(Energy: 17-5=12)

"Let's see... Berries..."

Cirrus the Togepi was in the midst of another Pecha Forest run, this time on the hunt for berries. She kept her eyes peeled for them, remembering full well that the ones up on the trees were no good as a result of being unripened and still growing. It was now an established fact that she had to find them on the ground.

The weather was overcast and generally not as good as it was on her last trip, so she had made plans to cut this short in the event of any rain. Finding shelter would be risky and there were going to be no attempts to clear the dungeon in such a situation. Not a bit. She let out a small yawn and continued.

(Poisoned, No Energy Regen.)

Some confidence begun returning to the ailing Togepi at Yin's newest challenge. The Mienfoo evidently possessed a reckless streak, she surmised. Perhaps, his abilities combined with what she could offer at present...?

"If it's two on one..." she said while picking herself up and standing by the Shroomish's side "then I'll accept your challenge." Cirrus had never actually been in a battle against a Pokémon that wasn't feral but she greatly favoured the numbers advantage on offer to their side here. That and she wasn't too happy with sitting back after the way the Mienfoo had taunted Schomburg for talking back in that manner.

"Let's do this, Schomburg."

(Energy: 4+1= 5)

Cirrus's confidence bestowed Schomburg the bravado he had lost when she first got poisoned. The fact that she was sick while saying this gave him even more reason to fight. The numerical advantage, too, got his blood pumping. He was in his element, back in a foraging expedition with his siblings.

"If you say so, Cirrus," he replied.

To aid in their endeavors, Schomburg first launched a cloud of Stun Spores at Yin to prevent him from moving. Surely, the incapacitating effect of the spores would help the duo out to great effect.

"You are gonna need more than that to stop me!!!" The mienfoo literary ran straight into the spores not even caring for a second about what they could do to her body, as she tried to rush him down by performing a swift barrage of pounds and light hits, you could notice that the spores were slowing her down already, it was a matter of time for the paralysis to kick in. It was rather unexpected for her to just run into the spores like that.

Before the Togepi could even react, Yin was immediately all over Schomburg with her swift barrage of continuous strikes, catching Cirrus way off guard. Reckless the Mienfoo might be, but she was evidently no slouch within battle...

"She's good... Gotta come up with some way to get her off Schomburg's back." She was concerned that he may begin to tire out before his Stun Spore would truly kick in. Thinking quickly, Cirrus used Double Team to send out multiple illusory copies of herself and made them run around and towards Yin in order to try and distract her from performing her flurry of combo hits.

Yin's charge was completely unexpected for the Shroomish. Caught off guard, there wasn't much he could do but take it. Each hit not only bruised him, but dented his pride. Each punch the Fighting-type landed just infuriated him more.

The Mienfoo's many punches were beginning to take a toll on Schomburg. He had a hard time figuring out a strategy; he couldn't exactly throw himself at Yin, his preferred attack. Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed Cirrus was running at Yin. Emboldened, he tried using Absorb to sap some of Yin's energy and weaken his resolve, if even by just a bit.

Yin growls at the copies and instantly rushed towards them flipping and pounding at them relentlessly, seems she was completely distracted by cirrus as she got hit from the absorb, she was gonna keep violently lashing at the togepi, but suddenly stops right on front of her...she shivers yet remains still, seems stun spore kicked in.

"Aghh REALLY?! NOW!? COME ON MOVE! Stupid spores!!!" She yells, clearly enraged over having lost control over her body. She was completely defenceless right now.

This was highly fortunate for Cirrus, as her stamina was seriously flagging right about now. Had this been a one on one battle against a Yin that wasn't paralyzed then it would have been a definite curbstomp. She'd been granted a brief reprieve by Schomburg's Stun Spore.

The Togepi took this precious moment to measure up the scenario and overall encounter. She was still highly intimidated by what seemed like unwarranted aggression from the Mienfoo and it was so clearly written into her face as she took a close look at Yin, using Charm alongside her visible symptoms of poisoning in a desperate attempt to make her stop.

