"Let's see... Berries..."

Cirrus the Togepi was in the midst of another Pecha Forest run, this time on the hunt for berries. She kept her eyes peeled for them, remembering full well that the ones up on the trees were no good as a result of being unripened and still growing. It was now an established fact that she had to find them on the ground.

The weather was overcast and generally not as good as it was on her last trip, so she had made plans to cut this short in the event of any rain. Finding shelter would be risky and there were going to be no attempts to clear the dungeon in such a situation. Not a bit. She let out a small yawn and continued.

This was highly fortunate for Cirrus, as her stamina was seriously flagging right about now. Had this been a one on one battle against a Yin that wasn't paralyzed then it would have been a definite curbstomp. She'd been granted a brief reprieve by Schomburg's Stun Spore.

The Togepi took this precious moment to measure up the scenario and overall encounter. She was still highly intimidated by what seemed like unwarranted aggression from the Mienfoo and it was so clearly written into her face as she took a close look at Yin, using Charm alongside her visible symptoms of poisoning in a desperate attempt to make her stop.

Schomburg smiled menacingly. Yin's brashness had led the Mienfoo to be exactly where the duo wanted him.

Cirrus was trying to curry the battle in their favor by using her cutie-patootie wiles to lower the Fighting-type's defenses, so Schomburg decided to take the more direct route, his favored strategy.

"RAAAH!" he screamed as he slammed into Yin as hard as he could. He panted heavily as he awaited Yin's answer to his assault, if there was any.

(Morning Sun, Level 6. 6/2=3. Energy: 4+3=7)

"Is... Is that it...?" Cirrus said in shaky breaths, using her Morning Sun move to recover some of her lost energy and vitality within a gentle golden glow. After that battle, it was almost a necessity. She was still poisoned but otherwise ok for now.

"Thanks for the help Schomburg, I know I couldn't have done that myself..." she graciously replied to the Shroomish. She very much meant what she said about her not being able to take Yin on her own. Speaking of which...

Cirrus then looked at the said Mienfoo, stock still on her knees. "Aggressive towards me or not, I've got to help her get out of this dungeon. I'm not leaving her behind just because of what happened..." The Togepi had no inkling as to the underlying cause of Yin's instant dislike towards her, but she found whatever it was to be no justification for abandoning her to the forest's feral Pokémon.

Yin was clearly frustrated. Schomburg smirked, happy with his victory. "How you like that, huh?" he gloated.

After the shivering Togepi thanked Schomburg for his help, he felt much more secure of himself. He could do it! He could survive out in the wilderness and help out the helpless! His chest (or rather, his whole body) swelled with pride.

"We should take Yin with us, right? It wouldn't be fair to just... abandon them like that."

(Energy: 7-48=0)

Cirrus almost immediately felt a twinge of pity when she noticed how upset Yin appeared to be, but this was very quickly dashed by more fear when the Mienfoo spoke up and slammed her paw down. They might have beaten her in battle but it was obvious to anyone that Cirrus still found herself highly intimidated by the Fighting type Pokémon in front of them. This in conjunction with the poison was starting to make her feel a bit light headed...

Immediately getting behind Schomburg, her appointed rock for this dungeon exploration, Cirrus's reply to Yin's outburst consisted simply of "Ok, g-great to have you on board..." before a nearby rustling noise caused her to jump in shock. "What now?" she uttered, already on edge enough as it is without feral Pokémon jumping them.

Her answer soon came in the form of a Murkrow emerging from one of the trees, contemplating on who to divebomb with his Peck. The poisoned Fairy type, the paralyzed Fighting type, or the Grass type...
