Clara, after visiting town to see if she can get her ribbons put together as one. Discovering that she would have to do this herself. Clara set off to the forest to find a more permanent material to bind the ribbons together.

The two ribbons she wanted to bind together, was currently being worn. A two sided ribbon, colored gold on one side, and pink on the other. On further inspection this ribbon could be distinguished as two ribbons that had been somewhat stitched together to form a single ribbon. The stitching, not being strong enough to be a permanent bond.

Clara had been traversing the path along the forest's entrance. Silently walking along the shadows from the trees. The place wasn't her most favorite segment of the forest. It was sometimes considered, the deeper part of pecha.

She traveled the path, watching how the shadows moved along with the trees in the gentle wind. Despite being a bit darker here then in pecha. She enjoyed nature, however it was shown. Being in a pretty good mood after going on that adventure with her new friend. The gold ribbon was proof of their new friendship, from what she was told. Finding the joy ribbon along the adventure, she wanted to combine the two items to show when and where they became friends. Giving more reason to find a method to bond these items together better.

The darker shades of pecha. - Page 6 Empty
PostSubject: Re: The darker shades of pecha.   The darker shades of pecha. - Page 6 EmptyWed Jun 24, 2015 7:01 pm

Sova prepared to get going, seeing that the other two were ready and the bystanders were distracted.  Then he remembered what they were here for.  "Oh, wait....  You wanted some silk, right?  Well.... there's three unconscious spiders around here somewhere....  Look around and we might be able to find some of the webbing they used to attack us," he suggested, remembering that the spiders had used silk-based attacks quite a lot in the battle.
Maybe the group could find some, he figured.  Of course, it would be difficult given the silk was white and due to him.... the entire area was now covered in white.

Dusk listened to the glaceon's suggestion and nodded in agreement.  However, despite being considerate towards the ralts, she was also thinking about herself.  "How about if I find some, you give my ribbon back?," she proposed.

Sova pretended to consider the idea for a moment just to mock the eevee.  "Mmmm.... no.  How about this; You do everything I say until we're out of here, THEN I give you the ribbon?," he replied.

Dusk hesitated for a moment, before reluctantly replying, "Fine, but you'd better hold up your end of the deal."

While the glaceon was not above lying if need-be, he was actually telling the truth.  If Dusk managed to not go against him for the rest of the trip, he would give the ribbon back.  It wasn't his only bargaining chip and it wasn't even his to keep, after all.

Clara nodded as Sova asked if she wanted some silk. She then realised where Sova was going at. They had repeatedly used web based attacks. She could look around the ground for silk that can be used. With no luck at first she than paid attention to what they were going on about relating to the eevee's ribbon.

The ralts didn't really want to interfere with what was going on there. So she half ignored what was going on, but was glad that they came to an agreement rather quickly.

She then began to look around the ground for any strands of web that was still visible. Despite her attempts, she wasn't able to find any that easily. She then retraced some of the steps she had done as they had gotten attacked by the spiders. Eventually she found on long strand of web and she went to touch it. She wasn't sure if it remains sticky or not. Hopefully, it wasn't though.

The darker shades of pecha. - Page 6 Empty
PostSubject: Re: The darker shades of pecha.   The darker shades of pecha. - Page 6 EmptyThu Jul 02, 2015 2:19 am

Sova, despite doing his best, was having difficulties searching for silk. More-so, he was having difficulties focusing with the three flowerlings frolicking around in the snow. On top of that, he knew it wasn't going to be easy in the first place to find white silk in white snow. Honestly, though, he would have had difficulties focusing on such a boring task in even the best of circumstances. Fighting was fun to him, not item hunting. Actually, he'd even found difficulties focusing on fighting. It wasn't always like that for him, but near the time he'd evolved, he'd.... changed.

Dusk got right to searching for silk, hoping to get on Sova's good side and get her ribbon back faster, despite being told already that finding silk wouldn't help. Still, maybe it would! The glaceon was constantly claiming to just be worried about her being able to take care of herself, so maybe if she showed to be capable of.... things, she could get her ribbon back faster! To her disappointment, though, she noticed that Clara seemed to have found something, presumably some of the silk. It was good news, but she felt a bit disappointed that she wasn't the one who'd found it. "Did you find some?," she questioned, for clarification's sake.

