No, not that berry. Empty
PostSubject: No, not that berry.   No, not that berry. EmptyThu May 28, 2015 1:36 am

Raul was growing awfully tired of the color pink, and for more than just one good reason too. Raul was growing tired of seeing nothing but Pecha berries scattered throughout the entirety of this forest. Naturally, it was called the Pecha Forest, so one should come in expecting to see quite a lot of pink, but Raul decided that shouldn't matter, and that he was tired of searching. Raul was also upset at the color pink, because of the customer who requested a Watamel berry yesterday. The customer, who was very vocal in her requests, was a Snubbull of particular, and expensive, tastes. One who would not shut up, until he agreed to find her one. And Raul was most upset at the color pink, because his companion, Click the Porygon who was following him dutifully, was the one who pointed out that the Watamel berry he had planned to sell, was actually an Oran berry that he had painted the night prior to get this customer off his back. Raul was indeed beginning to get a headache because of all this pink.

Yet despite all these inconveniences Raul pressed on, and on, and on, into the seemingly endless green and pink abyss. Nature could have really done with a better color scheme, he decided for himself.

"Click." Raul commanded, his exhaustion slipping into his voice. "You don't get tired right? Let me ride you."

"Tired? Yes, I do not get tired. No, you may not ride me. That would not be safe, Raul. You have a far higher chance of injury when riding me than you do walking. In fact, I have a higher chance of injury as well." Click spoke without much fluctuation as it walked, scanning the surroundings. It didn't find anything wrong with the color scheme, really only noting the sharp contrast of colors. The Pecha berries were almost at peak ripeness, it reasoned, judging solely by the saturation of pink in the skin and the size of the stems. But the Pecha berries were not their reason for coming here- Click was supposed to be looking out for Watamel berries. It shook its head as they walked, trying to comprehend Raul's thought process. First the Inkay mistakes a painted Oran berry for a Watamel berry- despite Click having informed him prior- and now he's asking to do something that is obviously hazardous?
"Raul, have you checked your temperature lately? Based on my analysis, you may be running a slight fever. It would account for the majority of your symptoms," Click rattled off in monotone, "including your confusing an Oran berry for a Watamel berry, as delusions and generalized confusion is common in feverous individuals, along with your insisting that the Oran berry was indeed a Watamel berry, despite my repeated attempts to inform both you and your customer that this was not the case."
Click walked a bit faster to catch up with its business partner.
"An unrealistically heightened confidence in one's own abilities is another common symptom, Raul. Raul, are you ill? Now you seem to be displaying a dangerous carelessness for both of our well-being, have you eaten anything odd recently? Did you perhaps consume a painted Oran berry, like the one you mistook for a Watamel berry earlier? Paint is not for consumption, you should know this, Raul."
Click rambled on with its interrogation, keeping its eyes out for the berry they were looking for.
