An Archen's Ambition

An archen wandered on the rocky surface of the Peak, he had come to the volcano in search of items he could sell perhaps. The prehistoric bird had finished his adventure with William the ghastly on Blackmist mountain only a few days ago, since then he had been wondering about what he had said himself on that adventure. He had told the Ghastly that dreams don't just go away, his own words had made him begin to wonder just what was his dream? He was in the guild, that was his only dream aside from flying. He was beginning to think he had useless dreams, only thinking of being able to fly AND just joining some guild. He pondered his thoughts, nearly walking into a stream of lava in the process but stopping himself just in time.

Lincoln jumped slightly, not expecting the sudden appearance of what he presumed to be Acro's partner as she tackled the other pokemon. Huh. She looks overly energetic and active. Hope she's not always like that... He thought to himself, wincing slightly as she then turned to him and started questioning him in rapid succession.
"Uh, my name's Lincoln. Nice to meet you." He said in an almost confused voice, not sure if he should try and remember what all her other questions were and answer them all or just leave it alone.
"I was just going with Acro to go help him with something." Deciding to just explain what he was doing instead of answering everything, he responded in an almost awkward way.

The Arbok huffed, now wasn't the time to hesitate. A hunter must never hesitate. It gave a loud hiss as it lunged forward, making itself appear enraged as it hurtled towards the Riolu.
The Archen was surprised by the sudden attack, and froze up with fear. Acro wanted to move and to help the riolu as the arbok slithered towards him, but his body's fear of being beaten paralyzed him.
Astrid on the other hand, thought that the arbok was moving forward to hug them. The dratini squealed in delight and managed to wrap around the Arbok's tail in a hug to greet the pokemon.
The arbok hadn't noticed the nuisance yet, and continued towards Lincoln, its fangs were cloaked in icicles that made it sharper and larger, it was Ice Fang.
