Snake² - Page 3 Empty
PostSubject: Snake²   Snake² - Page 3 EmptyFri Jul 25, 2014 1:48 am

First topic message reminder :

All these Pokémon in Grassveil town were crazy.
And most noteworthy of all was this rude, inconsiderate Ekans of all things.
Snake needed some time alone to cool down, before he would do something...unwise.
Well, as alone as they could be at least.
And so it happened, that, to further extend his collection and to continue on his search for the elusive Leaf Stone, this Grass type went to travel to faraway lands, over the Black Spear Mountain Rage and up to Blackmist Mountain.
It may be difficult to move up hills and mountains for almost perfectly spherical beings, but at least he got some exercise out of this. The sky was dark as if awaiting an impending rainstorm and the black stone beneath his...beneath him was cold. It was a miracle how any Pokémon could even live here.
At least that Pokémon wasn't here.

"A Tyranitar...", the group of Pokémon thought out loud.
"Tyranitar are Ground type and we are of the Grass type, so we should have an advantage. But then again they also have the Dary type while we have Psychic. An even matchup. We might have a chance taking it on. But you have made your choice, so I guess we'll follow."
Actually the Exeggcute were scared out of their minds, not knowing a single Grass type attack, but obviously they couldn't just admit that to the Ekans. They just weren't allowed to appear as weak. What should the others think if they got to know that Snake would just run away from a feral Pokémon? One he theoretically had a partial type advantage over even.

Silverdawn was completely unaware of her companions hidden fears, and if she had known, she wouldn't have thought much of them. To her, fear was a useful tool. If one was afraid, one's senses were heightened and one could do many things that when one wasn't fearful, one would never think of doing or be able to do. Silverdawn slithered into the cave, using her senses of touch and scent rather than her echolocation, not wanting to alert any pokemon of their location, in case there were any pokemon waiting in ambush for them.

Luckily the Exeggcute had their special bond of Telepathy between them to keep them connected as otherwise they would certainly have lost each other in the dark, damp and dreary confines of this cave. Equally luckily their shells weren'tas fragile as they appeared to me. If they were, they would certainly have cracked or broken even from the amount of times the six of them crashed into walls.
As Grass types they preferred a much more tropical climate with lots of sunlight.
Equally bad their eyesight did when forced into the darkness of the cave.
At least they would be safe from their adversary here. Hopefully.

Silverdawn made her way through the small tunnel, which soon opened into a larger cavern. She used her senses to sense vibrations in the earth rather than using her echolocation, lest the strange echoey sounds made by caves would confuse her. She was able to tell where she was going, but it did not prevent her from stepping on a trap! She gave a cry of surprise as she felt the world twist around her and then she was suddenly in the middle of a grassy field, far from any cave or mountain! She hissed in surprise, wondering where on earth the warp trap had deposited her.

The Exeggcute's twelve eyes widened in surprise as suddenly the Ekans was there no more.
Whatever had happened, the Grass type now was alone. Well, as alone as six Pokémon could get.
It meant they were without protection. It also meant they had noone left to impress. Noone left to witness their actions. So with this dangerous creature on the loose somewhere in the area they could very well just roll back to Grassveil Town and claim to have defeated the beast. It's not as if anyone would go back and check anyway.
And so, much more quietly than they had come, the Psychic types left the mountain again, heading for safer terrain.
