| Kelina Energy: 20 Items in Use: N/A Inventory
Kelina brightened up at the mention of going on an exploration. "Right, we wanted to explore! Just, we've gotta be careful about the feral pokemon we encounter... We don't want another repeat of that incident, right?" She chirped cheerfully.
She hopped onto a rock and looked down at Cana excitedly. "Which way do you want to go?" she asked excitedly, looking between the two paths they could take. One was barely visible, only a faint trail that might have been used only once or twice, while the other was clearly well-trodden, a dirt path visible where the grass had been tromped over so much it no longer grew there.

| Cana looked at the 2 paths. The dirt path obviously seemed much safer but she didn't think she would find much going that way. "Well....I'm not sure. I think we could find more if we go through that path between those bushes." The Fennekin pointed at the path not many Pokemon seem to have gone too. "It probably is more dangerous though. Ferals tend to stay away from busy places and that other path certainly seems more used than the other."
Cana wondered what Kelina thought about it. She didn't think with what happened she would like to go to the first path but maybe she had an adventurous spirit?

Kelina bobbed her head thoughtfully. "Well one way is certain to have lots of adventure and unknowns! I vote for that way, but if you want to avoid ferals I guess we can go the other way. It's really up to you, I don't mind either way." she chirped happily.
Kelina honestly didn't mind where they were going as long as she had fun with her newfound friend.

| Cana was curious about the dirt path. It could indeed be dangerous but they could handle all ferals they would come across, right? Kelina seemed to like that path more. Cana was a bit worried but she did want to go that way too.
"I guess the dirt path it is then." The Fennekin got up and walked towards it. It was a bit on the narrow side and she had to crawl under a low branch to reach it. It also seemed to be a lot darker there. They had to be extra careful about were they were going or else they would stray from the path. That was the feeling she was getting. Cana looked back at the Spearow. "Shall we go then?"

| (Energy: 9+1=10) Cana giggled a bit at Kelina's kick. It was a funny sight. She was happy the bird was so excited and hyper again, especially after her getting poisoned like that. Cana moved forward. It was getting darker on the path and she was hoping it would not go pitch black. The Fennekin did like to see where she was going. Bumping into things did not seem fun and she did not want to end up accidentally litting up the forest as she tried to use fire moves to see anything. She could trust on her sense of smell at least. Wait a minute.... Cana stopped. Did she just smell something? Her ears twitched a bit as she could hear a rustling sound coming from the distance. | Kelina Energy: 20 Items in Use: N/A Inventory
Kelina continued along the path, oblivious to the sign that her friend had noticed danger ahead. Instead she just kept hopping along, bobbing her head to the music in her mind. So when a shroomish jumped on her head, encasing her with a cloud of ONCE AGAIN POISON, she started up a shriek worthy of a full-grown Fearow, rather than the little spearow that she was.
"Why?! WHy does this -cough- happen every time?!" she demanded from the air, coughing and wheezing from the poison. She shook her head violently, dislodging the shroomish from her head. She then promptly pecked the dumb bug on the head for trying such a thing.

| Cana wanted to warn Kelina but it was too late. Whatever was hiding in the bushes had jumped on the Spearow and released a cloud of poison powder. Cana recognized the Pokemon as a Shroomish. She normally would have an advantage over it but the vegetation was too close. She was scared to miss and hit a tree with her Ember. Heat Wave was a safer option for the forest, but she didn't want to hurt Kelina.
The Fennekin decided to try to help the Spearow and started running towards Kelina and the Shroomish, only to be stopped in her tracks when a Slakoth fell from a branch right in front of her. It was blocking her way and scratched her. Cana had her hands full for now. Luckily, her opponent was slow and she could easily dodge it's attacks and counter with a barrage of Scratch attacks but she had to help Kelina.

