Special Abilities

This thread will be added to as and when each special ability effect is needed and implemented into the site.

Honey Gather
A Pokemon with the ability Honey Gather that is level 1-15 can find up to one jar of honey per thread. A level 16-30 Pokemon with this ability can find one every five pages of a thread, level 31+ can find one 'pot' of honey every three pages.

Harvest
A Pokemon with the ability Harvest have a chance to re-use a berry that is eaten. To attempt to do so, they must roll the encounter dice for the dungeon they are in. If they roll an item, they will be able to re-use the berry. If they get a trap or a pokemon, the berry is gone forever. The roll itself is to be disregarded and you may not use the item/trap/pokemon rolled. You must specify explicitly in your post when you are rolling to determine whether you can re-use a berry.

Healer
Heals ally's status ailments every 5 pages.

Dry Skin
During intense sunlight the pokemon will no longer regain energy with each page, while in rain this pokemon will receive one more energy with each page. When burned, this pokemon will lose 2 energy with each page, negating the energy restoration and losing energy as you go. When hit with a water type move, half of the user's level will be restored in energy. The character also takes even more damage from fire type attacks.

Ice Body
When hailing, this pokemon will gain 1 more energy with each page along with their health being restored. Stops after 5 consecutive pages and can only affect energy for these 5 pages in total, per thread.

Magician
Allows you to steal the item of an encounter that has an item attached when you hit them with a move. Basic attack does not activate this ability.

Rain Dish
When raining, this pokemon will gain 1 more energy with each page along with their health being restored. Stops after 5 consecutive pages and can only affect energy for these 5 pages in total, per thread.

Poison Heal
When poisoned, this pokemon will gain 1 more energy with each page along with their health being restored. The energy restoration stops after the 5th page, and will also stop healing when an ability suppressing item and/or move is used on the pokemon.

Cheek Pouch
A Pokemon with the ability Cheek Pouch will be able to eat a berry and restore 5 energy no matter the berry and still have the berry's effect. This does stack with berries that already restore health, so eating an Oran Berry would result in healing 15 energy rather than the usual 10 energy.

Volt Absorb
When hit with an electric type attack, the user will regain half of their level's amount of energy and grant immunity to electric type attacks. The energy restoring effect can only be used once per thread. This ability will also stop working when an ability suppressing item and/or move is used on the pokemon.

Water Absorb
When hit with an water type attack, the user will regain half of their level's amount of energy and grant immunity to water type attacks. The energy restoring effect can only be used once per thread. This ability will also stop working when an ability suppressing item and/or move is used on the pokemon.

Pickpocket
Allows you to steal an item from an encounter that is carrying an item when you use a physical contact attack on them. A basic attack is enough to activate this ability.

Pickup
One roll is made at the beginning of each page in a thread. If that roll is an item, the item is kept as the one that the character has 'picked up'. If a pokemon encounter is rolled, the roll is ignored and no item is picked up. The RPer must clearly state that such a roll is a result of a Pickup ability when rolling.

Regenerator
Recovers one extra energy per page.

Sturdy
When you roll, your energy will remain at one energy if it would have originally taken your energy to zero. For example you have 10 energy and roll 10 times, you then get pokemon that take away 35 energy total, you will still have one energy. This can only be used once per thread, and will also not work when an ability suppressing item and/or move is used on the pokemon.
