She was a bit worried about Aaron. After what happened last time, the last thing she wanted was to come to this place. However, she needed some place quite to think. Besides, she was strong enough at this point to handle herself in a fight. Anyway, this Darkness was controlling him, and HARD. She hoped that Joey has gotten her message. She needed all the help she could get if they wanted to go save him. He has gotten a lot more clingy and aggressive than normal, which isn't a good thing. All the things he did for her? Helping her get those Gummis? Helping her get stronger? The Sylveon love him, and she will PROVE IT. "Damn darkness, if this thing never existed, we never would have to deal with this in the first place." She didn't like this at all, but she has an idea on what she could do. How will Aaron would react will remain a mystery until she does it.
Alona continued to lay next to the pond. her favorite resting spot, if it weren't for the fact that it was getting more dangerous and dangerous lately. So many Pokemon has been infected by this, it wasn't even funny. It was some kind of a possession, Aaron wouldn't off acted like that if it wasn't, it just gotta be. It must of telling him all the wrong things! At this point, she hoped everything goes well with the Deino.

| Hidon continued staring at Alona, not seeming to take any kind of notice to the shift from her seemingly-bright smile to the frown. As it was, he was completely entranced by the rest of her...and by those ribbons that were curled all around him. He only had to wait for her to respond to his fears. He just hoped that his fears weren't going to get in-between them somehow. But soon enough, good news reached his senses. His smile brightened with the Sylveon's ribbons moved from most of his body toward his head, holding it as if they were already embracing each other's warmth. "Y-yes?" Hidon quickly said, immediately paying attention and hanging onto her every word at that point. And then, a moment later, his heart skipped a couple of beats and seemed to fly straight up into his throat. Th-the Sylveon had actually just agreed to kiss him!
For a moment, he wasn't even able to get any more words out. But before long, he quickly swallowed the lump in his throat and smiled at her. "Y-yes, of course my lady. A-anything you want me to vow. Just name it and I'll do it." He was starting to get excited now...although he still had no idea that she was now doing this to make him feel better.

| Alona sighed, her breath reaching the Fire type's face. She knew this would be for the best, but she still couldn't believe she was going to kiss this idiot. "Vow to him that you won't let your fears get the best of you. Vow to him that no matter what happens, no matter how bad someone insult your dad, insult your abilities, you use that as a motivation to get even stronger. Don't get offended by anyone who say you are weak. Again, use it as a motivator. Do you understand me? Vow to him now, and then just kiss me." She almost felt the urge to vomit! She blamed herself for this, and that damn Pikachu too! It was because of him she was being nicer. It felt nice, and yet confusing at the same time. It wasn't even in her nature to do such things until the rodent told her that sob story. Why was she even doing this, wasn't this consider cheating? She was with Aaron after all! In fact, how did trying to manipulate his heart turn into a quick romance? At this point she just wanted to get it over with.
"Just vow to him, and get your kiss. You don't want to disappoint your father, do you? You wouldn't want me to be disappointed?" This darkness crap was getting old, REALLY old.

| Hidon's legs wobbled slightly as the Fairy Pokémon's breath actually met on his face. He could hardly contain himself...this was just too much for him! He couldn't believe what was about to happen with this. But then...what the Sylveon said next caught him by surprise. Even in his current state of mind, he gave her a funny look as she explained what she wanted him to vow. At first, he wasn't sure what to say. But after a moment, his look of confusion turned into one that was actually somewhat similar to that look of cocky overconfidence that he had been sporting when the two of them had first met. He no longer sported that goofy, lovesick-looking expression. "Heheh...man, you know, you maybe worry a little too much," he replied smugly, looking even prouder than he had moments ago, if that were possible. "Like I'm going to let my fears get the best of me. Ha!"
He let out a loud laugh at the idea, almost as though it were nonsensical. "Sure, maybe I'll get offended and maybe they'll SERIOUSLY tick me off. But if I can't do anything about it, then I deserve it. I'll just get stronger and prove to them that I'm not weak next time. I don't care how much they humiliate me...I'll just get back at them by beating them next time." He chuckled at that, though even he knew that it wasn't the complete truth. There was a level of humiliation where he'd just sit there and take it. But he doubted that it would be such a big deal for long. "I don't need to vow to my dad about something like that. He already taught me that never giving up on my quest to be the best is the most important thing!"
At that point, his lovestruck grin returned to him. "B-but if you want me to do it for that kiss, I'll do it anyway in a heartbeat for you, my Lady!"

