PostSubject: Training for an Adventure!   Tue Aug 14, 2012 12:11 am

First topic message reminder :

Akuroma stood at the entrance of the old dojo. "Whoa, bigger than I thought. What do you think of it Keyami?" he asked the Meowth he befriended, what? A day ago? Two? It didn't matter to him now. Though Keyami proved...difficult at times, he was still somewhat trustworthy. Akuroma decided it best the two of them come to the dojo, especially him due to his weakness to dark types. Keyami may not be a dark type, but he does know bite, which is a start.

Enzu watched the battle attentively, 'Keyami truly is a strong opponent, he has been able to keep going with all of those attacks sent at him.' he thought to himself. He wanted to see how Akuroma would react to Keyami's close range fighting, if necessary he would step in and stop the fight.

Akuroma backed away from Keyami's attacks, he was more of a distance fighter, not a close ranged one. He was becoming a bit irritated at the fact that his confusion attacks weren't doing their job at confusing Keyami. Then again, he's usually scatterbrained, Akuroma thought, Wait! That's it, he's wasn't focused enough to get confused, now that his attention's completely on me, it might work now! With that he fired another confusion attack directly at the Meowth, confident his plan would work.

Keyami bared his teeth and leaped forward once more, claws outstretched. However, what he was not expecting was for yet another confusion to hit him dead on. He was thrown back a bit and as he thudded to the ground, he squirmed about. He felt peculiar, even more so than before. He stumbled about, telling his body to go one way and was utterly shocked when it went the opposite direction. Using this knowledge, he tried to go opposite the way he wanted to go, but was sent off in a completely different direction. He began firing off attacks right and left to try and escape this foggy feeling.

Akuroma didn't try to attack after Keyami finally got confused. Instead he stood there and just prepared to dodge if need be. He had used a lot of his power in all those confusion attacks and needed to try and get back as much as he could without eating; he'd feel as if he was cheating if he did). When he felt he had enough power he got ready just in case Keyami could break out of the confusion.

Keyami flailed about in his confusion and eventually tripped over his own feet and landed face first in the ground. This snapped him out of his confusion but also damaged him. He stood back up, swaying on his feet, not one to give in. Deciding to go long range this time, he went with another Foul Play attack.

Akuroma tried to guard himself from the attack, but it being a dark type one, he was practically done for. He flew back and hit the wall, then fell flat on his face and fainted.

"Well the winner of this match is Keyami," Enzu said, "And Keyami, go check on Akurmoa while I get a first aid kit." he said as he walked to one of the side rooms.

Keyami flailed about and skipped over to where Akuroma was laying face first, crowing happy things although they were probably rude."You shouldn't lay like that~ Your face will really hurt once you wake up." He was sitting by the Ralts and speaking as if his words were the worlds oldest truth. He continued yammering along, the damage he had sustained apparently not hindering his ability to talk and talk and talk.

Akuroma groaned, even though he was fainted he could still hear. That endlessly talkative Meowth had beaten him, he knew that, but did he really have to rub it in by giving Akuroma a headache?

Enzu walked back out of the side room with a small first aid kit. "Keyami I said check on him," he said as he walked over, "Not talk his ear off." he said as he got over to Akuroma. He then knelt down and pulled out an ointment.

"Sorry~" Keyami didn't look apologetic at all. He then ran around in circles until finally the damage he had taken tired him out. Which resulted in him flopping over and snoozing in the middle of the field. He snored rather loudly and wiggled his arms and legs around, muttering peculiar things under his breath.

Enzu let out a sigh as he watched Keyami run around then run out of energy, once he was done putting the ointment on Akuroma he gave him a nudge, "You okay?" he asked.

"Is Keyami dead or just asleep?" Akuroma groaned, his face still on the floor. While Keyami talked his crazy Meowth head off Akuroma did his best to try and figure out where he made a mistake in the battle. Over and over again he continually assumed it was either him letting Keyami recover from the Confusion or not finding a way to dodge Foul Play.

Keyami snored loudly in answer to Akuroma's question. He suddenly snorted and jerked upwards, eyes flipping open. He screeched a few sentences in what sounded like some ancient language and then flopped back down with a contented murmur. Honestly, I'd be concerned that he was possessed.

Akuroma sat up and looked at the Meowth somewhat boredly, "Well, that's new. Oh well, he's probably just having a weird dream," he said standing up and stretching. He then grabbed the Meowth's paw and began dragging him out of the dojo, "Thanks for the match Enzu, we'd stay longer but our friends are probably waiting for us."
