((This thread is open to anyone for now!!))
It was a fairly nice day. Small, fluffy white clouds dotted the sky, with a blazing ball of light beaming its rays down on Grassveil Town. A little hot, but not enough to start panting. Pokemon are clustered here and there, chattering, gossiping, arguing. In the heart of the town is a young explorer named Felicity Torva.

The Skitty pawed at her bow, just to make sure it was still there. Feli is just floating around town, wandering about like a Ghost Pokemon. Of course, Feli isn't like a ghost at all, considering she's a Normal type Pokemon. The feline Pokemon padded down the neatly paved streets of Grassveil Town. She lingered by the Springfall Dojo a bit, just to listen to the sounds of battle coming from inside, but she soon moved on. She smiled as she saw the Guild from a distance. She was part of that now, a part of the newly-formed Team Rome. Right at the moment, though, her team wasn't doing anything. So here the kitten is now, just floating about and around.

Acro frowned, if Ever was going to leave he was going to leave. The spiritomb was not exactly proving that it was different from the legends. The archen frowned, but then again it had every right to be offended, after all the oshawott WAS judging her based on something about her entire kind and not her as an individual. He finally spoke, "N-now, i'm sure she didn't mean it or know...maybe her source was just reliable but still wrong?" he suggested.

The Skitty stepped back in fear and extreme surprise. Up until know, the Spiritomb had been calm and wanting to be peaceful. When Ever uttered those words, however, the multi-spirit Pokemon had changed in a heartbeat, turning into a nightmare of anger. When Ko spoke, though, all of the spirits within her howled their fury. This was nothing like how Ko had been talking earlier, nothing like how eloquent she was before. Fear coursed through her head, making Feli light-headed and dizzy. Will she attack?! Oh, no... Ever, why did you have to say that?! No, no, that isn't fair. Anger, anger... Ko's so angry... It's scary. So, so, so, terrifying. But, what had Ever said that was so wrong?!

Feli doesn't have many close friends. She's very picky about who she opens up to. But although she had just met Ever, beginning in a tumble down the library stairs, she felt anger herself. It was just a tiny little flame, kindled by the fear she felt for Ko, and perhaps how scared she was for Ever.

It's hard to make Feli angry. Usually, she's the pacifist, the one who's always trying to calm heated arguments down. This is quite a different situation, however. The Skitty drew herself up, as tall as she could, and glared at Ko. The swirling, hypnotic eyes swayed her, but Feli remained determined. "H-Hey..." the kitten whispered. And then, all of the sudden, it was like a volcano exploded. Feli had never, ever been so angry before, even though she didn't actually have a true reason to be so angry.

"H-HEY!!!" the kitten screamed in a half-hiss. "So maybe Ever had said something wrong! But SO. WHAT?! MAYBE she doesn't know about you, BECAUSE SHE ONLY JUST MET YOU TWO MINUTES AGO. MYTHS will be MYTHS, and some will be TRUE and some WON'T. So is she supposed to know WHICH ONES ARE TRUE and which ones AREN'T?! Oh, yeah, sure, because EVERYONE you meet must be such an EXPERT on those things!!! You're telling HER to leave?! Maybe YOU'RE the one who should LEAVE."

Perhaps she went too far. Feli's flare of anger dwindled into nothingness. "Err, sorry..." the Skitty mumbled, looking at her paws. Ever most likely wouldn't be very happy with her. She can fend for herself! It's not as if she needs a guardian or anything... Of course, Ko probably wouldn't be jovial either.

(The only thing I got from Ko's anger is "I'm gonna have to ask you to leave" I'm such a bad person XD)

Ever suddenly regretted saying those words. How could I be so stupid. Stupid stupid stupid. She knew whatever Ko was going to say, she probably deserved. I can't do anything but read up on books. I'm just a good old gossip. She thought that she could do almost nothing in fighting? Ha, that was merely a joke then.

