PostSubject: An Autumn Quest   Mon Nov 10, 2014 3:29 am

First topic message reminder :

A small Vulpix was sitting by the edge of a lake, her head dipped as she drank in the cold, fresh water. The Fox Pokemon seemed relaxed, at peace besides the lake, which almost seemed to have been dyed red and orange from the perpetually Autumn island. It was clear what had drawn the young explorer here, rumors of treasure and a new Mystery Dungeon. And for once, those rumors had proven true.

It had been something of a trip to get here, a three day long walk through Serene Cave. But it was already worth the journey. Who knew what was waiting to be found here? If she was lucky, then maybe she could be one of the ones who found something. Even if she wasn’t, well, she wouldn’t have really minded. Wasn’t half the fun in these things trying to find the treasure in the first place? Assuming there was a treasure to be found, anyways.

And so Lumina sat up, her guild bag slung over her back and a light blue Heal Ribbon wrapped around her right forepaw. She stepped gingerly over a path of stepping stones, cautiously trying to not fall in the water. She knew how to swim just fine, but being in water for too long might be harmful to her, being a fire type and all.

As she neared the island, she gazed into the forest, trying to tell what might lie ahead. She shifted her Treasure Bag, taking in the scent of the crisp Autumn leaves. Whatever was waiting for her, she would be ready.

"Yeah... I guess it might be a good idea..." He said, looking up again, walking around, looking for a good spot, until he tripped on a small twig, and fell into a bush and onto the other side, he recovered from the fall ather quickly, as he brshed of some leaves that were on him, realizing they he was in some sort of clearing, it was strange to see this, but it would be a good spot to camp, "Over here!" He called out.

Lumina watched as Raze tripped and fell through a bush, walking over to the Pichu to make sure he was alright. She doubted he was seriously hurt, since he had only tripped, but it would be polite to check. And her suspicions were correct, he didn't seem to be badly hurt, if he was injured at all... if anything, maybe it had turned out for the best, for he had stumbled into a small clearing. "Noel? You think this would make a good campsite?" She wondered aloud, glancing around the clearing. Lumina suspected she would say yes, this place looked like it would do.

Noel walked over but then her senses caught something "look out" she said as she dashed over and blocked a silvery type of air flow coming at her companions, thanks to Noel being a steel type it didn't hurt as badly as it would the others as she faced the attackers, it was a wurmple another flying bug and three bears all facing the group of three, Noel swore as she got into a fighting stance ready

"More?!" He growled slightly, seeing the Flying-Bug type in the air, he immediatly went for it, using Thundershock to attack it, since it was weak against electric type attacks, he didn't dash forward this time, since all the electricity he had used was now taking a heavy toll on his stamina, using Volt Tackle seemed like a very bad move at this point, so he decided to hand back a little, unlike in the other battles, as the Wurmple began using Poison Sting to attack.

Lumina growled, getting back in a fighting stance. More Pokemon, really? Just when they had been getting ready to rest? Well, since they were going to be resting very soon, the Vulpix decided she could afford to use up her stamina. She raced towards the Wurmple, a faint orange glow emanating from her fur as she used Flare Blitz to knock it aside. The smaller bug type shot another Poison Sting at her, the small dart burying itself in one of the Fox Pokémon's back legs, but she forced herself to ignore it. She finished it off running at it once more, her fur carrying a purple glow this time as she used Payback to slam into it and knock it unconscious.

Noel barely managed to raise her leg to avoid a claw from the bear, she had to dodge all three of them as she kept moving around, it was a little strange to see her do that but this was a fight as she quickly kept beating them, she then force palmed one away and did the same to a second, she looked at the last and threw him into a tree with a sky uppercut which sent the Pokemon flying away

Raze looked at Noel and Lumina, they seemed to have dealt with the other feral Pokémon with ease, until he noticed a small dart like object in one of Lumina's hind legs, realizing it was just like the one that poisoned him not so long ago, he got slightly worried, "You ok Lumina?" He asked her

The Vulpix glanced down at her leg. She considered what to do briefly - if she pulled it out, it would probably worsen the bleeding, but if she kept it in she risked getting poisoned. Frowning, she twisted her head around awkwardly and managed to pull out the small poisonous spike, spitting it out somewhere in the bushes. "I'm fine." She confirmed, forcing herself not to look at her leg. It would be fine if she just let it heal naturally, she figured. A little cut like that wasn't worth wasting an oran berry over, though she did have some in her bag.

Noel cracks her knuckles as the rest of the Pokemon run. "Ya get outta here" she says as they leave. Noel turned back to face her teammates and saw lumina take out the spike, walking over she looked at her friend. "Good thing we decided to make camp here huh?" Noel said with a small smirk as she looked around the area, it was a good spot

"Yeah, we'll be able to rest here for some time, unless wild pokémon find us, which I hope they don't..." He said, he couldn't wait to be able to rest, his was getting tired, and he was pretty sure the others were getting tired aswell, "Well, let's not delay any longer, it's been a long day today, and I think we could all do with some rest."

Lumina sat down, nodding simply as Raze decided this would be a good place to rest. "The feral Pokémon might find us while we're sleeping... maybe someone should stay up and stand guard." She murmured, thinking this would be a good idea. She was starting to get worn out by all this travelling, though, and the Pichu also seemed tired... maybe Noel would be up for it? Her gaze wandered to the Lucario, considering whether or not to ask her if she wanted to stay awake.

Noel looked around the area, it was a clear field so Pokemon would have a hard time sneaking up on them, Noel looked at lumina and smiled. "Don't worry I got it, I'll stand watch" Noel said with her normal smile, she could tell once the vulpix looked at her, and she liked making her think she was psychic

"Thanks Noel" He said gratefully, it was good to know that there would be no risk of being attacked in the middle of the night, and Noel would be great for it too, her aura abilities would be usefull for the job, "Well, all he have to do is set up camp right?" He said, looking at the both of them

Lumina only nodded as Noel seemed to guess what she was thinking - the Lucario knew her too well, it seemed. She looked back at Raze, repeating the act of nodding her head once more. "Yes. Setting up a campfire shouldn't be much of an issue, for obvious reasons." Namely, that the Vulpix could summon raging flames out of the ground. She didn't feel at all uncomfortable with the concept of sleeping in a Mystery Dungeon, this would be far from the first time she and Noel had done so.

"I'll go get some wood over here" Noel says as she walks over to a rather large looking tree, she smirked wanting to knock it over but decided that the noise would of been bad. She instead jumped up and hit of of the branches with her force Palm, the initial sounds was slightly loud but she caught it.

She repeated this action a few more time, it seemed to cause no direction for the feral Pokemon around. She then walks back with a large wood pile that blocked her face, moving her head so she could see the middle. "I think I went a little to overboard" she says with a small laugh
