 Corus the Aron

Go down

PostSubject: Corus the Aron   Thu Jan 28, 2016 7:29 pm

» Name: Corus
» Sex: Male
» Gender: Male
» Species: #304, Aron the Iron Armor Pokémon
» Affiliation: > Oreiro Clan
> Part-Time Apprentice of Jack

» Level: Five
» Energy: 19
» Ability: Rock Head
» Moves:
- Head Smash ~ Egg Move
- Tackle ~ Level 1
- Harden ~ Level 1
- Mud-Slap ~ Level 4

» Natural Feats:
- Metalbolism
As an Aron, Corus is able to feed upon and easily digest iron without any repercussions to his body. In fact, the more he digests iron, the better for his bodily functions.

» Personality: Corus is an oblivious Pokémon who  allows very little to upset him. What does faze him doesn’t bother him too much and he is ready to take on whatever did heads down, literally. He likes to explore and have fun with others but due to having a natural tough body his idea of ‘fun’ is a whole lot more dangerous for those not of his species.

Corus is a loyal Pokémon to those he classifies as friends and will neither betray them nor tell their secrets to others. He does however believe that Pokémon should be given the chance as well put the effort to deal with their problems. If they don’t ask for his help or don’t even try to solve the problem, then he won’t offer his help either.

He is somewhat of a glutton and likes to sneak around the reserves and ‘borrow’ a bit of the Clan’s stock. If he is overly hungry then Corus is at his most problematic and dangerous, yet most vulnerable. He cares neither for his surroundings nor companions, only to settle his hunger and NOTHING will stop him. You won’t like him when he’s hungry. Or you might.

» Likes:
+ Iron is his favourite food and he loves to eat it. Corus cannot go more than a few hours without his daily fix before he gets grumpy if not outright unpleasant.
+ Roughhousing is something he loves and it is in fact his favourite pastime. Most of his friends would like to argue that he doesn’t ‘roughhouse’ but runs them over and beats them black and blue while they can barely scratch him.
+ Lazing around makes a nice change of pace, especially whenever there's a warm, sunny day. Sometimes Corus just wants to lie down and bathe in the sun's rays, with an iron snack not too far away.
» Dislikes:
- Not getting his daily fix of iron. If he goes more than 12 hours without said ‘food’, Corus will get very unpleasant. Once the 24 hours mark has passed, the Pokémon forgoes any dignity and goes on a rampage to eat any iron in sight until his hunger is settled.
- Getting bothered for no reason is a loathsome thing indeed and Corus has no problem showing what he thinks of it. He sends them flying if they’re his age, but in case of the adults Corus will be as difficult and uncooperative as possible.
- Having to listen to a long rant or explanation works on his nerve. While he can be patient Aron, he finds it a waste of time if Pokémon take a long time to get their point across. If it can't be explained quickly then you either don't understand nor know what you want to say or it's not important. At a certain point it's less about the point and more about hearing their own voice.

» History:
Corus was born the son of two members of the Oreiro Clan, his mother a Lairon and his father a Rampardos. In his first few months, Corus’ upbringing had been placed upon his mother’s shoulders as his father had absolutely no idea how to raise a Pokémon, let alone one not of his species.

His mother taught him how to be patient and how to deal with overly eccentric Pokémon, like his father was. She taught him to find iron in the mountains and how to defend himself as well as how to live on his own. Those days she left him alone in the mountains had been an exciting adventure for the little Steel type and would inspire him to move out in later years. His father on the other hand taught him to have fun and not be ‘a stick in the mud’ like his mother could be, not that the Rampardos EVER said that to her face. The male roughhoused with him on a daily basis, unknowingly putting the mind-set of an attacker in his little boy’s mind.

Being a part of the Oreiro Clan, Corus had a peaceful childhood as there were very few creatures living in the mountains willing to take on the clan filled with Aggrons and the odd Tyranitar and Rhyperior. The Steel type spent most of his days frolicking around the clan ground, exploring new areas or roughhousing with those his age. The one he enjoys hanging out the most is a fellow clan member, Safire, a Larvitar. She is one of the few that not only roughhouses and explores with him, but she can deal with him for hours on an end.

One day the clan was treated with a visitor from outside the mountain range. The visitor introduced himself as Jack, no clan name, a Bisharp who had been exploring through the mountain. He had been found heavily injured by an Oreiro member. Apparently Jack had stumbled upon a Charizard taking care of her young. The mother had not taken gently to his appearance and had been a brutal mistress. He had only been able to escape her assaults when he stumbled down a cliff and it was there he had been retrieved.

The Bisharp was allowed to stay at the clan until he was healed up, but not a day longer. The clan’s mating season was coming up and there were already first timers getting frustrated by the new emotions brewing up. They did not need a stranger around to add to the annoyances, thank you very much. To thank them, Bisharp told the elder clan members of the happenings in the outside world while he entertained the young with his many exploration stories. These stories were the inspiration for Corus to decide he’d follow the Bisharp in his footsteps and become an Explorer himself. He had always been more adventurous.

His parents didn’t have too many problems with it, as the members of the clan were expected to move out at a certain age in order to gain some world wide experience as well as decrease the burden on the clan’s food stock. Each member was allowed to do whatever they wanted, but were expected to return once a year and show their progress to the clan.

It was thus under the guiding hand of Jack, that Corus learned of the ways of the Explorer. On the day the Bisharp was forced to leave the grounds, Corus packed his stuff - mostly consisting of iron – and joined the Pokémon in his journey to every Explorer hopeful: Grassveil Town and its Guild.

» Other: Nothing that to my knowledge should be mentioned.

Sorry, your Character Bio cannot be approved due to the following reasons:

1. LIKES/DISLIKES You must have at least three likes and three dislikes.

Everything else looks pretty good. I'm curious to see if you'll make the clan mentioned here an organization or just leave it private for your own roleplays. :3

If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to message any of the Secretaries. May it be through the Chatbox or through Private Messaging, we will tend to your concerns as soon as we can. Please fix your bio accordingly so that we may be able to approve it. Once you have completed your edits, either bump this thread or message us.
