| The sun was high, sorren covered his face with his arm, as he learned that claws didn't do much to stop sunlight ans were also not a very good idea to keep them that close to his face.
"Alright the carpenter is just around the corner. Once I place the order We can head off to our next stop, We're going to be buying writing materials. a lot. I need to learn how to write. also some field journals. Want to start keeping track of where we've been and what we've seen. then the next stop is the book store." Sorren said walking forward into the main street of Grassveil.
Sorren and chie had set out today to do a few errands to get them ready as a team. Sorren also planned on doing some browsing here and there, maybe find a puzzle or something he could use to practice with his hands.

| "Very well then, chief", Chie responded, following close behind the Fire type. Even though her spectral hands would probably have offered better protection from the sun's blinding rays than Sorren's claws could, she was not able to protect herself from the blazing light, her hands and her attention occupied by the list she was writing while walking. They wouldn't want to miss any errands and have to come back later after all. The sound of a quill scratching across a pergament could be heard faintly, even though it was mostly drowned out by the other sounds emanating from the bustling marketplace. It was not Chie's favourite place to be, at least not with so many other other Pokémon around, but she would have to get used to it. She was a member of a Rescue Team now after all. What would the others think if she couldn't even be out in the open? With an almost inaudible sigh she continued to float after the Fire type. | |

| Sorren walked in to the workshop. the smell of sawdust thick in the air. Half finished products of wood and fabric lay across the floor. A bisharp was cutting a peice of lumber with a saw, careful not to let his blades nic the wood.
Sorren breathed a sigh of relief as they entered the shade of the workshop. He waited until the Carpenter noticed him before talking. he was about to say something when the bisharp cut him off.
"You, don't even sneeze! I want no fire! I haven't swept in here and one spark and this whole place could go up! Tell me what you need and get out!" She said, crossing her arms.
"Uh right, sorry. I would like to fill out an order for a table, a desk, three chairs and a bookshelf." Sorren said, turning to Chie. "Anything else you think we need?"
Sorren took a few steps back, giving the Bisharp some space. He tugged at his scarf, loosening it a bit. He was not ready for this kind of attitude. She probably had one too many accidents involving fire types. It was understandable, If a bit unnerving. Sorren laughed mentally. He would have been a lot more than uncomfortable if he had to do this as a torchic. He was generally quite fond of the changes his evolution had made to his personality.

| As the duo entered the store, the smell of sawdust immediately entered the Ghost type's nose, follwed by the sawdust of sawdust. Chie, obviously not used to this kind of environment could barely suppress a sneeze. Even though she would be unable to cut herself by accident, a place like this definitely wouldn't be a place the Duskull would want to work in. Despite the owner's apparent rudeness she did not dare say a word, not having the courage to speak up and potentially cause a conflict. Quietly and humbly she answered her new leader's question: "I think that should be everything. I don't really need anything. Being a Ghost type can have its advantages." The tense air in the establishment was making the Requiem Pokémon nervous, so she silently hoped for Sorren to be done with his enquiries quickly. | |

| "Right thanks. Why don't you go out and see if you can't find a store you want to go to that's visible from the entrance, We can go there before moving on to buying more supplies. I'll just finish up payment and the dimensions of the furniture here." Sorren said, feeling the ghost types unease. He turned to the Bisharp to finish his transaction
Sorren told her the dimensions of everything he wanted, payed for them to get sent to the guild and counted up his money to pay. He dropped his poke several times while counting. He was still getting used to his new body.

| "Okay, thanks.", Chie whispered, hushing out of the door into the open again. Even though she knew that the only store of interest to her - the bookstore obviously - was quite a distance away from the area they were in at the time, she was glad for Sorren to have made that offer. Other Pokémon simply were a rather significant source of stress for her, never really having dealt with many and such a tense situation hadn't really made things better. Outside the situation wasn't much different from how it had been a few minutes ago. Many kinds of Pokémon were carelessly wandering around or browsing the various stalls, shops and supplies. Hopefully Sorren wouldn't burn down the store by accident... | |

| Sorren made his way back outside, his coinpurse significantly lighter. Chie still looked nervous. It was probably just the crowds. They made sorren feel uncomfortable too, but he was able to deal with it better, especially since he changed.
"Last chance to get a coffin bed." Sorren joked. "I don't suppose you actually chose a shop to go to."
Sorren thought she wouldn't. meh she can pass on this turn. sorren scanned the street for shops that look interesting. he would have to pull chie into one of those. He was going to have a good time out on the town in his new body whether chie liked it or not. That's how partnerships work.

