Jak had decided to tag along with Serena to a place called Prickle Mist Hill. He did not know why the place was called that however he did not want to think on it too much. It was a long trip to there in the first place. He wanted to get away from grassveil for a bit because of the recent mass of storms that had been hitting there...

"So Serena... Know anything about why these storms have been coming so frequently lately?" he decided to ask her. "They are driving me insane having to stay inside during them..." he ended.

He continued to walk along the path as they conversed as he did not want to stop. It was a long ways to the destination. He only wanted to have a conversation about it for a bit.

The gastly glared at the snivy. "We.... are notssssss important... Our purposssse is for himssss" they stated as they had dodged the question.

Jak took a moment to think of whether to say if it was him or not. "May I ask who you leader is?" he said as he stepped back a bit. However they stayed closed to him. Staring at him. Jak was feeling a bit uncomfortable about the whole idea of them knowing him. He had never seen them before... Or at least he could not remember them...

The Ghastly looked towards each other and nodded. "Our massssster.... doessss not wissssh to have hissss name ssspoken of....." they said in unison...


'Seriously! How are they speaking at the exact same time like that!' Jak thought for a moment.

(OOC NOTE: Please don't attack just yet. Still a little bit more dialog. Leaving gaps for your own dialog.)

Still giving them her cold stare that most cowered when they saw it, the Snivy countered. "You will tell us who your master is or we'll give you a big whooping." She snarled menacingly. usually Serena wasn't like this, but she had to be forceful, if the Gaslies didn't speak, she would make them one way or another. The grass kept up the cold stare. This usually never failed.

"It'ssss a sssspiritomb.... We do notssssss know of itssss name....." they said in unison yet again...

"We.... Are truly ssssorry for thissss..." they said as one of them began to glow all around along with Jak. He was all too familiar with the feeling. The move psychic was being used on him to hold him in place. "Let me go!!" he shouted as he built up a powerful flame. However he was then had his mouth forced shut with the psychic energy.

"None of that now...." said the currently glowing gastly. The other one had two nails form in the air.

Jak's eyes grew wide as he recognized the move. One of the nails was floating by the other gastly while the other one was pointed towards the none glowing one...

Serena released Jak from the move by using Vine Whip on the glowing Gastly, also knocking the nail from it. "Don't you dare......." She said, delivering the glare again. The Snivy would've preferred not to use Leaf Tornado at the moment, because she felt these two would've been harmless if they had left them alone. Honestly, what was the point of cursing the other Gastly if Jak was held in Psychic? This confused the grass type a little.

"We mustsss do whatsss the masssster requestssss" They replied after the snivy knocked the nail out of their reach.

Jak winced at the thought that their master wanted him dead...
The gastlies then released their grip on Jak.

"To kill others?!" Jak shouted at them after they had released him. "Why?!" he asked them angrily.

The two gastlies looked at each other... "He believessss those living.... Musssst die to feelssss his pain....."

"That is the dumbest thing I've ever heard," Serena said. What Pokemon in their right mind would think THAT? None of her friends ever thought anything of teh sort, so why should anyone else? This was the dumbest thing ever! Just why?! Shaking her head, she kept glaring at the Gastlies.

"Hmmm." The too gastly seemed to think for a moment. The too then sighed and agreed. It was stupid.... "We are sssorry..." they stated.

Jak was a bit shocked to hear that from someone that wanted to kill him for a moment...

"It isssss sssstupid....." the stated. They genuinly felt bad for their attempt...

They both then dropped a box of some sort and began to turn around. The box on the ground looked pretty ^{Pretty Box}

Jak was at a loss for words when they went to leave.... They seemed to have lost the will to fight...

((Encounters Still Required: 1 Warp Orb, 1 Quick Seed, 1 Fletchling, 1 Kricketot))

Serena looked at them with pity as they left, and noticed the box they left behind. Picking it up, she noticed it was a Pretty Box. 'This is interesting. The more items the better....' She thought, intrigued. Looking at Jak, she smiled slightly. "You know... when they put it that way, it makes me feel bad...." Serena told him.

Jak sighed at the thought. "It is sad... I don't understand who would wan...." Jak went to say but stopped as he saw an image flash in his mind... [Brief image flash]
Fire all over a village. A lone charmander standing in the center watching its destruction. It looked towards a hill and saw a spiritomb laughing as it watched the destruction unfold.

((NOTES: No time has passed during this flashback He saw an image... It was instant...))

He did not continue his sentence... He stood there staring for a moment with a tear in his eye. Clearing showing he was really upset by the look of his facial expression...

Serena patted Jak on the back. "It's ok. Past memories come and go like that..." She said. Suddenly, noticing and Orb and a seed on the ground, she picked both up and turned to the Charmander. "Which one do you want? Neither of them really have any use to me unless I'll be using the seed in Dandy's Dye shop." The Snivy said, managing a smile.

Jak looked towards Serena. She had patted him on the back as she stated that past memories can come and go the way they were to him... "This one memory... Is not my most pleasant one..." he said as he still had the tears in his eyes. "It was a spiritomb that lead the attacks..." he stated so he would not have to mention it later... He looked up and noticed Serena had found something on the ground nearby. It was an orb and a seed. "You can keep the seed then." he said as he accepted the orb. "If that is the only item of some use to you. It's best to let you have it. I can find a use for the orb sometime."

Serena nodded. "Let's get moving before something el-" She was cut off by the cry of a Fletchling, and the eerily terrifying song of a Kricketot. 'DANGITALL!' The grass type thought irritably. Lunging at the Kricketot, she used Leaf Tornado. The insect Pokemon went sailing into the tree they had been standing by. However, the Fletchling had other plans.

Jak heard an eerie song that a nearby Kricketot had starting playing. Serena lunged at the bug type using Leaf tornado and knock it into a tree that they were standing by.

Then a Fletchling came by flying close to Serena with a glowing silver wing... ^{Steel Wing}
Jak saw the bird pokemon fly at a low enough height for him to jump at it as it came towards Serena to bring it to the ground.

As it got close enough he jumped at it and grabbed it as he fell back down. The steel wing hit him as he did this causing him to flinch as he held onto the pokemon. "Quit it!" he growled towards the bird as he held onto it. It was struggling to get away from the charmander.

While it was still in Jak's grip, Serena started using a combination of Tackle and Iron Tail to get rid of the fire-normal type. Whacking it one last time, the bird's head finally slumped to the ground and its eyes closed as it went unconscious. "That wasn't too hard.." The grass type remarked. Helping Jak up, she gestured for him to follow her through Pricklemist.

Jak looked up at serena. He felt a bit bad for the bird... "hmmm. I told you to quit it..." Jak sighed as he said that when he left the bird as he got up with the help of Serena.

She gestured him to follow. He did so without a word after that. He had the image still fresh in his mind of the destruction that stupid ghost type caused to his town... He also felt bad for the bird. However there is really no reason to feel bad as most feral pokemon can't be reasoned with... From what he could tell that is...