| Once she saw that overconfidence look on his face, she couldn't help but facepalm mentally. All of this was a game to him! He doesn't even realize that the darkness could use his fears against him. That is what the darkness was doing with Aaron, that is what this Darkness was doing to every Pokemon out there, and yet here he was not even considering the issue, and thinking that getting stronger will solve it! He makes her blood boil so much! However, when he went back to his lovestruck state, Alona only sighed again. A promise was a promise. He made the vow, so she can't exactly backed out now. But that doesn't mean she wasn't going to speak her mind about his fears. "You idiot, you don't even realize the how bad situation, do you? This darkness, this thing that's infecting Pokemons? It feeds into their fears. I'm trying to help you so you don't become one of them! Do you hear me? This isn't something to Joke about! A Deino has a fear similar to yours and look what happened to him!" Immediately after her scolding, her ribbons forces the fire type's lips on hers, and they kissed.
Was it a minute, or was it two? She lost count, but she hated every last second of it. Finally, she lets go, a scowl appeared on her face. "Don't you dare speak about this to ANYONE! Not even Aaron. Do you understand me? And if I find out that you were infected by this darkness SO HELP ME!" The taste on her lips was unbearable! She couldn't believe she has did that. Worse of all, she felt like she betrayed Aaron.

| Hidon couldn't help but give the Sylveon another questioning look as she called him an idiot and began talking down to him about this strange darkness he'd been seeing all over the place as of late. Honestly, the only thing he'd ever noticed about the darkness that was currently infecting the world was that it was turning innocent Pokémon bad and making the feral Pokémon even stronger and more dangerous than they were before. And to him, that wasn't such a big deal. But now, Alona was claiming that the darnes used fear to somehow control them? Well, he certainly wasn't about to doubt this lovely lady, but...well, for now, he would just have to make sure it didn't happen to him. After all, he didn't want to leave this lady without a-
Wait, what was that about a Deino?
And then there it was. The moment he'd been waiting all this time for, which drove his question about the Dragon Pokémon completely out of his mind. The Sylveon, finally unable to hold herself back from it anymore, pulled him in for the embrace. Their lips met and Hidon, who'd never kissed anybody before, wasn't sure what exactly he was supposed to do. But he quickly learned by copying what she seemed to be doing to him. He did not, however, wrap his arms around her. With the exception of his head, his entire body seemed to shut down for the moment. The seconds turned into minutes much more quickly than the Charmander appreciated. And eventually, the Sylveon reeased him and pulled her ribbons back.
The Charmander only vaguely made out the Sylveon's words from there. In his mind, he was too busy watching the fireworks go off, and his goofy grin only grew wider. After a moment, he actually ended up falling over backward, ending up on his back at her feet. His body had momentarily given out on him after having shut down in shock during the kiss. "D-don't worry about a thing," he said in a tone that betrayed how lovestruck he actually was. "I'll do anything you want me to, My Lady. I'll tell you about my other fear of Bug and snake Pokémon. I mean...anything I do for you will always be worth it, m-my lady." He certainly didn't seem to catch the familiar name drop.

| Astounding, simply astounding. The way he had that dreamy look on his face, falling backwards at her feet? He was clearly enjoying the fact that he was kissed more than he cared about what she had to say. She started to question the intelligence of this Pokemon. Then again, he was under the affect of Cute Charm, so something like this should be expected. Nevertheless, she KISSED HIM! And it made her extremely angry. At this point, she didn't want him to do whatever she wanted him to do! She was going to be blunt, and tell him straight up how she really feels. Alona walked over to the Charmander, stomping on his stomach in pure disgust. "No you won't, and you wanna know why? I don't love you. The only reason why I kissed you was because I wanted to help protect your sorry butt from this darkness, but to be honest? You're so idiotic that even the darkness wants nothing to do with you! Let me tell you now, I'm with Aaron. A Deino who is much better than you'll EVER BE! We're going to be together, from beginning, to end. He needs my help and I can't waste time with someone like you!"
Alona gasp for air after that ear blistering rant. Hopefully, this will break the infatuated effect. "I hope you liked your kiss, that's the last one you are getting from me, EVER!"