| Finally the Combusken left the shop, appearing at the Duskull's side again. Chuckling about his remark, she replied: "That actually sounds like a pretty awesome idea. Why didn't I think of this before? And yes, you are correct. There aren't many interests you can exercize without engaging other Pokémon, so I don't really have many things I enjoy doing." But as she was just about to finish her sentence the Combusken seemed to have spotted something of interest already, running in some direction, trying to pull her with him. As Chie's typing rendered her relatively intangible, this action had as little effect as it was to be expected. However, not to seem rude, the Duskull followed after her friend, interested in getting to know what it was he had spotted. Finally the duo stopped inside what appeared to be an antique store. The air was just as full of particles as it had been in the shop they had left minutes ago, but this time it was normal dust, covering everything in a thin, translucent blanket of grey. This dust the Duskull had no trouble dealing with, having been used to living in a dusty library for many years after all. Besides dust and wooden floorboards, that creaked with every step one took, the dimly lit building was filled to the brim with the most strange of items. Something that appeared to be a clock, even though it had five hands instead of three and a collection of five golden necklaces and a golden tiara with colourful gemstones of various shapes in their centers being some of the most prominent objects. From the darkest corner, ehind the counter two piercingly red eyes were glaring, four hands of darkest shadow surrounding the maccabre grin. Apparently the owner of this shop was a Cofragigus, explaining both the state of the building and the apparent lack of customers. | |

| Sorren looked around at all the wonders. He picked up a gyroscope and messed around with it. there was a carving of arceus done in mahogany. There was even a music box with a mechanical dancing kirlia.
Sorren picked up a cylinder, looking closer at it he noticed it could extend. He pulled it out to it's full length and it was a spyglass. He pressed one eye into the small end of the device and looked out into the street. the spyglass was in remarkably good shape as well as having great quality.
"Hey chie check this out!" Sorren said walking over to Chie and presenting the spyglass.

| Chie chuckled as she saw Sorren in marvel upon seeing all these oddities and contraptions. She never would have thought that he would be interested in things like these. Taking the spyglass out of his claws and attempting to look through it, the Duskull ended up constantly having to move it across her face due to her eye constantly bouncing around in that empty skull of hers. Through the lenses the red glow was focussed, cast wide into the open whenever eye and spyglass aligned. "Heh, interesting, albeit sadly not as useful for my species." Handing the Combusken the item again, she giggled to herself. It had been a while since she had done something other than reading. | |

| "You know this is kinda interesting, It might even come in handy some time," Sorren said retracting the spyglass in one swift motion between his claws. "I think i'm going to bu-"
*Crack* Sorren tentatively removed a clawed arm away from the spyglass, and glass fell out of one of the lenses while he inspected it. Sorren cringed, looked to the shopkeeper then back at the spyglass.
"Uh, at least it's just a broken lens, it still extends and retracts, not like It can't be repaired." Sorren said, extending the broken spyglass, pulling it apart. he desperately tried to grab the pieces as they fell, another crash was heard, and Sorren sighed.
"Let me get out my wallet." He paid for the pieces of broken spyglass and threw it in the bin before walking out.

| As Sorren fidgeted around with the spyglass Chie could only recoil and cringe as the embarrassing atmosphere grew more and more painful. And with the little time she had spent among other Pokémon her tolerance for these situaions had been lowered even more than it had been previously. Hopefully they would get out of here quickly. At least the owner of the shop was a Ghost type, so the situation wasn't a complete catastrophe. But still the Duskull found herself hoping that she would never end up in a situation like this again. | |

| "Allright let's just head to the bookstore. I'll head to the Dojo later to try and get used to having arms." Sorren said, walking down the street towards the book store.
"Since you are a part of the team You have a right to pick out some books you would like to keep in the room. If there is any reference material, or even a really good novel, don't hesitate to ask, that bookshelf isn't going to fill itself. On that note I'm planing on getting a dictionary, thesaurus and an encyclopedia set, anything else you think we should have?"
Trying to avoid thinking about the awkward spyglass incident Sorren started elaborating on his plans to Chie. Hopefully with all the new stuff Team Titans could start to work more professionally. keep mission logs and stuff like that, also it would be nice to have a dictionary when Sorren started reading again, there are a lot of words in existence. Like what does spifflicated even mean?

| "Oh, there's no need to worry about that now. Thank you for offering, but I still have half a library of unread books left over. When you read as much as I do, you start buying them in bulk." The Duskull chuckled, glad for the Combusken to have offered, and of course she was glad to finally be out of that old antiquities store again as well. However one thing surprised the Ghost type. A dictionary, a thesaurus, an encyclopedia. The Fire type apparently really didn't own any of those. How a Pokémon could exist like that - Chie just couldn't understand it. And probably it would remain a mystery for her forever. But that didn't matter. She had found a friend. And she would make the best of the time they had until- NO. She would make the best of the time. | |

| "Where did you get the money? I always just assumed you didn't have a job before this." Sorren queried.
They had reached the book store, an old stone building with a book painted on the sighn. Sorren started his search for reference materials as he browsed many of the other books held within the building. Sorren thought the place felt off in grassveil, as if it was older than the rest of the town and fit in like a square peg in a round hole.
Sorren hoped they had writing supplies here so he wouldn't have to go to another store, The day was starting to take It's tole on him. Having Chie with him helped. As he skimmed through discount shelf He found himself wondering What he would do about his motor skills. Maybe he could pick up carving or some other hobby.
