The copse's secrets

Jak {13} ^{-11 from entry}
After recently returning from his trip to the Silent Temple ^{Monochrome Ruins} Jak decided to walk around town before entering after his long journey. He was not yet ready to go back to town. It has probably been a good day or two since he got back from the temple..

He is currently west of Grass Veil. He felt as if something was calling him that day. He decided to wander around the area's just outside of town. He had no clue what was calling him. He had no sense of direction of where it was coming from. At some point in time he noticed a large lake. It had a vibrant display of colors from orange to yellow. The colors of autumn. "Wow... That is beautiful." he said as he walked towards the lake. The feeling of being called got a little stronger as he did. He took notice. He looked further out in the lake to see an island covered in with many trees of different colors that was expected during fall.

He took notice of the stones further along the side of the lake that led to the center. They seemed to be placed just close enough together to be used to jump across to the island. He decided that this would be a great chance to explore somewhere new. He walked towards the stones and looked at the water and back at the stones. He knew if he had fallen into the water it would be big trouble. The charmander grinned and decided he would take the chance. He started jumping from stone to stone across the lake eventually he got the the center where the island was located. It was far more beautiful there then he had expected. All the colors of fall were there. Even if it wasn't the time of the season yet.

"What is this place...." he said to himself.

Noel smirked as she looked at Jak. "Ready for this?" She asks knowing her probably was considering they were here right now so no backing out now. She gave a small breath out as she walked into the dungeon ready to face whatever was inside of the dungeon. She knew it wasn't something to bad that awaited then so they should be fine she had enough revive seeds for the both of them right now. She did still feel the hostility in the air.

Jak nodded as they entered. He looked up in the trees he just noticed them starting to move. The wind had picked up to a gentle breeze in the forest. Just enough to stir the leaves in the tree's. Jak stared at all the colors around them as they walked along the forest path.

Jak looked ahead of them along the path. He did not see anything too obvious from what they had traveled through so far. It seemed to be quite peaceful actually with the exception of the hostile air that came with the dungeon.

Noel looks at the large dungeon for a second before walking into it alongside Jak it looked peaceful there so she didn't know what to expect. She did hit a big root as she walked on but since it came out of the ground she kicked it over and hit nearby tree.

She looks at the Root and smirks. "Heh good thing I didn't trip. That would be embellished" she said with a small laugh before walked on trying to see anything that was there.

Jak took notice at the shape on the root. He figured it could be used for something. He put it in his bag for now and decided if he needed more space he would aimply toss it.

If needed he would burn it.
Noel had a small laugh about almost tripping on it. "Careful. The root might want to fight back" he chuckled lightly.

He continued to walk along the forest path.

"Well if it does I'm sure the brave Jak will save me" she says with a smirk as she walked forward. "You know there is something here, a treasure which is supposed to be great" she said with a light chuckle as she moved. She wondered how Jak was feeling about her considering she broke down right in front of her. But she wouldn't say anything unless he did.

Jak looked at Noel. That joke hit him in a blind spot. He had no clue how to respond to it. Jak was glad Noel was in a good mood. The last time he saw her. It left him feeling very sorry for her.

He looked towards Noel. He did not want to ask about what happened for fear of making her upset.

"It is quiet here..." He said to Noel.
The only thing other than their voices that could be heard was the wind blowing against the tree's leaves. He looked towards some of the tree's and noticed something on one of them ahead of them...

Noel walked on looking at the tree's. "Ya one of my friends would love the quiet like this" she said not bothering to name this friend considering she didn't think Jak knew her at all. "Gummi" she said as she pointed to the small object near them. She then felt odd like something was looking at them from a distance. She turned her head to face whatever thought could mess with Noel. "I sense something" she said to Jak as she waited.

Jak {12} ^{-1 from encounter}
Jak picked up the gummi. As he did Noel said she sensed something as she turned towards the direction of what that something may be. Jak looked over there and he saw two Dustoxs. He did not notice any items over there.

He built a flame and waited for the dustoxs move. He was not sure if they were hostile. He stood still as he waited. He watched the dustox release an orange powder as the wind change directions towards him an Noel.

"Stun Spore!" he said to noel as he jumped off to the side preparing the last bit of his flame. He then charged the first dustox. As he got closer to have his ember hit it without giving it a chance to get away.

Something caught his eye cor a second. A random Blue leaf on the ground. He ignored it for now as he hit the dustox.

