been.
So many memories of his were connected to this place.
Painful memories, but memories nonetheless. And he would have to deal with them at some point in time anyway. Would his hut still be there? Of course it would. But would he really want to visit it now?
For now the Ghost type decided against it, instead continuing his journey through the various plants of the forest.
While he didn't really watch, where he was going, it did not matter much, as he was able to simply walk through any obstacle in his way.
But what he didn't know, was that he would face the biggest obstacle possible today - social interaction with other Pokémon.

Rusty was looking at his jet-black paws as he was walking through the forest, his fur nice and groomed and he had just eaten his fill, so he was all good for now. Until he got hungry again, of course.
The poocheyn didn't even pay attention to the pokemon he thought he heard, but decided against it, but he accidently bumped into him, losing his focus and realized it was a gengar. "I... I uhhh..." Rusty stammered as he tried to apologize.

Kari decided that today might be an okay day for a walk through Pecha Forest he usually doesn't come around this way very often. Not vary far from him he heard some footsteps an being in the very curious mood he was in he decided "Why not lets see what that was", And he took off.

Not having noticed the Dark type in his path, William bumped into the canine, letting out a small yelp in surprise as he leaped back and prepared for battle.
However the Ghost type quickly lowered his fighting stance again as he realized, that the little Pokémon in front of him would likely not pose much of a threat to him.
But still, the Poochyenna's presence in these parts of the forest was a strange occurrence. This area was far too dangerous for a normal Pokémon to traverse, so the concerned Poison type found himself asking:
"Uh...and what exactly are you doing here? You know, that it's not very safe, don't you?"

Rusty narrowed his eyes at the gengar a bit of anger starting to light in his eyes. "I can take care of myself, ya'know," he retorted crossly. "I've been in this forest longer than you could guess."

The small Dark type's retort amused the Gengar, had he lived here for so much longer than most normal beings could imagine after all.
"Oh, you have?", he asked sarcastically.
"And for how long if I may ask? A week? A month? A year? I've lived here for longer than you could imagine. It would be about 278 years in your world's time I guess. Time does not flow in the Ghost World as it does here, so there might be some discrepancies, but trust me. I am much more experienced than you, and I am fairly certain, that it is not safe for you here."
Interested in getting to see the Poochyenna's reaction, the Gengar waited for him to respond.
Would he be surprised? Scared? Confused? Angry?
Hopefully he would be smart enough to leave now.
