Rusty padded forward wearily, his eyes clouded with sleep as he sat down by a tree, yawning. I'm too tired to be worried of other pokemon, he thought groggily, stretching out his right leg, trying to shake off the sleep.
The poocheyna walked forward, his fur a bit matted as he bent down to take a drink of the large pond, seeing a part of the guild in the distance. He pulled his head up, mouth dripping with water as he sat down to start grooming his paws. "What's even so important about the guild," he muttered to himself.

Lilly was at the Small Pond, doing one of her fave activities, swimming. She saw a Poocheyena take a drink at the shore and mutter, "What's even so important about the guild?" She swam onto the shore and shook the water off her fur. "WHat's so important about the guild?' she asked him back. (rhetorically, of course.) "Only that it provides places to live and work for Pokemon who otherwise would be home- and jobless. And the members there are happy to go into the forests and such where rare items are, so that they can get them for POkemon like me, who own shops. I don't always have time to go into forests to gather Oran and Pecha berries for my medicine. That's why Pokemon at the guild help us out- it allows them to help others."

Rusty gave the random pokemon a weird look. He didn't get it, how could they be nice to total strangers? "Who'd want to sit at a shop all day trying to make money when there's a huge forest?" He grunted, yawning as he sat down.

"People who have a living to make," she replied coolly. "A lot of Pokemon thing that way... But my shop isn't doing very well. Why on Earth whould anyone buy medicine from a shop when they could just go out into a forest and find Berries with the same effects for free...?" Lilly shook her head. "Lots of bigger, wealthier shops can afford hiring exploration teams to find items to sell for them. I don't have enough Poke to do that though. It's either shop time and hope someone buys something, or go out and look for some items yourself. It's a a tough choice, but it has to be made."

Rusty kinda felt bad as the lillipup went on about her failing shop. "It's not that hard,'" he grumbled, walking over to the nearest tree of oran berries, and tackled it, sending the berries flying on the ground below. "See? I do it all the time."

"Yeah, it's not that hard to find berries. But you have to make sure that they're of good quality. Then you have to dry them properly so that you can crush them into pwder- and that is definetly not easy- and then you have to get all the powder, clean it so it's usable without making them sick, and package it. And then after the whole process, you have to sell it. And lots of Pokemon don't really like the taste of herbal medicine, so I'm trying to find Watamel berries, which are REALLY rare, to sweeten it, or at least make the flavor bearable for those who don't like bitter things. And since most berries are at least semi-rare, I only have basic painkillers and antidotes." She sighed. "Dang, I'm feeling gloomy. Wanna go for a swim?"

"I'm not one for swimming," Rusty replied quickly. He'd never been to keen on swimming. "But I might know where to find your berries, since I've been traveling the forest for awhile."

"Hey, thanks! We should be able to find Watamel Berries in the Pecha Forest. I'll meet you there." With that, the Lillipup went to grab her berry-hunting bag.

Please note that it is general consensus of the site that a post should be more than 50 words long, and should aim to be at least 100 words long. Many of your posts do not reach this limit, despite how low it is. Please rectify this.