| Hidon remained motionless on the ground for a short while, simply looking upward and staring at the Sylveon's beautiful face. Alona was such a lovable Pokémon, he just couldn't help himself! He didn't even seem to notice that the Sylveon's expression appeared to be growing angrier and angrier the longer he remained in his love drunken stupor. And when she finally stepped up to him, glaring down at him, he fully expected her to step over him and continue the embrace. Maybe if he was lucky enough, she would even grace him with another coveted kiss! After all, she probably found his behavior rather cute. That's how girls like her thought, right? And so, he braced himself, ready for whatever the Sylveon might want to do next, or might want him to say.
These silly thoughts and high expectations were what made the following events even more jarring for the Charmander. The Sylveon's paw was raised into the air before slamming down powerfully into the pit of his stomach. "URGHK!" he coughed, body convulsing slightly from the completely unexpected, ferocious move. He coughed again, instinctively reaching his arms upward to clutch the spot where he'd been stomped, only to be blocked by the Sylveon's foot, which was still planted on him. In addition, his body had instinctively tried to curl up to relieve the pain, but her paw stopped him from moving properly as well. In the end, he ended up being flat on his back again, claws on his stomach beside Alona's foot.
And then there was the earful he received after that. His eyes widened slightly at her words, almost as though they were completely unexpected. But then, after she was finally finished speaking and he had had to stop and get her breath back, his eyes narrowed slightly. His lovestruck expression became one of anger, and the harsh blush returned to his face. But this time, it was as the memories of everything he'd said and done suddenly washed over him again while reality slapped him powerfully in his face. He didn't know what had happened to make him like that, but he was not happy about it.
This time, her talk about Aaron made sense to him and he actually picked up on that. The form of that Deino that had "beaten" him back in that forest was pictured in his mind. But most surprisingly, she had mentioned something about him needing her help...?
Of course, none of that mattered to the Charmander at this point. Not in his anger-clouded state. Now that his breath had returned, he finally made his move. he raised his arm and attempted to slash his claws upward, trying to Scratch Alona and force her to get off of him. He knew what she must have done...and that humiliating thought was not going to go away anytime soon. She was as good as done as things stood right now!

| The Sylveon continued her glare at the fire type, making sure she was made clear. Oh, she was clear alright, however, Hidon's reaction wasn't the reaction she was looking for. He blushes even deeper, but not because of love. Instead, his face turned into a Scowl. Alona didn't really caught on to his anger, she was too furious herself to notice. And that was when all hell broke loose. The Charmander raised his arm and slashed his claws across Alona's cheeks. With a cry of pain, she staggered backwards while she covered her wounds with her feelers. Her perception of time stopped; her face suddenly stoic. She brought her ribbons she used to cover her wounds to her face to see blood on it. Then she suddenly exploded, and her perception of time resumed. cursing every single vulgar words she could find imaginable to insult the Fire type.
This time, it was ON! Without any warning, she darted towards Hidon with fire in her eyes, kicking the dirt from the ground and tossing it at Charmander's face.

| "Hmph," Hidon grumbled, rising to his feet as soon as the Sylveon's paw was lifted from his stomach. He reached down to his body and started to dust himself off, his blush still present. He couldn't believe he had fallen for her like that and obeyed her every command. On top of that, the two of them had kissed! A Pokémon like her! Sure, she was cute and all, but after all of that, the sheer thought made him sick to his stomach. He let out a loud cough and then spit downward at the ground to his right. He couldn't believe this. Well, one thing was for sure. He was going to enjoy teaching this Sylveon a lesson she won't soon forget about making a fool out of him!
...Unfortunately for him, by the time he had begun paying attention to the Sylveon's movements again, she had already turned somewhat stoic for a moment, an expression he was rather surprised to see. But just a moment later, she was gone. The Charmander' eyes widened when the Sylveon suddenly rushed him again, a barrage of vulgar words and insults getting lobbed in his direction. Of course, he didn't care about the verbal assault in the slightest. But the fact that they were coming out of a Sylveon's mouth of all Pokémon was still very disorienting to say the least. He was so caught off-guard by her vulgarity that he wasn't paying close enough attention to her movements.
When Alona drove her paw through the dirt and kicked it at him, he didn't react in time. The dirt splatted mightily against his face, obscuring his vision. "Grah!" he exclaimed in surprise, stumbling backward a step or two. He began to rub at his face, trying to clear his vision and get the dirt out of his eyes.