Clara looked towards the eevee for a moment with a nod. As she picked up the silk, it seemed to break apart as she lifted it. It seemed to have froze somehow... Despite this though, She continued to pick up the pieces she did get out of it. Even if they were frozen. They would eventually thaw out enough to work with. It wasn't like she needed extremely long pieces either way.

"Uhh. I believe so... This is the same stuff right?" she asked as she raised one of the frozen shards into the air to show the others.

As she did this, she just noticed the hint of disappointment within the eevee's emotions. Did she perhaps want to find the silk herself?

The darker shades of pecha. - Page 6 Empty
PostSubject: Re: The darker shades of pecha.   The darker shades of pecha. - Page 6 EmptyTue Jul 14, 2015 6:18 am

"Uuuh-," Dusk began, trying to discern whether or not the stuff the ralts had found was the silk they were looking for.
However, before she could do so, Sova intervened. Honestly, this time, she was kind of glad, since she wasn't a silk expert. Buuut there was no way she was going to let him know that.

Sova perked up as it became apparent Clara had found some silk. Or, at least, she seemed to think she had. He saw that Dusk was attempting to discern whether or not it was what they were looking for and decided to just do both of them a favor and clarify. "Yep, that looks about right. Maybe a little more chilled than you wanted it, but it should work just fine once it thaws," he stated, nodding towards Clara.
He received a rather angry look from Dusk as he did so, presumably due to cutting her off while she was in the middle of attempting to figure out whether or not Clara had found silk. Buuut that wasn't a big deal to him.

Dusk merely huffed in response to the glaceon, wanting to give off the impression that she'd had it figured out too and was just mad that he'd stolen her spotlight. In reality, she wasn't sure and was glad to have someone else clarify.

Clara looked towards Sova as he stated that the stuff she found was the same thing she had been looking for. Being a little more "chilled" then wanted. It would still work once it thawed out.

"Umm, alright." she looked back at the silk once more as she counted each piece she had. She needed to get enough to sew together the two ribbons as one item. So she needed at least 3 times the length of her items to be able to properly combine them. So she started to gather as much of the silk she found around the area she had found the previous pieces she had grabbed. Eventually she stopped as she believed she acquired enough for the purpose she had for it.

"Um. Thanks for the help today." she said softly as she looked towards the other two. She was a bit curious to what they were planning next after helping her. The ralts then quickly turned towards one direction once she felt something's emotions brush across her. She wasn't sure if the pokemon she sense was hostile or not... She wasn't sure if it was aware they were there either.

Sova nodded at the ralts' thanks. "It's no problem, really. It's not like we had anything better to do," he replied.
It seemed it was about time to leave, so he figured Dusk was going to start bugging him for the ribbon back around now. Sure enough, the eevee almost immediately spoke up.

"So we're going? Hold up to your end of the deal, then; Give me back m-," Dusk immediately started up, but was cut off by her Lunar ribbon being thrown in her face.
She took the ribbon off her face and put it around her neck, desiring to complain for having it given back in such a rude manner, but deciding on just letting it go and leaving. "Thanks, bye!," she replied in a clearly hostile tone.

"I don't understand what you plan to do with it, though," Sova commented, then simply waited for the eevee's curiosity to get the best of her.
Sure enough, it did.

Dusk, who was just beginning to walk away, turned back around with a confused look. "What do you mean....? I plan to evolve with it!," she questioned.

Sova smirked at the eevee who'd done just as he thought once more. "Aren't you wondering why that hasn't happened yet, then?," he questioned, pausing for only a moment to pull a bell out of his bag.
He dangled the bell, letting its soft chime be heard. "You need this, too, or else you can't evolve with a Lunar ribbon," he explained.
"And since this is mine, I'm under no obligation to give it to you any time soon, or at all. So, if you want it, you're gonna have to prove to me that you can take care of yourself first," he continued.

