Find that Wrumple with a Rinka Berry!!

Mission:

A blue creature slithered into the forest excitedly. He had just taken a mission without Acro's knowing, since the prehistoric bird pokemon seemed to be busy with other things. The dratini was excited to take down a bad pokemon, a wrumple that had stolen from a poor Jigglypuff. He looked up at the berry filled trees with a hint of disgust, he had finished a mission recently that included collecting 10 of the annoying Pecha Berries. He gave a huff at the trees and slithered on, in hopes of finding the evil thief that should be brought to justice!

William tried to shoot down each of Astrid's many questions as quickly as possible, having read enough to know the answers and not caring enough to try and give accurate answers.
"Because of the climate, yes, never, from the trees, from Arceus, from Pokémon."
Then, as he was surprised, that Astrid had stopped asking questions for two full seconds, William looked around, to see Astrid with an item. Of course she had once again picked up random trash from the ground. It was:

Astrid had found an oran berry. He looked at the round blue berry with interest before taking a bite out of it, delighted by the taste. He stopped chewing on it to look up at the ghastly and said, "Oh sorry, I should've asked if you wanted it...want the rest?" he asked. He hadn't noticed that three figures were coming from behind the ghastly, being too focused on the berry and the ghastly.
(sorry for crap post, 3rd figure is wrumple since we can't roll a wrumple in Pecha Forest.)

"Uh...no...we haven't been injured, so I would suggest to save them for later actually. After all, it wo-urgh."
The Gastly was rudely interrupted as a Wurmple slammed into his back, knocking the Ghost type through the air a bit. Since it was accompanied by two other Pokémon and Wurmple seldomly lived in these parts of the forest, it was quite obvious, that this was the outlaw the duo or rather Astrid was looking for.
This wouldn't be an easy battle, but if they won, Astrid would finally leave again.
Letting that thought pass through his head again and again, William collected his strength for the fight, that was about to begin...

A caterpie and a deerling moved out from behind the wrumple and stood protectively in front of it. The wrumple carried a smug look, that angered Astrid since it had just harmed his friend, "Leave Willy alone you big bully!" She called before her nose glowed a blue color as she used Water Pulse, the attack pulsed towards the wrumple only for the deerling to get in the way and take the attack, not receiving much damage from the attack. Astrid was too enraged by the wrumple to think straight and use an attack that WAS effective against all three of the pokemon, Fire Blast. The small dragon pokemon had completely forgotten about the move, possibly causing trouble for the rest of the battle since the caterpie had used strink shot, wrapping it around his head and covering his ears as it tossed him about and into trees,

After recovering again, William floated up high into the air, trying to avoid the outlaws from reaching him.
His head still hurt from the Wurmple's hit, but he managed to use his Smog attack, enveloping the attackers in a cloud of poisonous gases, which not only damaged them, but also reduced their vision, so it should be more difficult for them to hit William and Astrid. However, since the Caterpie's and the Wurmple's abilities prevented them from getting poisoned and the Deerling simply got lucky, they wouldn't be able to simply wait it out.

Astrid grew furious by the deerling as it hopped away from the smog attack. His nose glowed a bright blue as he used yet another Water Pulse, striking and deerling. The deer pokemon wobbled on it's legs as it looked around, confused. It couldn't decipher what was what and started to thrash about, attacking anything that moved. It tackled the wrumple, angering it and causing it to strike back.
Astrid watched as the enemies began to fight among themselves, he wondered why they had started to do that, unaware of the effect of Water Pulse.

Chuckling slightly at the resulting confusion, William decided not to intervene for now as he didn't want to get caught in the crossfire of the Wurmple and the Deerling. While he was immune to Normal type and Fighting type attacks, standard attacks as well as differently-typed moves could still hurt him.
As a famous fighting expert once said:
"The best battle isn't those, that is easily won but rather the one, that doesn't have to be fought out at all."
And since his enemies were defeating themselves, intervening would only be an unneccessary waste of energy.
Thus, the Gastly's attention was directed towards the Caterpie, the only Pokémon, that hadn't been involved in the fighting yet. Once again remembering the quote, William decided for a more unusual approach, trying to make use of what had tormented him so much already.
Calmly, he floated directly in front of it, staring into its eyes as threateningly as possible and began to speak, using a voice colder than ice:
"May I make a suggestion? Run."

