The melodies of his music sounded into Ian's ears as the bus chugged along. An arm resting on the window and his face buried into it, his eyes just above the sleeve of his jacket as his grey hoodie covered the back of his head. He stared out of the window vacantly as he listened to the song. He watched trees flash by in a blur, the bus not allowing him to take a good look at the contents within the forest. The 16 year old ignored the outside world, lost in his own thoughts and music.

Wasn't like the bus was interesting anyways, it was practically empty except for a few occupied seats. He was going quite far, and even though his uncle was rich, he preferred the cheap way of going places. Ian was alone on the greyhound seat, who would want to sit next to a boring boy who did nothing but stare into space with headphones in his ears anyways?

"Transmissions echoing away"

Ian wasn't depressed nor happy about this trip, simply bored. Nothing seemed to pique his interest. Just another boring trip to another boring school with boring teachers and boring students.

The boy finally heaved a sigh, if somebody had been watching him they would have noticed that this was his first movement, aside from breathing, in an hour. He didn't feel the bus begin to slope up, nor did he care. He didn't want to go on this trip, he didn't want to be here. What could he do? Run away? Where would he go? He couldn't go to his uncle's, and his parents' house was likely owned by someone else. Ian had no choice but to go and be bored in such a boring place.

Far from the world of you and I, where oceans bleed into the sky.

Up in the front, the bus driver looked onward to the dull road. Her eyes were mesmerized by the road, she had been driving for too long, but at least she would be there soon. This was her last drive before she retired. No more of this boring driving where nobody liked to talk, not like she was allowed to talk to them while driving anyways.

THUD.

The driver screamed in surprise as a small bat sized lizard with light green coloring and crazy swirling designs on its body slammed into the windshield, in her panic the lady swerved on accident as more and more of the Misfit Pygmy dragons slammed into the windshield of her bus.

Ian gave a cry as he was thrown off of his seat and into the isle, he scrambled back to his seat as the bus swerved and shook, before finally it slammed into a railing of the cliff side. It bounced back to the rocky cliff, for some reason the bus driver was still flooring it instead of breaking as they crashed into a broken bit of railing and sailed over the edge and rode down the cliff before crashing into trees.

Ian gave another cry before slamming into the seat in front of him as the bus was halted by the bark of the tree. Above the bus and back onto the road, cars had also swerved to avoid the rampaging bus, and as the pygmy dragons swarmed the area with small screeches and chitters of laughter as if this were all a funny prank. Once one spotted the bus in the crashed forest below, it gave a screech and the pygmy dragons began to clear out, realizing their little prank to scare the humans had gone bad.

Ian's eyes were wide as he slowly picked himself up. There was glass on the floor along and some of the few that were on the bus were passed out. The terrified boy stepped over the either unconscious or dead bodies, his music was still playing, but in one ear. One of his ear buds must have fallen out when he was being thrown around, he didn't pull out the other one, and picked his way through the broken glass to an emergency exit in the back of the bus, seeing as the front door was blocked by a tree.

He looked out to find no road, he followed the landscape with his eye to see the road above them with smoke rising from the roads.

Aukina looked over at the boy as he yelled at the small dragon. "Ha, you two trying to have a shouting contest?" he asked him teasingly, smirking before the woman at the entrance asked them their names. "Name's Aukina, and before we all decide to stand here awkwardly with baby dragons for hours to come, let's go to my car, as far as I know it's the only one still working up on that cliff." With that he began to walk up to the entrance, the little dragon on his shoulder quickly climbing up on top of his head, clinging to it as he walked out of the cave.

Fayt stared at the boy, wondering slightly if he really was scared of a baby dragon, "I'm pretty sure it did nothin' to deserve that yet." she stated simple. She turned back to her dragon when he tapped on her noggin. "Eh, what do ya' want?" The baby nipped at her hair, causing her to blink and sigh. "I don't know what ya' be eaten, but I do have some beef jerky in my pack." So she reached in her pocker instead of her pack and pulled out some jerky, then watched as the small dragon ate it. Is this even good for dragons? she mused quetly, taken notice of the two whom answered her Q's.