With every word the Spiritomb, she flinched, and at the end she was practically bowing in submission, her eyes grew watery and she turned to leave when she heard a small voice of Acro, then an even weaker voice of Feli. The Oshawott turned back and was about to say 'It's alright...I'll go.' when suddenly the Skitty, who was almost as shy as her, boiled over with rage.

Ever stopped in shock as Feli yelled at Ko, being sure that they were friends and that she would back up the Spiritomb, not her. After suddenly Feli stopped yelling, she bowed down her head, "N-no it's okay. T-thanks....B-b-but...." she couldn't continue, the Oshawott ran out of things to say.

PostSubject: Re: Bumping Into Strangers   Bumping Into Strangers - Page 3 EmptySat Nov 02, 2013 2:01 pm

As to be expected, the two leapt to the oshawott's side. What a cute little pest, stuttering and shaking and sobbing, of course they'd help that one. Help the one who was so ridiculously offensive to her, who labelled them as villains, who recited every bothersome thing recorded in those books to make her look terrible, to make her look like a outlaw in a city. An enemy. It appeared she had made two more due to this little inconsiderate, minuscule, irritating worm. How that made her boil over with rage.

First, the archen. The fossil pokemon may have leapt to her side but at least the fellow was marginally reasonable. Not wanting to cause a scene. But he was not the one getting offended, was he? He wasn't labelled a threat and an evil-doer because books said so. He had no right to speak, to defend them. "Oone shoouuld not baase the single aacts of a spiritomb foor the reest of uss!" she snarled back, whipping her head around to face the bird, her calm and grinning demeanor finally shattering, her frown slipping onto her face with each word they spoke, "Hoow woould yoou like it if soomeoone laabelled you aas a saavage moonster, beecause in the paast yoouur kind had deevoured pidgeys? Woould you be offended if soomeone judged you foor aanother's misdeeeds?"

Ah, the skitty. Her explosion of anger, rage, hate had surprised her considering she was a stuttering mess mere minutes ago. She would have found it absolutely delicious if it were not directed at her, if that furious face were not attempting to leer and glare her down. Each word the skitty hissed and screamed at her, Ko's frown deepened, and her small crescent eyes twitched into a glare herself. Then slowly, after she had calmed down with a meek little apology, the Forbidden pokemon leaned over to her, face inches away from hers: "Peerhaaps I shaall. I don't faancy being in the coompany of thoose who juudge me foor my appeeaarance. Theere are beetter, moore mooral pokemon I caan talk to."

Her purple, swirling body turned to the pest, snarling at each stuttered word they spoke. 'Ever' was its name, wasn't it? She would make note of that for the future. Pests were to be removed even if she had to do it herself. A later date, of course. Ko would have to make note of it in her metaphorical diary. So many things to do for the future, so little time. "Not forgiven," she hissed quietly, allowing those words to sink in for a few seconds more, before finally heaving herself up, preparing to leave.

The archen frowned, he had been trying to help. His thoughts of this perhaps being a misunderstanding vanished with the way the spiritomb acted, "Well you're not exactly proving them to be wrong..." he mumbled. This was the first time he had never really gotten along with another pokemon, he was unsure of what to do because of this. So he simply backed away a few inches from the spiritomb. He made a note to check the outlaw boards often in case this spiritomb's face appeared, then he would know for sure that the spiritomb was no "good" pokemon. The archen wondered if the spiritomb would attack, surely it would have the sense to not to, being outnumbered and out-leveled by a long shot with the cowardly little Archen that stood now by the skitty's side.

"N-No! W-Wait! Don't l-leave..." Feli didn't like not getting along with a Pokemon. Perhaps there was a way to calm the Spiritomb down? "I... Erm, I-I'm sorry for y-yelling like that..." the Skitty's voice trailed away as she fought to find what else to say. At a loss for words, the kitten stood awkwardly for a moment in silence. "Err. H-How 'bout we just forget this ever h-happened?" More silence. Feli was growing more and more uncomfortable with
every second. The Skitty blew a sigh. She had never really been good with her nonexistent communication skills.

