PostSubject: Training for an Adventure!   Tue Aug 14, 2012 12:11 am

First topic message reminder :

Akuroma stood at the entrance of the old dojo. "Whoa, bigger than I thought. What do you think of it Keyami?" he asked the Meowth he befriended, what? A day ago? Two? It didn't matter to him now. Though Keyami proved...difficult at times, he was still somewhat trustworthy. Akuroma decided it best the two of them come to the dojo, especially him due to his weakness to dark types. Keyami may not be a dark type, but he does know bite, which is a start.

"The only rules are that you cannot damage the surrounding building," Enzu said as he took a position at the middle of the field, "And I have the right to end the match whenever I see fit. Whether it be because the match is obviously over, or one of you is in danger of being hurt. You may start when you are ready."

Akuroma nodded, "Alright, simple enough," he stated. He stood at one end of the field. He didn't attack, knowing Keyami probably would want to start them off anyways.

Keyami started the battle nearly immediately. He began running towards Akuroma at full speed which, being a Meowth, was surprisingly fast. He used Fake Out once in range and kept a careful eye on the Ralts, knowing that he was intelligent and was probably going to pull something clever.

Akuroma didn't try to dodge the attack. He never noticed the Meowth's speed in battle before, probably because he was always jumping or prancing around instead of running. When he was slap he was practically a rock type. He stood exactly where he was, only his face turning in the direction of the slap. Akuroma ignored the sting of it and fired off a confusion attack since Keyami was so close to him.

Keyami was about to use a second attack when he was struck with an odd sensation. It stung after a while and he shuddered. Shaking it off, he realized it was probably a weird one of Akuroma's attacks. "Eeeww that felt grooooosss~" He whined and pouted before biting the Ralts.

Akuroma side stepped to dodge the bite, "And?" he asked nonchalantly. He fired yet another confusion attack at the Meowth. "Ya know, I thought this'd be harder since you're five levels above me," he commented.

Well that certainly fired up the Meowth. His eyes narrowed and he snarled. It wasn't in ones best wishes to get on Keyami's bad side. However jovial he may seem, he's actually rather frightening. His eyes flashed as he preformed his Foul Play attack.

Akuroma yet again side stepped to avoid the Meowth's attack. This time, though, he flipped Keyami towards him and fired a confusion attack directly at him.

Keyami neatly dodged the confusion attack with a roll and used Bite on the Ralts. He was out for vengeance and he wasn't going to stop until he at least got a hit in. He snarled once more. "Is that all y'got, Blanket feet?~"

"Hardly," he said in an emotionless tone, firing a confusion at Keyami again. Since Keyami was so close to him, touching him actually, Akuroma knew the Meowth couldn't possibly dodge an attack at point blank range.

Keyami winced as he took yet another confusion attack. He let go of the Ralts and stumbled backwards, clutching at his head. Shaking away from the peculiar sensation, Keyami fired another Foul Play attack towards Akuroma.

Akuroma didn't dodge fast enough and ended up getting hit pretty badly. He stood his ground, though, and fired another confusion attack, knowing Keyami would eventually have to get confused and start attacking himself.

Keyami conceded a bit and whimpered when he was struck by yet another confusion attack. He fell onto his knees but struggled back up, shooting yet another Foul Play. He was determined to win this one and was fighting with a bit more passion.

Akuroma dodged and counter attacked with yet another Confusion attack. He was slightly irritated that he didn't know any other attacking moves.

Keyami knew that he wouldn't last much longer with the ridiculous amount of confusion attacks being thrown his way. To finish things up quickly, he launched himself on Akuroma, ignoring the throbbing sensation brought on by the confusion attack. He bit and scratched at the Ralts, growling a bit.
