| Kira checked her surroundings in the copse. It seemed peaceful enough at the moment, and she'd heard word of there being a shrine at the end of the dungeon. That would be interesting... and possibly treasure would be there! That excited the Lucario, for she loved treasure, but never knew why herself. Delving deeper into the dungeon, she was walking faster than she normally would, probably out of excitement. The place was interesting enough, anyway. The aura Pokemon looked around closely, to see if there were any hidden items or anything to be found.

| Drearily the Gengar looked from tree to tree, from leaf to leaf. It had been quite a while since he had first set foot into this dungeon and slowly but surely he was getting rather sick of it. With enough time having passed, all these vibrant reds and oranges could put quite a strain on someone's eyes. If William's eyes wouldn't have been of a piercing red already, he was sure that they would be by now. Why was he even still here? Not even the Gengar himself was sure about that. The only thing he knew was that he had some strange kind of compulsion to stay here, refusing to leave until...until what actually? Until something happened he didn't know about just yet the Ghost type assumed. Hopefully this something would happen soon. This was getting annoying.

| Kira was not aware of the Gengar that had entered shortly after her. Her main goal was to get to the shrine, and found out what was in it, if anything good was there. Smiling briefly, she continued on in her briskly fast pace. Still looking at her surroundings to search for anything, she found nothing. Not that the Lucario wanted to find any items at the moment, she was just interested in everything in her current state of excitement. The aura Pokemon decided to just focus on what was ahead and calm down. | |

| William however hadn't even come to know of the existence of a shrine in the area. It was rather surprising actually, considering the length of time he had spent in this area already. Had he been walking around in circles all this time? It would certainly explain why there constantly were other Pokémon to fight and why their groups always seemed to consist out of the exact same species. Then again such a group should have learned to just run away instead of trying to do battle after the second or third defeat or so. But these were feral Pokémon. Maybe whatever it was that made them feral simply deactivated this kind of response in their minds? In any case - just as he had done for the last hours William kept on wandering through the Copse, hoping to finally make a discovery. | |

| Kira heard the sound of crushing leaves behind her. Turning around, she saw a Gengar several feet behind her. 'Oh dear Arceus..... what is a Gengar doing here?' She thought in utter confusion. Trying not to stare, the Lucario turned back around, attempting to regain confidence and a calm aura around her. Succeeding, the aura Pokemon continued walking through the copse, looking for any sort of sign of which direction the shrine was. Shrugging, she made a wild guess, and Kira walked Northeast. | |

| Kira's eyes widened as two Pokemon appeared, jumping from a tree. Getting into fighting stance, immediately went for the Sentret, and used Brick Break. The Sentret spun once on it's tail, then fell. It got back up, and Kira used Quick Attack after backing up and charging it. The Sentret was down. Loking at the Phantump, it seemed it was charging the Gengar that had been taking the same path as her. The items on the ground were not noticed yet. | |

| William had been too surprised seeing the Lucario appear out of nowhere so he had found himself unable to react quickly enough to stop the Phantump from charging straight into him. With the force of impact knocking him into a tree - or through it rather - the Gengar stood up again, groaning in pain. This little Grass type was going to pay for this. Summoning all the tiredness, the annoyance and the pain he had experienced from having to wander around this place for so long, a ball of darkest shadow was launched at the attacker. Just as soon as it had left the Gengar's hands a wave of relief washed over him. It was one application not many Pokémon had thought of. Weaponizing one's negative feelings and shooting them away was surprisingly good therapy.

| Kira noticed a Sun Ribbon on the ground next to her and picked it up, putting it in her bag. 'This might come in handy... I'll have to figure out what to do with it.' She thought. The Lucario looked at the Gengar, and saw he was fighting the Phantump that had charged him. The grass/ghost type now lay on te ground, unconscious from the Shadow Ball the mysterious stranger had used. 'He's strong...' Kira thought. 'Hopefully he won't fight me...' She added worriedly. Moving on at a brisk pace, she didn't look back. | |

| Seeing his foe lying on the ground, defeated as well as the mysterious Lucario vanishing somewhere deeper into the forest, the Gengar decided not to think about the situation too much, now wandering off in another direction himself again. He didn't want to be around for the defeated feral Pokémon to get up again after all. That would certainly be unpleasant - having to defeat them all over again. He couldn't help but wonder about the Lucario though. What was it doing here, why hadn't it attacked him and if it was on his side then why hadn't it tried to initiate a conversation? | |

| Kira kept going, but turned around once to see the Gengar following her. "Who are you...?" She said, just loud enough so the stranger could hear. The Lucario felt a tiny bit intimidated by his appearance. Ghost types were always frightening, unless you knew from the start if they were friendly. In this case, Kira didn't, so she was scared like any other Pokemon would be. Shaking her head, she tried to ignore him. | |

| William found himself a bit surprised. He was sure he had chosen another direction than the one the Lucario had wandered off into. Maybe this was the Mystery Dungeon's doing? In any case - he had been asked a question so he was obliged to answer. "My name is William.", the Ghost type spoke calmly. "And whose acquaintance do I have the pleasure of making here?" William was used to Pokémon being scared of him, so meeting one that appeared to be intimidated, especially one at a severe type disadvantage wasn't all that surprising for him. Still it hurt a bit, considering what he had to go through in his past already. | |

| "I'm Kira... I apologize if I'm making you feel hurt or anything... It's just a bit frightening, given I haven't met a lot of ghost types.." Kira said, feeling a bit guilty as she noticed the hurt expression on the Gengar's face. She felt bad, but it was hard not to be scared. It wasn't everyday you met a Gengar in a dungeon while journeying by yourself. Managing a smile she said, "Pleasure to make your acquaintance." The Lucario said. | |

| "Oh, there is no need to apologize.", the Gengar replied. "I would have been more surprised, would you not have been scared. Ghost types are not a very common sight after all and there are many stories and rumours about our nature. Most of them shockingly far from the truth to be honest." William was once more wondering why it had to be Ghost types that everyone was afraid of and what some of his ancestors had to have done to create such a reputation in the first place. He shuddered at the thought. Better not to dwell on it and focus on the present instead. There was exploration to do. | |

| "I don't listen to all the crap that other people say about Ghost types. I guess you could say I was a bit surprised." Kira said. It was true, all the fables and tales other 'mon said about Ghost types Kira never believed, because no-one stepped up and proved it. It was helpful she was meeting a Ghost type right now, so she could prove if the stories were right or wrong. | |