| Kelina Energy: 20 Items in Use: N/A Inventory
Kelina hopped back from the shroomish, narrowing her eyes at it. The shroomish just shook its body at her, apparently mocking her attempts of harming it. Kelina chirped angrily and unleashed a triangle of elemental energy at the poisonous pokemon.
The shroomish shrieked as the tri-attack struck its side. The poison pokemon waddled backwards into the undergrowth, glaring at the spearow and letting out a plume of poisonous smoke again.
Kelina reared back, flapping her wings vigorously in an attempt to wave away the poison before she breathed more of the crap in. She rose into the air a bit, taking a quick breath of fresh air before the poison could set into the air around her.

| (Energy: 3)
The Slakoth was tougher than she had expected. It took her far longer than she would have liked to take it out. Cana was panting as she watched the feral on the ground. It was finally not moving anymore. Finally....Now I need to help Kelina. She got poisoned again. As Cana looked over and wanted to rush over to help, she noticed a cloud of poisonous powder in the air. She could not get close to the Shroomish this way without inhaling some poison herself. What was she supposed to do now?
The Fennekin looked around to see if she could find anything. She found an Oran berry and a Sitrus berry and put them in her bag. They might need them later. As she put them away, she could feel something else in her bag. It was a Stick. "Oh right....I have still on of those..." She murmered to herself. She might as well try to use it. The Fennekin took the Stick and aimed at the feral and threw the item at it. She hopes it would hit.

Kelina let out a squawk of surprise as a stick sailed past her and hit the shroomish square in the forehead. The shroomish let out a cry of fury and pain, and waddled backward, looking between the bird and the fennekin angrily. But even the shroomish knew when it was outnumbered, and so it waddled away grumpily, letting out huffs and growls but not turning back.
Kelina alighted on the ground again, breathing heavily as she winced from the inner damage from her second poisoning of this trip. "Ugh. I hate poison types," she chirped, looking over at Cana. "Thanks for the save, it wasn't going to be long before I breathed in more of that poison."

| The Fennekin was relieved to see the Shroomish leave. It would have been impossible to get close with that poisonous powder. She looked at Kelina. It seemed like the bird did breathe in some of that poisonous powder. She at least didn't look as bad as with the Ariados. She almost died back then. Still, it was better to be safe.
"It was nothing. I was worried I would miss or it wouldn't leave though." Cana put her bag down and took out a Pecha berry. She held the berry out to the Spearow. "You got poisoned again, didn't you? You should eat this. Don't want you to end up like last time. You were pretty much dying. Although it probably isn't so bad this time." Cana was no medic, she only knew poisoning was bad and wanted to help Kelina.

Kelina accepted the pecha berry gratefully, and swallowed it in one gulp. "Thanks," she chirped happily. "Well... it seems like this place is more dangerous than I thought. What do you think about heading to Grassveil? I'd hate to keep wasting your pecha berries," she said.
Kelina flapped her wings experimentally, making sure the poison hadn't dampened her ability to feel her wings. That would mean that she couldn't fly, which was the worst thing to happen to her at all, in the spearow's opinion.

| Cana had to agree that this place was pretty dangerous. Kelina got poisoned twice since they started exploring together. The Fennekin only had one more Pecha Berry left. She might need it for when they come across more ferals on their way back. She didn't want to risk running out of them.
Cana nodded. "Yes, lets go back. I think we could use some rest too." The Fennekin was still bothered about the things that Shedinja had said back then. It was hard to believe that actually used to be one of the Pokemon that died in that fire, and it bothered her. She could apologize all she wanted, that would not bring back the dead.

| Kelina Energy: 20 Items in Use: N/A Inventory -Cacnea Spike
Kelina nodded happily. "Ok then!" She flapped her wings briskly to bring herself into the air. She led the way out of the forest. "I hope we meet again someday," she said to the fennekin as they reached the edge of the forest and prepared to go their separate ways.
Kelina was all in all happy about how the trip had gone. She had met a new friend, after all. Even if she had gotten poisoned twice. That hadn't been good. But still, it wasn't like she was permanently harmed by it.
