The Ninja and The Kitsune Empty
PostSubject: The Ninja and The Kitsune   The Ninja and The Kitsune EmptySun Jul 24, 2016 1:49 pm

(Energy: 19 - 5 = 14)

Anura headed into the Pecha Forest yet again in search of clues or where to go from there or even feral pokemon fight to get stronger against. He looked around this time more familiar with the entrance and sweet smell of Pecha berries. He took the opposite path than he did the first time he went into the forest, wondering what he might have missed. It might be a good idea to look for some berries he thought to himself, the forest is bound to be full of all sorts of poison pokemon and he did not know what he might find further on his journey.

Stopping to look around Anura realized that if he had not been paying attention he might have been lost, he is a small pokemon and although Pecha Forest is small itself it felt large in its own way. It is the only place that he had been so far aside from his home village. Although the village felt large in its own way he was used to it, the opposite for this forest which he was just learning about and learning more about each time he has entered. His mind almost lost in thought as he stood in a decently open area of the forest.

Energy: 18 - 5 (entrance fee) = 13

With a spring in her step and a smile on her face, Cinder was making her way through Pecha Forest. Seeing so many Pecha Berries around her at once made her wonder as if this was paradise. I think I found my new favorite place! Berries everywhere in sight! she thought to herself, humming a tune. It was as if all of her troubles had silenced themselves and hidden, at least for the duration of her stroll in the forest. The day hadn't gone well earlier considering she ripped a part of her Defense Scarf just getting ready and she tripped in town, causing quite a bit of dirt to coat her side, but she could care less right now. It was just her, lots of berries, and a mysterious blue creature that looked more spaced out than a confused Espurr.

Wait, mysterious blue creature that looks more spaced out than a confused Espurr? she thought again, blinking to make sure that she was seeing this right. Sure enough, there was the very same figure in the distance. Perhaps it was friendly? The Vulpix had lots of luck finding some friendly Pokémon before and was quite surprised that they seemed to enjoy her company. Then again, she hardly had any time to train or battle... Maybe I could ask this Pokémon for a friendly little sparring match! Hidon was a bit of a surprise when it came to the battle, but maybe this one will be some a good workout! Cinder thought cheerfully, picking up the pace. "Hey! Over here, you there! What's your name?" she called over, focusing on optimistic thoughts about the stranger despite not knowing one thing about them beforehand.

Anura started to wonder what other places he might find with even more secrets hidden than this forest. If this place is good for starting his journey then it mustn’t be that impressive in comparison to places he will meet in the future. Maybe I should try to head some place new after exploring this forest. He thought to himself only to be surprised as he heard a voice calling to him. Who is it, is this pokemon hostile, is it another friendly pokemon like last time I came here? These thoughts all raced through his head in mere moments as the mystery pokemon spoke.

Anura quickly turned to the pokemon his white hands clenched close to creating toxic spikes when he realized the pokemon was just asking for a name. He thought to himself for a moment. A friendly gesture? I guess it is fine to go along with it for now. He slowly unclenched his hands smiling to the, from what he can tell from what he studied in his village, Vulpix as he spoke in a friendly tone. “My name is Anura what is your name?” He asked in return. As he waited for a response he looked closely as the pokemon wondering why she might be in the forest.

Energy: 13

Something didn't settle right with the fox when she called out to them. Were they clenching their fists or something? Deciding against asking, Cinder shrugged it off. "Hi, Anura! The name's Cinder, don't wear it out!" she joked with a smile as she stopped before the Froakie. If there was one thing she was good at, it was trusting strangers. Clearly the idea of "stranger danger" never really resonated with her; every new Pokémon was just another one to meet and spend time with. By keeping her preferences low-key and her demeanor open and accepting, she found it to give her an easier time with meeting new friends. After all, if it did end up backfiring, she felt confident in her own abilities to make it better. This hasn't failed her before, so why should it be doubted now?

"So whatcha doing out here? Not every Pokémon just goes out to Pecha Forest to look for as many berries as possible like myself, you know." the Vulpix stated with a smirk. Surprisingly, Pokémon went to the forest for training rather than berries. Never understood that. There are better places like Shadowhue for that! Why others choose Pecha Forest is something I'll never get. There are poisonous Pokémon, hordes, and a lot more stuff! Much better suited for getting berries and ditching. Still... I'll stick around this one time. Maybe I'm missing something about the point of it.