Dusk just sat and glared at the glaceon, speechless. She didn't quite know what to say or do here, it seemed she had no choice other than to follow him around until he decided she was "ready." When would that even be, never!?

Sova dropped the bell back into his bag and turned towards the ralts, seeing that his little eevee problem had been solved. His ears then perked up as he heard something approaching. Something threatening? Either way, he prepared to fight and handle it quickly so as not to put the others in danger.

Clara looked towards the eevee as it questioned if they were going. Then quickly moving towards the fact that it had a deal with the glaceon... Somewhat demanding to have its end of the deal met. Eventually her demand was quickly met with a ribbon to the face.

Eventually just as Dusk had started to run off, the glaceon made a comment about not understanding what she planned to do with the ribbon. Clara thought for a moment as to the reason he said that. Only knowing that he had used the ribbon to keep her with him at the time. As from what impression she got off of the two, the eevee tends to get in trouble.

As the eevee turned around asking what he meant, she stated that she planned to evolve with it. The ralts eyes widened for a second. She needs the bell! she thought.

Sova then asked if the eevee was wondering why it hasn't happened yet. Only to pull out a bell out of his bag. !!! Watching this unfold, she figured out why he did it... If she truly wanted to evolve, she needed that bell, and to get that bell, the eevee had to comply with his demands, since it is his bell. The other option, was to find their own bell.

However, he had one simple task for the eevee. Prove that it could take care of themselves. It was a simple request, but how hard is it for the eevee to complete such a request? It had to take time for sure...

Eventually something had made it's way into the area. She even started to sense its emotions to a better degree as it got closer. It didn't seem to show any emotions of joy... More of annoyance as it approached.

The darker shades of pecha. - Page 6 Empty
PostSubject: Re: The darker shades of pecha.   The darker shades of pecha. - Page 6 EmptyFri Jul 31, 2015 1:08 am

Sova glared in the direction of the noise as the source finally barreled through the foliage, revealing itself to be a forretress. On one paw, he was disappointed that it wasn't something more dangerous, but honestly, he didn't really expect much from Shadowhue in the first place. On the other paw, though.... this meant he could easily protect the others, even if he was still a little bit worn out. His body temperature dropped, flash-freezing icy armor around his fur and making the air around him noticeably colder as he prepared to end the fight quickly. "I'm gonna do this fast so we can all move along," he stated for the other two to hear.
"Stay behind me."

Dusk didn't really notice the thing approaching until it came through the foliage, both making noise that was hard to miss and revealing itself to her eyes. As she saw the look on its face and Sova preparing to fight, she gathered it wasn't friendly and immediately readied herself to help. "I'll-," she began, but was cut off by an Objection from Sova.
As much as she hated it, she couldn't really go against the glaceon's word now, due to the bargaining chip he had on her.

"No, you won't," Sova stated calmly as the eevee began to speak, already knowing what she was going to say.
The outcome was slightly surprising to him, though. Even though he knew he now had something to get Dusk to do what he said better, he hadn't expected it to work quite this well.... She'd just completely stopped talking! But he'd have to rejoice later, as even though the enemy wasn't threatening to him, it could likely prove to be a problem to the other two if he didn't handle it quickly.

Clara felt the presence of more emotions start to enter the area. Seeming to be a bit more hostile then others. Sova had already started to react to the noise that occurred as the pokemon showed up.

The pokemon that had arrived definitely seemed hostile. Sova stating to stay behind him. As usual, it seemed the eevee was about to fight that decision. However, before a single word was completed, the glaceon stopped her. Stating that she wont assist him. The only surprising thing though, was the fact that she actually stopped attempting to rebel against him.

The ralts only took a step back, staying behind sova. She knew that she would not be able to fight the pokemon herself. She had always hid from them. However, what she doesn't realize. Is the potential she has if she would only learn.

