First topic message reminder :

Kira checked her surroundings in the copse. It seemed peaceful enough at the moment, and she'd heard word of there being a shrine at the end of the dungeon. That would be interesting... and possibly treasure would be there! That excited the Lucario, for she loved treasure, but never knew why herself. Delving deeper into the dungeon, she was walking faster than she normally would, probably out of excitement. The place was interesting enough, anyway. The aura Pokemon looked around closely, to see if there were any hidden items or anything to be found.

Sighing, Kira wondered if the dungeon had anything else besides the shrine, ferals, or leaves, for that matter. The endless amount of vegetation was making the Lucario sick of being here already, especially because it was always the same color mashup wherever they walked. The fighting type just glowered while they walked.

As the walking was dragging on mindlessly, William began to wonder what all the other Pokémon he had met on his journeys were doing right now. There had been so many Pokémon he had been traveling with, some for longer and more often than others. What were they all doing now? Most likely things much more entertaining than what he was going through now. And to think that the Ghost type had believed for his search for a Joy Ribbon to be annoying. That was long, long ago when he had just become a member of the guild. Oh, how he had complained there. But now it all seemed so tiny compared to what he was going through. Would there be even more arduous tasks in the future? The thought made William worry. What made him worry even more however was a more concrete issue.

This walk seemed to drag on forever in Kira's point of view. This walk was.... very boring. The Lucario decided to ask William about something. "Do you ever get the feeling that you're so bored you can't do anything fun?" She asked him. It seemed like a legitimate question, considering the state they were in as of right now. They couldn't and wouldn't do anything fun around here.. Honestly, it felt like an eternity.

"What? You mean like right now?", William responded, half sarcastically, half honestly.
There really wasn't anything fun to do here. If he didn't get out of this nightmarish place pronto, then the Ghost type would surely go insane. And the world wouldn't want to experience a Ghost type experienced in survival and combat to fall into insanity. For the protection of all Pokémonkind they had to leave as quickly as possible. But still - where was the exit? This was going to take a while.
And thus William just kept on walking, counting the steps he took. How many steps had they taken in here already anyway? It surely was no small number - that was for sure.

"Yes..." Kira said. She felt she could barely speak, because she hadn't in such a long time. Then again, she stayed silent 90% of the time anyway, so it wasn't like it mattered. Her feet and head hurt. Everything felt like it was going by slowly. What was the point of going here when they couldn't get out? It felt pointless. Arceus forbid anything exciting happened here.

Now this was a surprisingly short answer but then again there wasn't much else one could have responded in the first place. And on the topic of places - this one had gone so far beyond monotonously annoying that it wasn't even funny anymore. Would he have had a Fire type move then the forest would likely be a lot less intact once they would finally get to leave. Then again that would make things just even redder and oranger and yellower which were colours the Gengar had seen far too much of already. Maybe he should just close his eyes and keep walking? Since he was unable to bump into anything it should work and it would shut out those annoyingly bright colours at least.

Kira stopped walking and saw something surprising. They'd been going in a circle and made it back to the entrance. "William...." She said. "We made it back to the entrance. We can leave now..." The Lucario finished. They were free of the endless boring maze of boringness! Yay! No more green, red, yellow or brown! Freedom from the copse!

"We...went in circles...the entire time?", the Ghost type stammered, not knowing whether he should be happy or angry. He felt like exploding, but because of which emotion he could not decide yet. On the one hand they would finally be able to leave this wretched, accursed place but on the other hand having walked for so long without getting anywhere was infuriating to say the least.
Sighing, William decided not to respond for the moment, trying to sort out his feelings first. Maybe he would know how to feel after having had a good night's sleep at the Grassveil Guild?

"Apparently, yes. It's infuriating and happy at the same time. I eman, we walked for at least two hours, but we went in circles so we can go home. Very confusing emotion-wise." Kira said, still dumbfounded. At least they could go home... but she was still mad at the same time that they had been walking in circles. The Lucario did her best to regain proper control of her emotions, and gestured for William to follow her out.

The Gengar meanwhile was more than happy to follow the Lucario's invitation. He really didn't want to have to stay here any longer than absolutely neccessary, and that time had long since gone past. Almost would he have stormed straiht out of the dungeon, ignoring everything in his wake. But he managed to restrain himself to walk out of the area with the Lucario. Barely.
But still there was one question. Why did William feel the compulsion to keep on returning to this place?
What was it that was affecting his mind so much that it simply refused to let him go?
No matter now. Now was the time to return home and relax before the madness would claim hold of the Ghost type's mind.
