For Club Leaders
Step 1: Submit your Agenda Submission Form. Fill out the agenda application form presented below and post it in this thread. Your agenda will then enter review. Processing time MAY decrease if you notify the headmaster through Pm on the site, or by pinging the headmaster with an @ tag on the Discord server. Please do not spam. If the Headmaster has a concern, they will contact you privately.
Step 2: Look for the Signature. You will know your application has been approved when your meeting is assigned a merit point value in the appropriate section on your application and the following signature is placed below your text: Lennox At the time that these elements appear you may continue to hold your meeting.
Step 3: Make the Topic. Once your meeting is approved, it’s recommended that you make a topic for it as soon as a student responds with interest. Please remember the school’s topic title rule, which states that a topic title for a class should include the [*Club* Meeting] tag before the name for the class, so for example: “[Drawing Club] Sketching the Trees!” For advertising purposes, it is recommended that you use the link to this thread so interested students can easily apply. Please confirm student’s acceptance in the your original post by adding them to the “Accepted Students” section of your application to keep this topic from getting too cluttered with applications and acceptance notices.
Step 4: Complete your Meeting. You’re on your way! Just keep an eye on your topic and keep the headmaster updated on when it’s closed/completed so that they can update it in the club meeting record. Other than that, have fun!
For Students
Step 1: Find a Meeting. You may want to ensure that you’re watching this topic so that you get immediate updates when something is posted here. You may also want to keep an eye out in the chatbox and on the Discord for leaders advertising their meetings.
Step 2: Find the Signature. Ensure that the following signature appears on the meeting you’re interested in: Lennox Please do not apply for any meetings that do not have this signature.
Step 3: Quote the Meeting. To join a meeting once it has been approved, please quote the post with class you are interested in and post it with the Sign-up form (provided below) filled out beneath the quote. Do not join a meeting topic without posting here, and please ensure that the leader has accepted you before joining.
Step 4: Join the Topic. Make sure to post in the meeting before it reaches a page so you don’t loose your place in it. A meeting may move on without you if you are not prompt to act, even if you have applied in this thread. After that, you’re on your way! (Please note that normal rules from the forum apply here as well, so if you join a meeting late into the first page, that page will not count towards your character’s level.)
It is highly recommended that members of this IO join the Discord Server and toggle the "Academy" role onto themselves so that they receive live updates on new classes and Academy updates. You can do this by typing "?Academy" into any general chat.