The darker shades of pecha. - Page 6 Empty
PostSubject: Re: The darker shades of pecha.   The darker shades of pecha. - Page 6 EmptySat Aug 15, 2015 11:56 pm

Sova calmly walked forward as the forretress stared him down. He wanted to see if it would be willing to attack him before he actually did anything to it, figuring maybe he could scare it off just by walking confidently up to it. It didn't really seem capable of moving considering it was just a shell, but it'd previously rolled into view quite fast, so it seemed safe to assume that was how it got around because forretress doesn't have Levitate and I'm too lazy to check if the anime ever shows it floating. Sure enough, it seemed he got too close for the big thing's comfort and it came rolling toward him. However, instead of moving, he merely kept walking until it was too close to him to stop, then he put his front paws up and completely stopped the creature's attack.

Before the glaceon could really attack, the forretress suddenly started spinning in place, like a spinning top, which threw him to the side as he was still pressing his paws against it. He landed on his paws and slid to a stop, bumping into a mushroom behind him with one of his back legs on accident. The mushroom then got up and growled, showing that it was actually a shroomish, which prompted the fox to look back. Instead of backing away, he got an idea from this.... As the giant Gyro Ball came rolling toward him, he merely stepped out of the way, just in time to avoid the spores the agitated shroomish began to scatter around. The forretress managed to stop before hitting the little mushroom-thing, but it didn't start moving again, the spores having almost instantly put it to sleep as it neared them.

"Okay, that's done, lets go," Sova spoke up as he walked away from the forretress, seeing that the shroomish didn't seem interested in coming after him.
It probably just wanted to be left alone. It seemed like shroomish usually just wanted to be left alone.

Dusk watched unhappily as the glaceon took on the large opponent, secretly a bit happy she didn't have to. It didn't exactly look threatening, but it looked like a pain to try to hit.... both figuratively and literally. Even Sova seemed to have trouble with its defensive properties, for just a few moments before a conveniently placed shroomish ended the battle early. It was a bit disappointing, since the only fun thing about this trip if she couldn't join in on anything exciting would be at least watching the fights. But it seemed like the trip was probably going to be ending soon, since the ralts got what she needed. As for Dusk, well, she couldn't really go anywhere too far now, since she needed that bell.

The ralts remained where she was for a moment as sova started to make his way towards the Forretress. From her point of view, he had not broken eye contact with the feral. What is he trying to do... she thought to herself as she watched from a safe distance.

After getting close to the pokemon. It was clear that it was too close for its own comfort as it came rolling straight at him. Sova stopped the creature's attack with his front paws. Before Sova was able to do anything. The pokemon quickly started spinning in place like a top. Throwing the glaceon to the side. The little ralts couldn't do anything but watch as the scene unfolded.

Sova had bumped into some kind of mushroom like pokemon. Sensing the annoyance from the pokemon, she knew that it was going to attack for the unwelcome encounter. However, before clara could get anything out of the whole situation. She just noticed a blur of moment head straight towards sova. He jumped out of the way, and the movement ceased as the shroomish had put the forretress to sleep.

Clara remained there, a bit amazed by the quick thinking of the Glaceon's part. If he hadn't reacted fast enough. He would of ended up asleep also. Heck, she knew she wouldn't have reacted fast enough. Even if she did, it would be on reflect.

"Umm... So should we head back?" the ralts asked the two as she picked up the last bit of web she spotted. The amount she got should be plenty. She couldn't wait to get back to get to work on her ribbons.

The darker shades of pecha. - Page 6 Empty
PostSubject: Re: The darker shades of pecha.   The darker shades of pecha. - Page 6 EmptySun Aug 23, 2015 8:18 am

Oh, right, Sova had totally forgotten that the reason he was here was to guard the two weaker members of this little group until they were ready to leave. Since Dusk really had no say at this point, having to leave with him, all that was left was to do was to wait until Clara was ready to leave. According to the ralts herself, that time was now, which relieved the glaceon a bit. He hated having to look out for others, much preferring just having to worry about himself. Oh, the things he could do when he was alone! Sadly, that pretty much never happened, he always had to worry about someone else getting hurt.

"Sure, now.... which way is back?," he questioned, looking around for some kind of indicator as to where the way back to town was.
In all of the fighting, he'd gotten his inner compass all scrambled and was now a bit unsure of which way was "out." However, it wasn't like he was lost, just.... temporarily stalled. With a moment to think, he began to recall familiar things in their surroundings to help him remember which way led out, only to be interrupted before he'd solved this little puzzle.

