Tiresome Journey Empty
PostSubject: Tiresome Journey   Tiresome Journey EmptyThu Sep 10, 2015 3:33 am

Raul

Just days before the darkness had arrived upon the world. A lone golden riolu had been traveling for some time. Having just recently run away from the only place it had called home. Despite the fact that it was a moving home. After all, his clan was nomadic, depending no the situation they were in. They would move to new locations every so often.

However, all that is now in the past. Ever since he had believed he had failed his trials and had lost his master. He feared the effects of it within the clan. He hasn't heard of such an event that has ever happened before with another. So he informed them what had happened, as his master's wish. However, he ran away afterwords. They didn't even bother to stop him.

---------------

Now, just passing near the town of Rainfront town. The golden riolu had been walking slowly across the sandy beach along the coast. Looking off towards the ocean. The orange glow of the sunset in the distance.

He had been traveling non-stop ever since he had left his clan. The path being endless for him. He was worn and tired. More so than what his trial had entailed for him. After looking at the sunset, he figured that this would be an alright location to rest. Sensing little to no other presences with his ability to sense aura. The only presence that was actually somewhat distinguishable was something in the water in the distance. It was quite possible that it was heading towards the beach area.

PostSubject: Re: Tiresome Journey   Tiresome Journey EmptyThu Sep 10, 2015 4:04 am

Not far from where the riolu stood looking out at the sunset, a small pokemon was making its own way towards the beach. This pokemon was a mudkip, swimming through the choppy waves with ease, using its rather large -in proportion to the rest of its body- tail fin to steer through the water easily. The mudkip was a female, and was named Breeze of the Morning Rain. Breeze rather preferred the shortened version of her name, but very few pokemon had ever called her anything other than her full title.

Breeze was fleeing across the ocean; fleeing from the shattered remains of her past life. While at the time of her exile, she'd been full of righteous anger and indignation, so much so that she hadn't cared about the exile at the time, the anger had long since faded, and now Breeze was able to feel the full toll the exile was taking on her. She'd been alone for a week now, traveling across the ocean in search of... something, anything! Breeze was not a solitary pokemon, and the loneliness was beginning to get to her.

Breeze soon came in sight of the beach, and swam towards it excitedly. This was the first large landmass she'd come across since leaving the Island of the Tribes -perhaps there would be pokemon there?

PostSubject: Re: Tiresome Journey   Tiresome Journey EmptyThu Sep 10, 2015 4:20 am

Raul

The golden riolu sensed the pokemon getting closer. However he paid no attention to it at the time. It was still out in the ocean after all. The aura it had flickered along with its emotions. Raul could only sense the energy within the pokemon, not the emotions. Emotions was something far more difficult to interpret through aura. Only extremely strong emotions would ever show up in it from what he had learned. Such emotions such as anger and sadness were some that could be somewhat distinguishable to those that were very keen in sensing aura.

He sat down against the sand just a little way from where the waves had reached. He wouldn't get wet from the encounter at all. The sand being somewhat cool as he sat there. He placed his paws on the sand on each side of him. Continuing to stare out towards the sunset.

I miss my Theynin... he thought to himself after a moment of staring out towards the sun. With this thought he looked towards the pouch that was tied to his right wrist close to his paw. Lifting his right paw off the sand as he brought the pouch closer to him. Not opening it once since there was another pokemon approaching the general area. He didn't know its intentions yet, so he didn't want to bring his treasure out.

Notes
Theynin can be looked up in his bio under one of the links in notes.
However, for short it is basically teacher / master.

The other word you will possibly encounter is Cheynil.
Raul was considered a Cheynil. It is similar to how Theynin is teacher. Cheynil is student in some ways.

Tiresome Journey Empty
PostSubject: Re: Tiresome Journey   Tiresome Journey EmptyFri Sep 11, 2015 8:42 pm

Breeze finally made it to the beach, and dragged herself onto the sand, collapsing half-way up the shore. The crashing waves of the ocean washed up all around her, but she was too tired to move -and it wasn't like she could drown if she fell asleep, anyway.

Breeze was both physically and mentally exhausted. As she lay there on the sand, her focus off of swimming or moving for the moment, her thoughts turned to the Tribes. Or rather, what she was going to do without them. Breeze had only ever known the Tribes. Not to mention that she'd never received any training on how to fend for herself in the outside world. She hadn't even had to forage food for herself before! That was for the Hunters to do... nothing that a Medicine Pokemon needed to worry about.