| Taking advantage of the situation, Alona stopped her movement and stood her grounds. She then moved her Ribbons back and relentlessly flapped them over and over, sending her sparkling winds towards the very Pokemon who made her snap. At this point, she lost her reasonable thoughts. The only thing she could think of right now is to force this Pokemon to submit! She was trying to be helpful, trying to be nice! She tried to protect him from the darkness, and she even KISSED him! But yet this Pokemon had been so selfish, so egotistic that she HOPED that this darkness rip those traits right out of his skull!
"There are Pokemon who are suffering out there, but you're so SELFISH, that you don't even care!" Alona shrilled. She wasn't going to let up with her move, why should she? She was going to make sure he understood everything she told him. "You only care about your damn ego! 'Oh, I want to get stronger if I'm not, I'll shame my father.' Give me a BREAK! Are you seriously telling me that your father wanted you to ignore everyone who desperately needed help, just to get stronger? Then congratulations, you already shamed your father." At that moment, she stopped flapping her Ribbons. She figured that he would still be standing after that. Not only could he resist her attack, her attack isn't that strong on its own.

| Hidon simply stood there, still rubbing his eyes and trying to clear his vision. He was certainly not afraid to extend his claws slightly and scratch the outside of his eyes, hoping to clear it off more quickly that way. And finally, he managed to get enough of that gunk off of his body that he could now at least open his eyes again, although he had to squint slightly to avoid them stinging. However, the first sight he saw was not a pleasant one. His eyes widened slightly when he saw the Sylveon's ribbons being pulled backward...and then they were brought forward before he could even react. The next moment, the familiar glittering wind was unleashed. It struck his body just as it had before. Thankfully, he resisted the attack or it probably would have blown him off of his feet.
He raised his arms, desperately trying to block the brunt of the attack. The damage might be minimal, but it was successfully holding him back and it was still inflicting some continuous pain. He shielded his head as best he could, but even he had to take a step backward in order to give himself better footing to stop himself from being forced back. But the Sylveon's voice carried with her Fairy Wind well enough, and the accusations she threw at him only made him angrier. So finally, when the wind died down and he stopped her attack, he was ready for his response. He stumbled backward slightly, finally letting his guard drop. Just as Alona expected, he had not fallen. But it still looked like it had done some decent damage in the end.
Hidon growled, curling the claws in his left arm into a fist before raising his right to point at her. "Oh just shut up, would you!?" he growled right back at her. "You don't know anything about me! Who the hell said anything about me ignoring Pokémon who needed help, huh!? Of course I want to get stronger for my dad! But he's not the only reason, you stupid fairy!" In his anger, he had already allowed himself to build up the aura surrounding his body. He clenched his right arm into a fist as well, allowing the bluish aura to form around it, taking on a somewhat draconic appearance. He then rushed forward, hoping to drive his special Dragon Rush punch attack as powerfully against the left side of the Sylveon's face as his limited muscle would allow. Even if she managed to avoid the direct punch, the draconic aura would be more difficult to evade.
...Of course, in his angry state of mind, he had completely failed to take into account the fact that she was a Fairy-type Pokémon, which was actually completely immune to his Dragon-type energy. He had never dealt with a Fairy before, so the fact that he was acting on his instinct alone in this case was probably going to make it easier for Alona.

| Alona felt rather limp. Using all those fairy winds most of taken most of her strength away. Regardless, he heard Hidon's response, and she sigh in defeat. He clearly wasn't going to learn, not unless fate decides to make his life a living hell just to do so. However, before she could do anything, she noticed a draconic looking energy. Draconic? Maybe he didn't know about her immunity to dragon types attack, though it doesn't matter. She was going to say her last statement and walk away. The Charmander charge at the Sylveon, his fist formed into a dragon like appearance. When it connected, Alona was silent, unfazed by the attack. "Hey, didn't get the memo? Fairy types are immune to Dragon types attack."
Alona backed off and walk past the Charmander, stopping at his side. "You wanna prove to me that you can help Pokemon? Go back to the guild and go see a Deino named Aaron. He's one of the Pokemon who's suffering. If you can help ease his suffering, then I'll change my opinion about you and take everything I've said back."