Noel smirks as she then uses her quick attack to get out if the way with ease as she smirks at the Pokemon. "Just try to keep up" she said as she dashed over and slammed her fists into both if them sending them into a nearby tree and ?as Noel lands. Dashing forward she jumps out and slams her heel into one sending it straight to the ground as she force palms the other away and into another tree knocking it out as she did. "Don't mess with me" she said with a smirk as she turned to face Jak. "Let's go" she said as she walked onward. She stopped and looked at a small Leaf. "Huh" she said as she picked it up

Jak looked at Noel after she had knocked out both dustoxs.
Seemed a little overkill for the one he had already hit but. Seemed like Noel was in a hurry for something all of a sudden.

He looked back towards the leaf he thought he saw. Noel was by it and she picked it up. It had a odd blue color to it. "What kind of leaf is that...." He said as he walked up to Noel. "That definitely does not look like its part of the forest..." He then said noting the fact that all the leaves in the area were either orange and yellow. Also the shape was completely different from the others.

He also felt compelled to keep it somewhere safe. "We should hold onto it for now." He said.
He also notice a Scarf a couple feet away from where the leaf was and a Lum berry sitting on top of it. "Odd. Who would leave this here..." He said then he looked at Noel. He picked up the scarf and the berry. "What kind of scarf is this..." He said to himself. He had never seen one like it before. It had an odd pattern in it. He asked Noel if she wanted either of the items.

He was starting to feel a bit hungry. He decided to have something sweet. It also would give him a huge burst of energy if he needed it.

He looked in his bag and took out a sitrus berry.
He ate the berry with a great big smile on his face.

Noel looks around for any more Pokemon who decided they wanted to fight. "Anymore" she asks nothing a she turned around to see two Pokemon looking at her "guess so" she said as she jumped back and hit her feet on the tree. She then jumped off it using the momentum to deliver a hard Force palm to the deer as she goes with it leaving Jak with the Silcoon.

She then jumps around and faces the deer.

Jak {17} ^{- 10 from encounters}
Jak looked at the Silcoon. It glared at him and shot a string straight towards him.
He quickly built a flame and melted it before it got to him. He then went charging towards it with his claws extended as he built a flame. Shooting some of the flame onto his claws. He then scratched the Silcoon with a vicious flaming scratch attack. After he had retracted his claws and blasted the rest of the flame at the silcoon. It fell over. It seemed to have feinted. He immediately felt his paw's burning. He shoved them into the ground quickly and put out the lingering flame on his claws. 'Ouch. Seems I missed a little while attacking.' he thought to himself. It stung a little bit. Not to badly as he reacted fast enough to put out the flame.

He looked up towards Noel who was now facing the deer. He knew Noel was going to be fine with it so he looked around the area to make sure there were no other pokemon in the area. He noticed a odd looking stone on the ground in front of him with what looked like a bolt of lightning in the middle. Obviously it was not actual lightning but the way it looked. It certainly looked like it was.

He picked it up and put it in his bag for now. He would ask Noel later what it was. He had a good idea what it was but wanted to confirm it first.

He then looked around once more. He heard a sound and swung around to the direction of the sound.

Noel smirks as the deer charges her, she jumps out if the way and then side steps over and hits the Pokemon. It charges again as Noel hits it right in the head with a Force palm knocking it out as she smiles as walks back to where she left Jak.

She almost stepped on another leaf but decided not to as she then picks it up and looks at it careful. It looked like the last one so she put it into her bag and walked back to where Jak was. "Yo" she said with a smile.

Jak {15} ^{-2 from encounter}
Jak looked down as he stepped on something. He almost jumped out of his skin after realizing it was a blast seed. "Oh man! I am so lucky right now." He said as he moved out of the way to pick up the seed. He could have been blown up right there if he was a little heavier.

He took a look at the seed. It had a small crack from where he stepped on it. He kept it in his hand so he could use it as soon as possible. He did not want to put it in his bag in that state. He looked up at Noel as she casually just said Yo to him.

"I wanted to ask you if you wanted this scarf and the berry that was back there. But we sort of got attacked." He holds up the Lum berry and the Trap scarf.
"Also what kind of scarf is this?" He asked, as he had not seen this kind before.

Noel looks at the item's and points at the scarf. "That's a trap scarf. While you go over traps they will not affect you, even if they are meant to benefit you" she said as she pulled out the two leafs and looked at them. "I found these over there. I think they are used for something but I don't know what, I sense death on them" she said we she put them away
