Nocturnal Nightmares

not my mission but whatevs it's just here so we know on the first post:

The moon was high into the sky, while the Jolteon and the Glaceon walked nearby. A deep caw came from above, as his teammate notified the group that he was still around and nearby. The darkness of the night made it difficult for Acro to see Linus, as the dark swooping figure landed on a branch nearby. They had arrived at Misty mire. His team had no business here, but they had remained to assist the glaceon and the jolteon. Hopefully, he wouldn't find yet another small pokemon to think they were their parents...

Linus landed on the nearby branch, seeing almost perfectly fine in the night due to his dark typing and natural nocturnal nature. His body was built for this kind of thing. He looked ahead, the cattail plants swaying in the gentle breeze, as the sound of nothing but his crows, the swishing of the plants and their steps on the ground/water. It was quiet, almost too quiet, but the honchkrow thought nothing of it, and remained while he waited for the group to catch up.

Atop an icy path that seemed to stretch forward like a carpet was a glaceon. Behind him, a jolteon. Even if he wanted to be in the marsh water, he had to keep this path up to keep Keith out of the water and keep it safe for everyone else. He could see just fine.... okay fine enough.... HE COULD SEE IN FRONT OF HIM. As long as he could see directly where he was walking he was fine, besides, he was fairly certain the dark type who could get an aerial advantage would be enough of a lookout for them.

Keith followed along being, hopefully, his new leader. He was careful not to get too close, his fur's constant crackling reminding him that it wouldn't be very fun for the glaceon if they touched. Then it wouldn't be very fun for him because he didn't want to hurt anyone, at least not unless they deserved it! The area was a bit dark and misty, but he wasn't the one leading so it didn't really matter if he could see well. All he needed to do was show that he could keep up and hopefully he would get to be in this glaceon's team....

The first one to speak up was none other than Sova. "As fun as awkward silence is, why are we all being so quiet? Come on, anyone got anything they wanna talk about?", he questioned.
Of course, the jolteon had no immediate reply, not that he expected one from the clear shy guy of the group.

Linus, of course, was silent when the glaceon spoke. He had nothing to say, so why bother with pointless banter? He gave a flap of his large wings and glided to another branch, hardly paying attention to the group now that they seemed to turn to small talk to fill in the void of silence. The honchkrow gripped onto the branch, however the tree groaned at him, not pleased that some bird had decided to force it to hold it up.

"Erm..."Acro started, unsure of what to suggest as a topic, "So uh, who's been to that Fallen Leaf Copse place? I heard it had this really cool treasure. I didn't get to see myself or even go to the island yet, but how about you guys?" As he had expexpected, Linus was silent. He looked to Sova and Keith, expecting some kind of answer from them to fill in the silence and ddepression.