| Hidon growled as he slammed his Dragon Rush attack as powerfully as he could against Alona's face...but he quickly realized that she had failed to take any damage from the impact. His eyes widened with shock when she just stood there and took his punch without even flinching. "Wh-what the...?" he started, but he quickly realized his own mistake, even as Alona began to explain it to him. Of course, having a Dragon-type father that had taught him to use this move in the first place, he knew of a Fairy-type Pokémon's immunity to Dragon-type attacks. He had just been so enraged at that point that he hadn't stopped to consider what he was actually doing and who his target actually was. He cursed under his breath as he pulled back his fist. He was ready to go again, but stopped when the Sylveon backed away.
A moment later, the Fairy-type Pokémon stopped beside him and he turned to look at her. He scowled for a moment. Who did this stupid Fairy think she was? Why should he have to prove anything to her? He knew what he was all about and didn't need some fox to approve of him. But then she dropped that all-too-familiar name...and with the species to confirm it. He couldn't believe that he had almost forgot about her mentioning him before, thanks to his anger. His eyes widened slightly and his anger disappeared almost immediately at her words, though. "W-wait, you said 'Aaron?'" he asked. "You mean that Dragon Pokémon that claimed to have beaten me...? What d'you mean he's 'suffering?' What happened to him?"

| Alona raised an Eyebrow when the Charmander claimed that he knew the one she's talking about. Wait, was he the idiot Aaron told her about? The one who rushed into battle without any thought whatsoever? At least, that's what he told her anyway. Regardless, this might work after all. A rivalry usually makes them friends, right? "Yeah, that Aaron. He needs your help... Whoever you are. He needs all the support he can so he doesn't succumb. Aaron is scared, paranoid more like it. He doesn't want to lose us because he depends on us. His greatest fear is being useless, and that's his trigger." She didn't want to say more. She was already pushing it by telling Hidon about Aaron's problem. Hoever, she was getting desperate at this point. "Look, when I... K.I.S.S.E.D. You, I thought I was killing two birds with one stone. I can help you with whatever problems what you have, and I can get you to help me with Aaron. We won't do that... thing again, I assure you, and I'll hunt you down if you mention this to ANYONE! Especially Aaron.... The thing is, I do need your help."
Alona extends her paws towards the fire type, smiling innocently with that Sylveon's signature smile. "So, what do you say? Can you do this for your rival?"

| Hidon was silent as he listened to Alona speak. For the first time in a long while, he was completely attentive to another Pokémon, not failing to miss a single moment of the conversation. As she spoke, he quickly recalled prior events that had taken place in the Shadowhue Forest. And about their struggles...and about how he had just left the Deino there after the two of them had struggled so desperately to get out of that forest still in one piece. The only reason they had been able to succeed was because they'd been lucky enough to find a Flabébé that could help them. That wasn't one of the reasons the Deino was so afraid of being useless...was it? Was Aaron suffering because neither of them had been strong enough to help the other out when they needed it the most? He looked down at his claw for a moment, instinctively clenching it. Well...if that was the problem, then he would have to fix it as soon as he could.
When Alona mentioned the kiss, he suddenly blushed again and grumbled, turning his head away. "L-look," he growled at her. "Th-the only reason I wanted to kiss you was because you had me under that stupid spell of yours or whatever. I promise you that I don't want another one, and I don't have any plans to let that slip to anyone either. I mean, geez...if Pilot ever found out that I was like that...." He shuddered slightly. That blasted Taillow would never let him live it down.
Finally, Hidon let out a small sigh. "Look. I don't need help right now. I'm fine," he said. "I don't need you helping me with anything. But...." He then looked down at her paw as she had held it out. He followed the paw back up her body and back up to her face, looking at that bright, smiling expression. The look forced him to blush again, slightly deeper than the last, and he quickly averted his gaze. "...But fine. I'll do it. But only 'cause I want to help Aaron." He hesitantly reached out and grasped her paw, giving it a firm shake. "...Just...just quit smiling at me like that!" he snapped at her, pulling his claw back again. "I don't like you, got it!?"