THe caterpie screeched in fear and spat out silk in a string shot to try and tangle the foe as it attempted to escape. The tiny caterpillar pokemon inched away as fast as it could, terrified of the ghost pokemon. It moved faster than it ever had before, which wasn't that fast compared to Astrid's slithering.
Astrid, meanwhile, watched the Wrumple and the Deerling brawl it out. The deerling shook it's head in a frenzied panic before attacking the blue worm-like pokemon. Astrid felt something stomp on his body as the Deerling tripped over him before tackling him. Astrid was also thrown into a state of panic, his nose glowed a bright red before a fire symbol was blasted at the deerling. The deerling screeched as the blast shoved it into a tree and KO'd it.

While William had been hit and slowed down by the String Shot, he couldn't help but grin.
That was easier than expected, but there still was a Wurmple to fight.
That Wurmple was currently using String Shot, to swing itself onto the Gastly's head and started using Bug Bite.
While William's typing prevented most of the damage and he was at most moderately annoyed, the Wurmple's position would make it difficult to hit it without injuring William as well.
And then the Gastly had an idea.
William floated a step back and...began floating towards the biggest tree he could find at full speed.
Would his plan work?

Astrid had no clue what the ghastly was up to, all he knew was the wrumple was being mean and should be defeated. His nose glowed a bright red as he shot a flaming symbol at the worm like pokemon. The pokemon managed to move in time, dodging the dangerous attack as it smashed into a tree and set it aflame. Luckily the tree seemed to be more moist and the fire didn't last long on it. Astrid ignored the semi-burnt tree and looked at the target of the mission, the wrumple. The dratini had finally gotten rid of the silk wrapped around his head and slithered over to the worm pokemon, wrapping around it and coiling as much as she could until she got to the point of damaging it.

Great.
Not only did the Wurmple avoid getting smashed against the tree, it dodged Astrid's attack as well, while William almost got hit by the Fire Blast and now was charging away from the battle.
At least floating through the tree removed the silk he had been trapped in.
But since he now was relatively far away from the battle, the Gastly first had to hurry back to Astrid before he could take part in the action again.

The wrumple screed in pain from the wrap attack, and decided to beg for help from the pokemon around the area he was friendly with. He called for help and two more figures emerged from the bushes.
Astrid meanwhile was still wrapping around the wrumple as it called for help, he couldn't do anything else while wrapping the wrumple since he was utilizing his entire body to keep the wrumple immobile. He would be vulnerable to the two new minions though if they decided to attack him at the risk of hurting their boss, which was most likely.

As William saw the Rattata and the other Pokémon approach Astrid, he had to think for a moment.
Maybe he could just leave and the Astrid problem would take care of itself?
No, his relationship with Acro meant too much to William to give it up, despite the terror, that was the Dratini.
Deciding to focus on the other Pokémon, William floated over to it.
It was still hiding in the shadows of the bushes, making it unrecognisable.
Probably it was waiting for a good moment to jump out and attack, but William wouldn't let it come that far.
Staring directly into the bushes, he readied his Hypnosis for...

A petlil that had just arrived was subjected to Hypnosis, falling asleep under the shade of the shadows. It gave a startled cry before looking into the ghastly's eyes and falling into a slumber.

Astrid finally released the Wrumple when he felt a rattata bite his back. He yelled in pain and fled, releasing the wrumple who took a moment to catch its breath while the rattata stood in front to defend it like a loyal trained dog. It growled at Astrid, lowering his attack and making his wrap attack weaker as he flung himself onto the rattata, squeezing its rib cage and making it immobile.

Having neutralized the Petilil for the moment being, William turned around again, to see Astrid in trouble...again. Having gotten quite used to such a sight, William didn't waste any time, but rather charged straight ahead at the Rattata, trying to knock it off of the Dratini.
Some day he would have to learn a move, that would help him to deal with those Normal types. Preferrably one, that would be a bit more precise, as most of his moves would be endangering others, that would be in close combat with his target.
