First topic message reminder :

It was another day in Brian's life and he was about to travel into a new location. However, out of all the places he had traveled to in his journeys, this one was definitely the most foreign. Brian was used to seeing a normal woods, with the large trees, warm weather, uncountable bushes, and the sunlight piercing through the leaves. They were generally bland areas, but still nice nonetheless. The Icicle Woods were nowhere near this vision of a normal woods whatsoever.

The woods were freezing compared to any other area he's been to, though being a fire type and having a Defense Scarf around his neck made this less of an issue. All of the ground and even plant life was covered in snow, something that Brian had almost never been exposed to before. He had never been in a location where snowing was a normality, but as with most things it peaked his curiosity. Touching a little bit of it with his hand, Brian felt that it wasn't as soft as it looked. The snow simply blew off in the cold winds, leaving his hand feeling wet. Disappoint, but not discouraging. As Brian walked on into the woods, he wondered what he would find in this new, interesting location.

If only William had allowed for himself to rest here, then maybe a catastrophe could have been averted at a later time. But since he had no knowledge of this event just yet and his pride and sense of responsibility had gotten the better of him, the Gengar just kept on fighting, determined to prove that he still was in peak physical condition. Nothing was allowed to hurt him - least of all some pathetic illness.
In his fighting trance the Ghost type had not even noticed that he wasn't fighting the Cryogonal anymore but a Pilloswine rather. It didn't matter anyway. It was just another enemy in need of being defeated.

After another Fire Punch, the snowflake Pokemon had been defeated, lying on the snow covered floor unconscious. Now there was only one last Pokemon to take care off. Brian saw William going against it and felt that in his state, going it alone might not be the best option. So he hurried over to the two and used his Ember to push back the brown furred Pokemon.

"Get away from my friend, you beast!" Brian shouted before leaping towards the Pokemon and thrusting his burning fist at it for one last Fire Punch. The force of the blow send it back onto the ground, unconscious like the others. With that, the battle was over. He the quickly rushed back over to William to make sure he was okay. "Alright, those guys are down and I don't see anymore around here, but we should probably leave before more of them show up." Brian said, knowing that neither of them had the energy to battle much longer. Before heading off, he took out what looked like a piece of Candy and handed it to the Ghost type. "Here, take this. Think of it as a thank you for helping me out earlier. Hopefully we'll see each other again sometime. Later." Brian said before running off, hoping that William would be able to get back to his home safely. He was certainly an interesting individual, and Brian didn't regret meeting him one bit.

William didn't even have the time to thank the Fire type for this unexpected gift. Or maybe he had had the time but didn't notice. His head was feeling heavy.
Why was the Fire type this grateful? He had just been doing a bit of fighting as usual.
In any case - as much as he hated to admit it - he should be heading home.
The cold was getting rather unpleasant, turning the Gengar into an even bluer shade than the one he naturally was coloured in.
Hoping to be able to avoid any further confrontations, a sneezing William slowly dragged himself back to the guild.