"It's this way, you idiot," Dusk spoke up as she pointed where the group had come from, with a tone that suggested she was displeased with having to say such a thing.
And she certainly was, because this glaceon was supposed to be an experienced explorer; not to mention he was supposed to be PROTECTING the ralts.... and herself! How could someone who could get lost so easily possibly be so.... well, seemingly competent elsewhere?

Sova glared at the eevee as he was given an insult, not acknowledging that the way out had been given to him. "I will throw the bell in a bramble patch and leave you to try and get it out," he responded with a rather painful-sounding threat, reminding the little fluff-ball he'd issued himself the guardian of that he still had a big bargaining chip over her.

"I don't think you'll do it," Dusk challenged.

Sova continued glaring at the eevee for a moment before getting an idea and smirking. "Alright, then. Clara, you're a ralts, so you can read emotions, right?," he questioned, but since it was meant to be rhetorical, he continued before the ralts could answer.
"Read mine, then. Tell me, am I bluffing?"
He was behaving in a cocky manner, and that was because he was completely willing to just throw the bell into a patch of thorns and watch Dusk struggle to try and get it out if she annoyed him too much. At that, he figured she wouldn't be able to get it and would probably eventually end up submitting to him and asking him for help.

Clara remained where she was as she watched the two start up again. Sova had simply asked which way was back. The eevee sorta snapped at him stating that the way back was that way.

Clara looked towards the direction the eevee had pointed and continued to remain silent as she watched the two. As the eevee had just called the glaceon an idiot. It was most likely going to result in some kind of challenge from her thoughts.

As she watched, it turned out to be true. However, what she failed to realize is that she was just about to be dragged into the discussion. Sova, threatening to throw the bell in a bramble patch to leave the eevee to get it herself. The emotions coming off the glaceon seemed that of one being completely serious.

The eevee challenging that statement. Sova then asked clara to read his emotions to prove it. Asking if he was bluffing. "I... umm..." she began to get nervous about the whole thing. I don't know whether or not he is lying... Wh-why am I being dragged into this.. she thought as she tried to figure out a response. However, she couldn't get another word out after the question.

She didn't want to respond to such a question as she didn't know how to. She didn't want to take sides on the matter, nor did she know for certain what his emotions where. His emotions somehow were harder to read than most. She also hasn't really used her ability to sense emotions enough to know when someone is lying either. She could only get the intentions off them at most currently. Whether those intentions are hostile or not.

The darker shades of pecha. - Page 6 Empty
PostSubject: Re: The darker shades of pecha.   The darker shades of pecha. - Page 6 EmptySat Aug 29, 2015 1:20 pm

Sova waited for a moment for a response from Clara before decided either this particular ralts didn't want to get involved in such a dispute or sucked at using her natural abilities, maybe both. Since he didn't want to push the little thing and upset her, nor did he want to sit here and wait forever for an answer, he just decided to scrap that idea. With a sigh, he spoke up once more, a bit more calm than a moment ago, "Never mind, I guess you'll just have to take my word for it if she doesn't want to say anything."
It was a bit disappointing to not have something to suffice as proof to use against the eevee, but oh well.

Dusk had been curious as to Clara's answer as well, though she didn't know for sure whether or not the whole emotion-seeing thing was true or not. However, instead of clarity, they got something.... less than an answer, to say the least. She figured Sova would press for a real answer, but surprisingly, it seemed the glaceon wasn't interested in that. But she'd thought for sure he would have taken the mean, self-centered way.... huh. It just got harder and harder to understand this guy the more she got to know him.

"Well, as enlightening as that was, aren't we supposed to be leaving? Like.... all of us?," the eevee spoke up, pointing out that they were supposed to be leaving.
She would have tried to continue arguing about the bell, but honestly, she was beginning to worry a bit that Sova would actually be willing to throw it in some random brambles if she didn't stop. While she had her pride, she also had a desire to not throw away her chances at evolution.

"Oh, right," Sova responded, before starting off in the direction that'd been - rudely - pointed out to him moments earlier by the little eevee from Hell whom he'd decided to look after.