Bumping Into Strangers - Page 3 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Bumping Into Strangers   Bumping Into Strangers - Page 3 EmptyFri Nov 08, 2013 2:48 am

The Oshawott realized whatever came out of her mouth insulted Ko even more, and quickly shut it, silently vowing not to speak until she went to bed that night, in the safety of the guild. Thinking about the Guild silently brought up the matter how Bo and Tom, her teammates, seemed to disappear, or she haven't saw them for quite a while. Have they left for that reason? Because she spent most of her time in books, and not doing anything useful but they never told her? Why was she thinking this now? Maybe they were right...thought Ever as her tiny thread of a confidence nearly snapped, fraying into tiny little strands instead.

Bumping Into Strangers - Page 3 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Bumping Into Strangers   Bumping Into Strangers - Page 3 EmptySat Nov 09, 2013 10:05 pm

A rather nice conversation turned into something rather dangerous for her - the possibility of new enemies to possibly track her down during her soon-to-be explorations. That possibility was... bothersome. It was an obstacle in her plan that she didn't suspect the possibility of until much, much later into her adventures. Why so? Because of an oshawott which did a little studying. She had done a few rounds of repeating what was occurring several times in her head, yet she simply couldn't believe things had erupted in a matter of seconds. Getting everyone to calm down, to get the eyes off her and for people to not see her as an outlaw or a threat was the wisest thing. That archen's muttering was irritating. She had every reason to explode! Not for the reasons she said, but explode none-the-less she should be able to do! Her furious ranting hadn't seemed to switch the anger to the oshawott's direction, and that made her furious.

Notes would have to be made. Plans would have to be fought out. That little pest would fall, she's make sure of it. Grind their little ugly face into the ground and watch them scream for mercy as shadows take hold of them to judge them for eternity. Yes. That thought curled a sweet, sweet grin upon her lips. She most sincerely hoped that she would come across that oshawott in her travels, lost and alone, so she could extract her revenge.

In time, in time.

But the skitty had calmed down, as had Ko. Good. Forgetting everything? No, but lying was always a grand thing to do: "Mmm... Perhaaps thaat would be besst..." she muttered, turning once more to face them, her walking (well, hovering if you'll excuse the lack of feet) trajectory paused. She suspected that would happen and hoped it would. Letting things slide? Impossible, but the most she would do would make it seem as such. Forgiveness was for the weak-hearted, and the weak-hearted were the easiest to annihilate. "Forgiive me foor looosing my teemper. I am raather seensitive wheen it coomes to juudgmeental coomments," she apologised with a shake of that mist-like head, "Peerhaaps we caan staart oover, as Felicity has ooffered? I do haate to geet on the wroong foooot." Yes, and let us ignore the oshawott for now. She most certainly would not want to say the wrong thing in all this chaos. Again. Not even a glance at the water-type.

The archen liked where this was heading now, no fight, no problem. The archen merely nodded in agreement. He remained silent though, he still had his suspicions. The archen hated himself for being so suspicious, but he could not help it. He just could not get that outburst out of his mind, 'maybe i'm too judgemental...' he thought.
"Too judgemental,"
"Too cowardly to forgive"
"Too weak to accept things the way they are."
the voices whispered in his ear. He acted as if nothing was happening, but fear of the voices was consuming him and making him want to drown out the voices any way possible. When are these stupid voices going to just leave him ALONE!?

Feli nodded, relaxing her bristling fur (of fear, rather than anger). The Skitty sure didn't want to cross the line with Ko, even though she might have done so just a minute ago. After all, there was no telling what she could do. Feli realized she was still nodding and abruptly stopped, chiding herself for how stupid she must have looked. Still, the kitten felt uneasy. There was just something that wasn't right about how the Spiritomb had suddenly calmed down in such a smooth way. The malicious grin sure didn't help soothe her restless thoughts.

"Err, yes. Start over. That would be n-nice..." Feli awkwardly mumbled, not sure of what else to say. She then noticed that Acro was silent, and had a look- was it aggravation?- in his eyes. Ever wasn't so chatty herself, either. The feline shuffled her paws and stared at the ground. "Umm, right, Acro? Ever?"