Schomburg smiled menacingly. Yin's brashness had led the Mienfoo to be exactly where the duo wanted him.

Cirrus was trying to curry the battle in their favor by using her cutie-patootie wiles to lower the Fighting-type's defenses, so Schomburg decided to take the more direct route, his favored strategy.

"RAAAH!" he screamed as he slammed into Yin as hard as he could. He panted heavily as he awaited Yin's answer to his assault, if there was any.

She looks at the small Pokémon, lowering her fist a little. Seems charm worked, lowering her defenses. "Okay...maybe I could spare you the fight for n-" she got cut off mid sentence as Schomburg rams into her back knocking her to the ground harshly, she tries to force herself back up and brush it off, but the paralysis along with the pain prevented her to do so, she managed to only end up kneeling down. "............" She glared at them she seems to be extremely frustrated right now.

(Morning Sun, Level 6. 6/2=3. Energy: 4+3=7)

"Is... Is that it...?" Cirrus said in shaky breaths, using her Morning Sun move to recover some of her lost energy and vitality within a gentle golden glow. After that battle, it was almost a necessity. She was still poisoned but otherwise ok for now.

"Thanks for the help Schomburg, I know I couldn't have done that myself..." she graciously replied to the Shroomish. She very much meant what she said about her not being able to take Yin on her own. Speaking of which...

Cirrus then looked at the said Mienfoo, stock still on her knees. "Aggressive towards me or not, I've got to help her get out of this dungeon. I'm not leaving her behind just because of what happened..." The Togepi had no inkling as to the underlying cause of Yin's instant dislike towards her, but she found whatever it was to be no justification for abandoning her to the forest's feral Pokémon.

Yin was clearly frustrated. Schomburg smirked, happy with his victory. "How you like that, huh?" he gloated.

After the shivering Togepi thanked Schomburg for his help, he felt much more secure of himself. He could do it! He could survive out in the wilderness and help out the helpless! His chest (or rather, his whole body) swelled with pride.

"We should take Yin with us, right? It wouldn't be fair to just... abandon them like that."

On the other hand, yin felt completely frustrated, she had lost again to a fairy, and not only that the shroom pokemon was taunting her too. that made her feel awful, even weak. Yet she wasnt going to just accept that she lost, she could not accept it. she forces a smile as she looks down clearly upset.

She then finnaly answers "Help?... Do you really think i need help?...I do not need help! you just won because of that cheap tactic, so listen up! I am going to follow you two, when we are out of here the first thing that is gonna happen is a rematch! and i am taking YOU BOTH down!" she yelled out loud as she suddenly slammed a paw on the ground hard, she then began forcing herself up despite being paralized and hurt. she was going to have trouble moving, but she wasnt going to let them hand hold her because of pride.

so, it seems that she would be for now on their side, at least until they got out of the forest and back in proper shape, even if her way of saying it sounded rather theathening, it seems that she would somewhat willingly tag along until they made it out of the dungeon.

(Energy: 7-48=0)

Cirrus almost immediately felt a twinge of pity when she noticed how upset Yin appeared to be, but this was very quickly dashed by more fear when the Mienfoo spoke up and slammed her paw down. They might have beaten her in battle but it was obvious to anyone that Cirrus still found herself highly intimidated by the Fighting type Pokémon in front of them. This in conjunction with the poison was starting to make her feel a bit light headed...

Immediately getting behind Schomburg, her appointed rock for this dungeon exploration, Cirrus's reply to Yin's outburst consisted simply of "Ok, g-great to have you on board..." before a nearby rustling noise caused her to jump in shock. "What now?" she uttered, already on edge enough as it is without feral Pokémon jumping them.

Her answer soon came in the form of a Murkrow emerging from one of the trees, contemplating on who to divebomb with his Peck. The poisoned Fairy type, the paralyzed Fighting type, or the Grass type...