She'd been able to save some oran berries and apples in her pack before she left, but they were all gone now. What was she going to do for food?! Breeze was starting to panic now. She really hadn't given this much thought before she left, and she really should have, but it was too late now!

Raul

The golden riolu watched as a figure gradually made its way across the waves and onto the beach. It was a mudkip, and it seemed to be completely exhausted. The golden riolu known as Raul would leave it alone, but something seemed off. The aura that came off of it seemed to become somewhat staggered. Was there something wrong? Was it upset about something?

The riolu watched for a moment. Waiting to see if the mudkip made any other movements at the time. From what he saw, the pokemon was still remaining still. After thinking for a moment, he eventually got up from his spot and starting walking towards the mudkip. As he got close, he paused for a moment to see if it would notice him or not.

Tiresome Journey Empty
PostSubject: Re: Tiresome Journey   Tiresome Journey EmptySun Sep 13, 2015 3:15 am

The fin on the top of Breeze's head twitched, sending information straight to her brain. Breeze attempted to push herself up, but only collapsed again. She turned her head to look up at the approaching pokemon, whose movements had stirred up the air around them, allowing Breeze's fin to pick up the changes in the air currents.

Breeze's eyes narrowed against the bright light of the sun reflecting off of the water and the sand. The pokemon was... a pokemon whom she'd never seen before. It was bipedal, and mostly blue all over. It had a black mask of fur around its eyes and there were two things hanging down from the sides of its head that kind of looked like ears, only there were two pointy blue ears on top of its head already.

Maybe it had two sets of ears? Breeze was confused now. "W-who... who are you?" she asked nervously. She had no way of defending herself in her exhausted state -she had already collapsed trying to get up once! There was no way she could defend herself from an attack.

Tiresome Journey Empty
PostSubject: Re: Tiresome Journey   Tiresome Journey EmptySun Sep 13, 2015 4:02 am

Raul

The golden riolu stood there for a moment. As the pokemon had sensed him approaching. It had attempted to get up but quickly failing from what he saw. It eventually asked who he was. Seeming quite weary from whatever travel it had just done.

From what he could tell, this pokemon was quite nervous. Thinking for a moment, there might be some food nearby. He was thinking that it was quite possible that this pokemon might just need something to eat. The bag that it had, looked completely empty.

Before he responded to the pokemon's question. He looked towards the direction he had saw an apple on the ground. It was a fresh one, just recently fallen from what he could tell when he did pass it.

He began to make his way towards the apple, leaving the pokemon there for now. Picking up the apple, and brought it over to the downed pokemon. "Raul, I am raul." he said in a calm tone as he was about a foot away from the pokemon.

He bent down to the ground next to the pokemon and offered it an apple. If the pokemon refused it, he would leave it right next to it and walk back a few steps to give the pokemon room.

Tiresome Journey Empty
PostSubject: Re: Tiresome Journey   Tiresome Journey EmptySun Sep 13, 2015 4:28 am

The pokemon didn't say anything after a moment, and then it turned away and passed out of Breeze's view. Breeze sighed and laid her head on the sand. Though she was disappointed with the pokemon's apparent disinterest in another pokemon's distress, at least it hadn't attacked her.

Her fin twitched again after a few more moments, and Breeze blinked open her eyes to see the pokemon approaching again. Now it held an apple in its paw, and Breeze's eyes hype-focused on the food item. Merely seeing the apple was enough to make her stomach clench and growl, and her mouth start to water.

She heard the quiet words from the pokemon, and deduced it to be the pokemon's name. When the apple was placed on the ground next to her, Breeze could not help herself. She immediately reached for the apple and began chomping down on it, filling her empty stomach as quickly as possible.

Once the apple was gone, she looked back up at the pokemon -Raul, he'd said his name was- and blushed. "T-thanks. I... I really needed that," she said quietly. "I... I'm Breeze of the Morning Rain. I-if you don't m-mind me asking, what kind of pokemon are you? I've never seen a pokemon like you before."

Raul

The golden riolu remained where he was as the mudkip had begun to eat the apple that he had set down for it. The sun bathed his face in an orange glow that complimented his golden fur. The moment the mudkip had finished its small meal. It thanked him in a quiet tone. Nodding in response to her thanks, but was a bit curious as to why it had pushed itself so hard.

