First topic message reminder :

It was getting pretty late. The sun had just sunk below the horizon and stars started to appear in the sky. It was very peaceful at the pond. Leaves were rustling in the wind and the wind created ripples on the water.

A young Fennekin had just arrived at the pond. She was carrying a small bag with a bit of food. She decided to rest there. At first glance nobody else seemed to be around. Cana was relieved. It’s not like she hated busy places but she was much rather alone. Although she did feel lonely.

Cana put down the bag and looked at her reflection. Her fur seemed to have become pretty dull. How long has it been since she left home? It probably has been a few weeks now. She didn’t regret it though, even if she has to miss her siblings now. Cana sighed.

“I don’t want to be alone anymore…” Her voice echoed across the water. It was resounding with sadness.

That was what she really wanted, but she always had a hard time socializing with others. Cana is normally too scared to start a conversation with strangers and often tends to ignore them. She has tried a few times but she backed out of it each time. It doesn’t help that she has trouble trusting others either.

Cana just looked down at her own reflection, filled with self pity and lost on thoughts.

Deimos glanced towards the Fennekin and bowed his head slightly at first, turning it into a simple nod. "That's the closest most non flying species can get really, without some form of courier support... But even then, it's doubtful" Deimos spoke, basically shrugging somewhat in the process.

The Absol rose from his position and stretched slightly, turning as if to move away. He'd had enough of a rest here. He understood that he had to get somewhere... closer to water next. Though he'd generally tried to hide it, part of his fur was still coloured red after being bitten by that Seviper back at pricklemist... Better to clean the incision before an infection could happen after all.

Walking away, the Absol merely left the Apple behind... He had no right to take it.

Cana watched him leave. He didn't seem like a bad pokemon. Maybe she could call him a bit mysterious. Still, she wished they could talk a bit more. Cana actually did notice the blood on his fur although she didn't want to ask about it. She doubted he would have told her anyway. She looked up at the stars again. "I wonder how it would be like to watch the stars from a mountain..."

The Fennekin was pretty tired. It sure was late. She looked back one more time to see the Absol had already left. The Fennekin walked to a tree and lay down under it. She would try to sleep now. She was planning on continue to travel around the next morning. She wasn't sure where to though. It didn't really matter. She would see where her feet carried her. And with those thoughts in mind, the Fennekin fell asleep.
