Pure Darkness

Zorre narrowed his eyes as he peered through the dark leaves of the Shadowhue Forest. The urgent note from a needy client was held gently between his blades, detailing the frantic pleas of a tiny skitty begging for help. Darkness had descended on the once-bright land that Zorre had known for quite some time, and missions like the one he was heading on today were growing more and more common, a very worrying thing to the Guild and the Police of Grassveil Town.

As it was, Zorre still didn't know what had happened to his former team-mates, Excalibur and Serenity. It was worrying that they had both disappeared before this all had happened, and now he had the additional worry that they had somehow succumbed to the disease that seemed to be spreading across the lands.

After Crysel had disappeared during their hunt for the Gastly in Pricklemist Hill, Zorre had been at a loss of what to do. He'd slowly made his way back to Grassveil, only to find the town in a panic due to the strange disease and the ominous, black clouds covering the skies. Zorre sighed as he dithered at the edge of the forest.

He was confident in himself and his abilities to fight off opponents, but who could fight a disease with tactics of pure physical strength?

Zorre froze as he heard Azeral's words behind him. He hung his head in shame. She'd guessed what he'd meant. He shot a pain-filled glance at the ralts, his scythes falling to his sides in defeat.

"...yes..." He affirmed the ralts' guess with a burning grey staining his cheeks. "Am fit not society for... deserve not, badge that," he gestured at the badge Azeral was still holding in her hand.

He sighed and looked around the forest. He supposed this would become his new home, since he couldn't be a guild member anymore. Not after attacking another guild member. Not being able to trust himself around civilized pokemon, his only choice to live was a forest like this.

"So what if you're feral?" Az said remembering a few times a feral actually helped her out, though that was just because of common goals. "Well, uhh hummm." Az just made noises unsure of what to actually do in this situation, this required a friend or someone close to the person, Az knew nothing about this Pokemon and really didn't know what to say.

Az wasn't really attacked. "You didn't do anything while you were like that, all you did was attack the other feral Pokemon, you didn't make a move to attack me." Az said not thinking he actually attacked.

Zorre sighed at Azeral's words. What was he doing, talking about this to someone he barely even met, anyway?

"Understand not, you. Have COULD," Zorre muttered. It didn't matter. What did matter, though, was the skitty that was still in trouble. Zorre looked around. Surely they had to be close to the ruins by now?

"Help, maybe... time last, skitty..." Zorre said.

(Basically if I roll 1, 2, or 3, we move on to Monochrome Falls and the end of the mission. If I roll a 4 we get lost and wait until the next page to roll again.)