Next thing the pokemon had asked was what species he was. Having not seen one like his before. This left him slightly shocked but not visibly. "I'm a riolu..." he said as he looked at himself. He didn't mention the fact that he was a shiny. He figured that once this pokemon knew what species he was. It would figure out that his fur color was not what a normal one would be like. However, with further thought. He would eventually realize that this pokemon probably had little knowledge of his species if it didn't know he was a riolu in the first place.

He eventually sat down as he remained alert for any sudden movements from the pokemon. Keeping in mind the surrounding environments aura. It was a rather calm area. It would be one he would enjoy more often if he decided to settle nearby.

Breeze blinked at the short, informative sentence from the pokemon -a riolu? She'd never even heard of a pokemon with that name. But then, she had led quite the sheltered life in the Tribes -she'd never realized this before.

She attempted to push herself to her feet again, but she was still exhausted, and once more failed, belly flopping on the sand with a soft 'whump.' She looked up at Raul, embarrassed. She probably looked pathetic, unable to even push herself to her feet.

"Soooo, uh... what brings you to this beach?" she asked, trying to sound nonchalant but probably only managing to sound awkward, especially in the face of her failed rise to her feet.

Raul

The golden Riolu watched as the mudkip failed to get up after eating. He knew the feeling it was going through. Using up all of its energy for a task to the point where he couldn't move. Something his Theynin once scolded him for doing but applauded his persistence regardless. It was one of those things that really depended on the situation. If you had the chance to rest without danger. You should do so, from what he was taught.

Having known how it felt. He felt bad for the pokemon known as breeze. After a moment she had then asked what brought him to the beach. However he didn't exactly respond right away. Instead he offered a paw towards the pokemon to help the pokemon come up further on the beach.

"I..." he began but quickly cut out and looked away. Why was he informing the pokemon about what he is doing? He doesn't know the pokemon's intentions yet. However, he knew it wasn't going anywhere any time soon. At least, not very far.

PostSubject: Re: Tiresome Journey   Tiresome Journey EmptySat Oct 03, 2015 7:47 pm

Breeze blinked at the pokemon's cut-off response, and then sighed as he turned away from her. Great. Now she'd somehow offended him, and here she was, completely open to any attack, not even able to rise to her feet, let alone defend herself.

She wished she had access to her normal great storage of herbs -she knew exactly which ones she would use in this moment to give herself the energy to rise to her feet. But it was wishful thinking, as she was as far away from those herbs as she was from the moon. She'd never be allowed to return, even if she wished to.

Breeze laid her head on the sand and closed her eyes, letting out another deep sigh. She'd just have to lay here until some of her strength returned or something attacked her, ending her pitiful existence.

The golden let out a small as he turned back around towards the mudkip. Noticing the pokemon had put their head down against the sand. They seemed to in completely defeated state. He looked towards the pouch that was tied to his wrist. Still about a foot away from the mudkip. He fell as he sat down. A sparkle of light flickered across the wetness that formed around his eyes. Quickly covering his face as he had sat down. The small pouch being held closely.

He didn't say any words as he did so. He remained where he was silently as he had the fresh thoughts of the incident on his mind.

After several more minutes of silence, Breeze dragged her gaze over to the golden-furred "Riolu", as he had introduced himself.

The pokemon was currently sitting a few paces away with his head buried in his front paws. He seemed upset by something, though Breeze wasn't sure what it could be. She hadn't done anything to him, had she? Maybe he was simply very shy?

"Um... I'm sorry if I upset you in some way," she ventured hesitantly, not wanting to upset the pokemon even more than he already was.

Raul

The golden riolu remained where he was as he held onto the pouch tightly. The loss still aching from recent events. It was a lot on this poor creature. ”Theynin.” he whimpered in a barely audible tone. The riolu shook its head no when he heard the mudkip state it was sorry. He couldn’t speak at the moment, but he meant to say that it wasn’t her fault.

If even for a brief second, the trinket within the bag had glowed for just a second. The golden riolu didn’t notice this at all, but should have been noticeable to someone nearby despite the golden riolu holding onto it closely. One could question why he didn’t react to it.

The riolu continued to sit there, only a few paces away from the mudkip. He finally had taken his head out of his paws and looked towards the direction from which he came. He stared at it for a little bit before putting his attention back towards the mudkip. ”I-it” he began but was choking on his own words. ”no-not you.” he managed to get out, but just barely. He looked back towards the direction he came from once more then breathed in heavily.