Fayt watched the male walk by half listening to what was said, "Hmm, my poor motorcycle has reached it's end, it broke down just as I landed in the clearin'. Quite epically if I might add. But wouldn't it be awfully silly to go to a high way with these babies? Dragons aren't welll like, and the police would probably be here by know. Also how do you attend we climb such a large hill? Oh by the way, I'm Fayt." The rough voiced woman followed the man out, while the baby on her shoulder let out a soft yawn, It seems like I've gotten the quiet one.

"Alright, are you happy now?" Just outside of the cave a girl stood, though she was hardly the strangest side out of the two figures. Next to her stood a large, dark purple beast, who seemed to regard her comment with a simple snort.
"Well, any reason you brought us back here?" Alex crossed her arms as she looked into the familiar cave from the outside. Previously, she herself had been someone who found the cave by accident, along with another group. They had all entered and received eggs, and left. She had been successful in raising her hatchling, and there was another boy that did so as well, but other than that they had seemed to drop contact with one another, and Alex had no idea where they were or how they were.

Earlier that day, the fully grown dragon that stood beside her seemed antsy almost, looking to go somewhere. And so here they were, standing by the cave they had originally met at.
"Well, I assume the reason we're here is inside the cave, not out here." With that said, the dragon simply began to walk ahead, making her way towards the mouth of the cave. Not in a hurry to leave her on her own, Alex jogged forward, moving beside the beast as both stopped by the mouth of the cave. There seemed to be figures inside heading out.
"Hey, are you all okay in there? I don't suppose you found anything strange." She called over, hiding her surprise that others had been called there with a calm tone of voice, hoping that her companion wouldn't scare any of them too much. After all, if they had experienced what she had when she showed up, it probably wasn't their first experience with one up-close.

"Don't yell at it? Why are you all being so calm!? These things have mothers you know, its not like they could have been pulled from thin air, what happens if the parents find them?" Ian stared at the three incredulously. Insanity. Absolute Insanity. This wasn't some video game, usually he was the silent person, but seriously, how could someone NOT say something or be afraid?
The small dragon gave another questioning squawk that could have pierced everyone in the radius's ears.

He couldn't believe this, was he dreaming? These people were just accepting it like some kind of hero in a video game. Dragons were the enemy, they kill people for fun, they were the cause of many many deaths. Who was to say that this wasn't a new way to feed hatchlings when food was scarce?

"Calm down, little dude, that voice looked like he had control over that one dragon, so he probably got control of all these little guys' parents. Not to mention if dragons are anything like birds or reptiles, these little guys either think we're their parents or they'd already be snacking on us. Besides, if you wanna worry about fully grown dragons, there's one coming now," Aukina said as he looked out the cave to see the large dragon making its way towards them. "So, uh, little dude, what was that you said about the parents coming to have us as a snack?" the surfer asked the boy as the dragon made its way towards them, him slowly backing up into the cave. Aukina's small hatchling screeched a few times at the approaching dragon, as if wanting to scare it off. Though it's screech was nowhere as loud as the boy's hatchling.

Fayt raised an eyebrow, looking up into the sky with a hand on her chin. "Well, Didn't the dragon say that we were to raise 'em? If th're were any parents then we wouldn't be doin' this eh?"

The woman glanced at the large dragon approaching them, her own little baby staring untrustingly at it's larger kin. The gamer just tilted her head, watching the purple dragon with slight interest,Eh I met two already, so what's a third? she snorted at her thoughts, attention turning to the young woman standing next to the dragon.

"If anythin' strange mean babe dragons and a strange prophecy, then yes, we did find somethin' strange. Though I do have a question..." She peered up at the large dragon as she walked towards the woman, "Can a baby dragon eat Jerky?"