Ever broke her vow of silence, Feli seemed to want reasurance, so hoping that they would forget she said, "Y-yes..T-that...would be g-good..." However, the words that the Spiritomb said earlier still rung in her mind, "Not forgiven." she had said, which repeated endlessly. Why did she want to leave and was so angry, yet seemingly forgave instantly? It was probably a silly fear, but suddenly she didn't want to be alone anymore. The Oshawott wanted to know where her teammates were, and she wanted to make sure they were safe. But that was normal right? Surely she would normally feel some sort of loneliness one time or the other, without her team? Ko couldn't be the cause of it, and if it was, then it was proven that the Spritomb was right. She remembered something about Acro losing his Teammates, and was caught in grief, but he seemed normal, like the last time she saw him. The only strange thing was that he was a bit more nervous, but then again, it could be because of the other Pokemon.

'Perfect', the spiritomb thought. The many minds in her head laughed, giggled, sneered, chuckled. So many echoes at such a... 'letting off' for her slight burst of anger, of losing herself so shamefully. Most pokemon these days were so soft, so eager to make friends and leave themselves vulnerable to others waiting to stab themselves in the back. A shame she did not have claws herself, or else she would do it herself. These little pests would believe anything they were told as long as the other was convincing enough, as long as a point was proven and the arguing side was dismissed. They were so soft, so hilariously squishy and that amused Ko greatly. Oh how it would bite them in the rear end one day and she did dearly hope she would be the cause for the biting.

"Sooooo, leet us staart off with a coonversaation topic, noooo? How aboouut thisss: Whaat iss the laateest aadventuure yoouu haave beeen oon? Whaat treeaasures haave you foouund?~" As she looked over them, she noticed the archen had went quiet, the skitty was shaking yet seemed to be trying to make amends, and the little runt had not ceased in its stuttering.

Good.

PostSubject: Re: Bumping Into Strangers   Bumping Into Strangers - Page 3 EmptyTue Nov 19, 2013 3:37 am

The trio spoke near the Archen as they decided to start over and give the spiritomb a second chance. Acro remained silent about his latest adventures, he doubted that they were at all interesting and held very few highlights. Most of his adventures involved either him being useless in some way and having an inner breakdown or doing near nothing at all. The archen's latest adventure HAD been of slight interest though, for he had gone to sandstone cave with his friend, William the gengar. The two had met a strange bug like creature that was convinced that the two were its parents! The two had merely let it be by sending it to sleep without harming it and merely continued with the mission. The Archen had been completely useless during the battle with a weezing though, as he had spent the entire time pinned under the bug like creature creating a rocky barrier and fighting off poison.

Ever noticed the silence between the other two, and thus shifted nervously, figuring that she was the one that would have to talk. The otter inhaled and slowly began to speak,

"W-w-w-well...I-I-I... ah...." The Oshawott struggled to find something to say, "I.....I t-t-traveled...to...Pecha Forest...." she finally put, not having many adventures recently. "W-w-with a friend....h-h-his n-n-name w-w-was S-Sammy..." recalling the experience with the Sewaddle, he was very much the definition of a gentleman, which was rather nice. "A-a-and I w-w-went....w-w-with o-o-one o-o-of m-m-my t-t-teammates t-t-to S-s-serene C-c-cave...T-Tom i-i-is h-h-his n-n-name....B-B-Bo w-w-was s-s-sick t-t-though..."

PostSubject: Re: Bumping Into Strangers   Bumping Into Strangers - Page 3 EmptyTue Dec 24, 2013 8:39 pm

Acro could hardly understand a word of what the oshawott was saying, the stuttering interrupted her sentences too much and he hardly remembered what she had said before after listening to half a minute's worth of stuttering. The archen looked to the others, seeing that they didn't seem so responsive as well. He felt that he was just being a third(technically fourth?) wheel. The archen spoke up, "Well...I guess i'm just going to uh...go...I was supposed to do some uh..missions."
He inched away before turning around and leaving, not meaning to be rude or anything, but he felt as if he wasn't needed, so he left to go mind his own business.
